Anywayz. Its about damn fuckin time. I dont see a reason why they would take it off Maryse in her first high profile defense. Ill be enjoying myself. My two favorite Divas. Wait, I lie, ill be watching this in person. Meaning Ill just hang out long enough to do a funny dance during Maryse's music, then go get one of thos big ass pretzels. Thatll be delicous.

Maryse and Mickie James. Two of my very favorite divas, along with Layla. I will love this match, no matter what the outcome is. You have my favorite ppv, occuring in my hometown, with two of my favoirte divas facing each other for the Diva's Championship... IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT! As for the result... I don't know. It's a little to early to tell. Once I watch the next episodes of Raw, leading up to Night of Champions, I will say who I think will win. So, for now... my prediction is blank! After watching Raw for the past two weeks, I've seen Maryse stand tall over Mickie James with the Divas Championship in hand twice, and I don't see it happening for a third time.

Prediction: Mickie James wins the Diva's Championship.

Did someone just say Maryse looks like a dog? Really? I gotta disagree. Go look up her nudies. At any rate, should be the best quality Diva's match they can have. Not saying a whole lot, but whatever. I'm hoping this is the only Diva's match. They seem to be taking turns between the Women's and Diva's Championship. I think Mickie wins. No reason why.

Ahhhhhhh Maryse vs Mickie James, a match we have all been waiting for since the draft. Maryse should win otherwise it makes her look weak, but its only the Divas title nobody gives a shit about it anyway. For me this will be the piss and snack break.

Maryse vs. Mickie James should get everyone who says the Women's Division is dead to at least have some faith. And since I don't have somewhere to buy some big soft pretzels I'll have to sit through it. I hope it's good. I really do.

Maryse to win. It's her first big defense, after what, 2 PPVs full of title changes? I don't expect many to lose their titles during NOC. Orton, maybe.

I was convinced Mickie would win this match and become the first woman to hold both womens belts. But since they gave that honor to McCool I am leaning toward Maryse winning, perhaps with some interfernece from The Miz, and then feuding with Gail Kim.
I am a Mickie fan and hope she wins but do not think she will.

Should be a decent match. Mickie has beaten Maryse a couple of times a few months ago but I think Maryse will win this one. This is her first high profile defense and I believe she will deliver and win to retain the belt. For some reason I'm hoping for a Maryse/Kelly Kelly feud because I think she will be the next to challenge Maryse after Mickie.

I think it will be a pretty good match. Maryse has done nothing but impress. And Mickie is always great in the ring. I think it's just a matter of who hit's the DDT first here. Both of there finisher's are DDT's and I have yet to see a diva kick out of another diva's finisher. They tend to not have much stamina lol. And damn man you so lucky! Can you get me a giant ass pretzel too please?

I'm pretty much going to agree with everyone, and say that Maryse retains here. There's no reason for her to drop the title, nor is there a reason for Mickie to win it. Mickie is in this match purely to make Maryse look good, and potentially set her up for a feud with Gail Kim.

Maryse has held the title for a while now, and has yet to do anything credible with it. It's not her fault. There's just not many divas that can actually wrestle anymore. Hopefully she can show something in the win here.

I'm part of the minority that actually enjoys Divas matches, so I'll really enjoy this, I think. Mickie is my personal favorite and in my belief the best female wrestler in the business today, and Maryse is a close second. You don't get much better than this.

The match should be damn fine for Divas standards and may even get some decent time (who am I kidding, it's 5 minutes). They've built it up really well, I have to say, and the payoff here should be great.

I figure on Mickie winning. Maryse has been champ for a while and Mickie deserves another reign. Maryse has plenty more ahead of her, I'm sure, but giving it to Mickie not only gives her a well deserved fifth reign as a women's champion, but gives a lot of credibility to the title and its history, which is a big plus.

A good Divas match here that probably ends with Mickie walking out as Divas Champion.

Can't wait for Night of Champions! Two diva matches in one night This match should be a good match on paper, since Mickie & Maryse are both good workers, but from the tag matches I have seen, I just don't think these two work well together. While it could just be because they haven't really been given the time in the ring, I just don't see a ton of chemistry.

They have built this match up better than the usual diva's feud, and while I think Mickie will win it, I kind of hope Maryse retains, just for personal reasons. Mickie has the upper hand in the feud and has been made to look good, but with Gail coming over to Raw I would like to see Maryse and Kim have another shot at a feud.

Well first off the bat i feel that this match has a lot more potential to impress than the Women's Championship match, if purely for the fact that it doesn't involve McCool (Sorry M_F), as Maryse has the potential and the ability to put forward more consistant and better performances, and with Mickie, one of the most talented and experienced Divas in the ring with her, should at least be carried to a sastifactory match. I like that there has been a solid build to this match, developing the rivalry between Maryse and Mickie and that is come to head here at NoC.

Although i hope that they give the victory to Maryse as she needs it to be able to establish herself as a credible champion which could then give the rub to any of her future opponents, if Mickie wins i will not be totally disatisfied, moreso ponederous over where she would go from there, as there aren't that many heel divas on raw at the moment, with Beth Phoenix, Rosa, and Alicia Fox being the only heels we've seen on tv lately, with Jillian m.i.a currently, and of those 3 aside from Maryse, we've already seen a lengthy James/Phoenix feud, and neither Fox nor Rosa are of the quality or level to be put into a feud with Mickie.

So once again my prediction is a solid heel win for Maryse, then maybe a rematch and Maryse moves into a decent feud with Kelly Kelly

I'm feeling a title change here. They have been saying since the draft that Maryse is either afraid of or dodging Mickie, which is code for 'When they wrestle, Mickie is going to win.' I would like Maryse to win so that belt gets at least a semi-credible reign, but I think Mickie will get the win.

on paper this is not bad as it sounds. Maryse as really impressed me lately. she will be going head to head with the best womens wrestler on Raw. these two will at least keep me off a piss break for a change in women matches.

Maryse has worked her wonderful behind off to get to the point where she is at. She was essentially a porn star, that knew only French, no wrestling and simply had a good look. She's become a great talker, a decent worker, and a spectacular performer, better than most we've seen in the last few years. (For the women, of course.) She has earned her spot, and I'm proud of her. Her feud with Mickie James has been carried by Maryse, her doing all the talking and hyping the eventual showdown. James has done her part in the ring, and at NoC, we'll see the best Diva's title match ever. (As if that's hard to do.) Both James and Maryse are good in the ring, nice to look at, and for once have a decent story going into the match. I'm not going to take a piss during this contest, and there is something to say for that.

As for the match itself, I don't expect anywhere over eight minutes of ring time, and that's being generous. Expect Alicia Fox, or is it Layla, to interfere and cost Mickie the match behind the referee's back. I don't think this is the blow-off match, so Mickie won't gain the belt. The heel always wins the matches besides the final one, or at least most of the time. All in all, expect something good, but don't be fooled into thinking this will be Mickie/Trish or something of the like.

Nice to see WWE actually carry a decent divas feud. As pretty much everyone above said, Maryse has spent her time very well in being a big deal in the divas division. Mickie has always been one of my favorite divas and can run well with the belt. On the other hand, Maryse on Smackdown really wasn't able to get the exposure she should have. Gail Kim came on really late, but Maryse really didn't get the chance to feud with her.

I think that this match will surely be better than the Smackdown match. I pick Maryse to retain. But still it will be a good match by WWE diva standards.

I hope that they keep the title on Maryse. She has been doing a great job in her role and I have been really enjoying her character.

However, I think there is a possibility that they could put the belt on Mickie James for one simple reason. They want to raise the title's prestige. Right now, Mickie and Beth Phoenix would be the only ones who would be able to do that. They are both former multiple time Women's Champion, so why not put the title on one of them. That's the only reason I can think of on why they would possibly change the title to someone else.

Anyways, if this match is given some time it can be good. I'm actually looking forward to see what they are going to do and I am hopeful that the crowd isn't dead.

This match has had some build to it. It's got the whole, 'Maryse doesn't want anything to do with Mickie' thing going on and the fact that they've only wrestled in Tag Team action says a lot about the build. Dare I say it has an old school build to it?

I think Maryse will take the win on this simply because it's not a Women's Champion, it's the Diva's title. Maryse, at this point, exemplifies Diva. Kelly Kelly would make a great champion, too. Mickie James is too tomboyish to be a Diva's champion. I don't understand why she wasn't moved to Smackdown. Her and Melina would have an epic feud. So would her and McNasty...err McCool.

I think Maryse will retain. As NorCal said they shouldn't make her drop the gold in her first high profile title defense. Plus they keep putting over that she can't beat Mickie James. She did just beat her though taking away some of the mystery. I don't know there have only been two divas champions ever and with Smackdowns Womens champ now being the first to hold the divas and womens titles I expect Mickie to become the second. I'm undecided I have a week. But it could really go either way.

I completely expect Maryse to retain, just because this is her first high profile defense. It just sucks because this match will probably have a better place on the card than the ECW Championship match

Wow, WWE actually has me interested in a divas match for the first time in years, they seem to have took the time to build somewhat of a story for this, Maryse has carried the feud no doubt and is one of the most entertaining characters right now, male or female, plus she's decent in the ring so if Mickie is at her best and they're given more than 5 minutes I expect this to be a lot better than the usual diva crap we get on PPV's.

The general opinion seems to be that this is gonna be really good as far as the divas matches go. I pretty much agree. Two of the better divas going at it for the divas title. If Mickie wins then it would add some prestige to the belt, but if she does then there aren't many heels for her to have a good feud with. Maryse would get her rematch, Beth would come back and they could revive their feud but that's been done.... Jillian, Rosa, and Alicia would not stand a chance if Maryse lost in her rematch. Maryse should retain here because there is still a potentially great feud that has not quite been done yet, Maryse VS Kelly. I look forward to that if Maryse retains. I think she will, she's a great champion (for divas anyway)

Personally the way things are going on Raw right now, don'T be surprise to see Mickie James win the title since the divas division on raw seem to be more about T&A types matches and less about the championship. Mickie as made her career out of being blend and having forgetful championship reigns and right now that's pretty much were the divas division on raw is,forgotten.

Will i was typing this reply i just thought of something, wouldn'T it be great if Maryse would lose the belt at night of champions. Then you could continue this feud between the 2 of them until Breaking Point in September and have MAryse regain the championship in her home town since Breaking Point is in Montreal. This would be such a good ending to this feud.

Anyway this probably won't be a long match since the PPV got 8 matchs and 2 of them are diva's matches plus they need to give a lot of time to the 2 world titles matches just don'T expect anything out of the ordinary from this match or the other woman's title match since they aren'T that important the creative team.

I pretty much agree with the majority here in saying that Maryse will retain. I don't see Maryse dropping the title this early as she's still doing very well with the title and making feuds/matches look more legible, however Mickie would be a good option if she were loosing the title. I'm in favor of Maryse winning, but Mickie certainly has a little chance.

Yea, two pretty good all-around divas squaring off, this should be a fairly good match if their chemistry works. I can't wait to see what they'll do, or the fans reaction for that matter in regards to how much they're into the match will they be.
