New WWE Championship Title Belts featuring the new WWE logo unveiled on Raw the night after SummerSlam are now available!!

So what do you WZers think!? I, myself, will be getting the current WWE Triple Crown Championship Title Belts (WWE, Intercontinental, and 2 WWE Tag Team), along with a 3rd Detolf display case as soon as I can.

I actually like the WWE WH title design. Simple but effective, though I do miss the champion's name inscribed on the bottom. IC title is nice too. I don't think I'll ever like the new tag team belts. They always look like something from Toys R Us in my eyes.

From a personal standpoint, I'd have to go with the IC title. As goofy as this might sound, everything about the title just seems to mesh very well together. The symmetry of the title plates just match up really well, the plates themselves are shiny and lustrous in appearance, the white sets it off and gives it this...I dunno...maybe a "clean" sort of overall look.

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship just seems to be lacking in grandeur, in my opinion at least. The "World Heavyweight Championship" wording size and style just seems kinda blah. There's no real style or pizazz to it. I prefer the new logo over the scratch logo, so that's an improvement. However, the biggest thing that gets me is that what luster the center plate has is dimmed by the leather strap of the belt. I'll take it over the spinner belt any day of the week though.

I've got no problem with the United States Championship. Has a decent little combination of new and old school about it. The red, white & blue motif doesn't overpower things, it's in a good balance.

The WWE Tag Team Championship belts are kinda strange. Some don't like 'em, but I've liked the coloring. It's different and I always thought that the Roman Centurion helmets standing back to back was a nice little bit of symbolism. Two comrades standing back to back, taking on all comers, etc.

The WWE Divas Championship is just...well it's just friggin' ugly in my opinion. There's no symmetry to the plates, the coloring is just lousy and the center plate looks like a friggin' butterfly. The championship looks....well...it looks downright girly for my tastes. Yes, I know it's a title for women, but it looks like an accessory a 10 year old girl would find packaged up with a Barbie doll.

My opinions about the Belts and my collecting habits are 2 different things. I don’t hate the Divas Title, it’s just my least favorite. I prefer the Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Belts over the current Penny Tag Team Belts, but since they didn’t make a Commemorative version of the Red and Blue Tag Straps, I decided to wait for the updated Penny Tags before adding them to my collection . I think an updated WCW United States Championship on a white strap would complement the current Intercontinental Belt nicely. The white Intercontinental has grown on me as well, as I do prefer Belts with nameplates. Like the Tag Belts, I decided to wait for the updated version for the white IC Belt.

A friend of mine is really into belts, he always banging on about Reggie someone or other who makes them. I on the other hand can't see the mystique in them. In saying that however, I do have some thoughts on them.

The WWE title is to me too harsh and too much bling. It puts me in mind of the Million Dollar belt DiBiase used to carry around, and I'm not a fan of it.

The IC, US, Tag belts are all very nice, and I love the white leather strap on the IC belt. Like the idea of the Roman centurions on the tag title, very old and prestigious looking. The US title isn't too over the top with the red, white and blue, and I like the Statue of Liberty plates on it. Nothing more American than the Statue of Liberty.

The Diva's title is the worst one out of the bunch. From the colours to well just about everything about the belt it's awful. I think the thing that bothers me the most, is the way the butterfly, at least I think it's a butterfly, sticks over the top. It looks like one of the stickers that little kids would put on. It's not as bad as that belt they made for Jeff Hardy in TNA, but yea it comes pretty close to it.

I actually agree with this. The big gold belt looks "professional" for lack of a better world, while the new WWE championship just looks like a big toy.

I quite like the IC belt, altought the white strap is a bit eh.

The US belt works, no objection about it.

The tag team belt has the same problem as the WWE in being quite cartoony, but it's a bit better than the WWE ones. At least from a distance the Tag Team belt look ok.

The diva championship is horrible and weirdly sexist. ("oh you're women so you get a cuuuuute butterfly")

Always hated WWE's version of the US Title, looks like it was designed with Crayola, in WCW it was a lovely looking belt, very prestigious finish to it.

The IC title hands down. But the U.S. Title isn't bad & I do think the new WWE Title belt looks 100 times better with the new logo on it rather than the old scratch logo. I just wish the logo/globe sideplates were permanent, all the goofy personalized sideplates just look stupid.

Also it's a shame that the U.S. title & the Divas title are the only belts with name plates now, super random.

I'll go with all of the above. I like every championship design currently in use the by the WWE. While there are a couple I would change, there are none that stick out as being my very favorite. The World Heavyweight Championship should replace the black plate behind the WWE logo with a gold plate, it would pay tribute to the big gold belt and look a lot more prestigious than it does at this time, I still like the design though. It has grown on me a ton. I'd also rather they bring back the blue themed belts they used for the Smackdown exclusive Tag Team Championship belts rather than the giant pennies, which also have grown on me. Even the Divas Championship, which still gets more hate than it deserves, is a good design. It's very pretty and shiny, it stands out from the titles that the male wrestlers compete for. Say what you will about the butterfly plate, it's still a good looking belt. I'd have brought back the plates of the Womens Championship and given it a red or pink strap, but I have no issues with the current design. I voted for each title design. All of them are great despite the changes I would make if it were up to me.

I think fans are unnecessarily critical of the championship belt designs. It seems people usually agree that title belts should remain static, classic and unchanging. I disagree. The titles getting updated every few years makes the shows more visually exciting, and the current crop of belt designs are graphic, vibrant, clean and distinctive. My only criticisms are that the U.S. and Divas titles should lose the nameplates, it seems weird that 2 belt designs have them and the rest don't.

The WWE title before it was changed for Brock and the network was much better. I really liked that one and plan on buying that version.

The IC belt looks awesome though.

Agreed, not sure how anyone can like the Tag Titles, it literally screams these are third rate titles which is suitably accompanied by a bronze finish.

I chose the IC title, always liked the classic look. One thing I would do if I were the WWE is give the wrestler who holds the title the chance to change the color. Back in the day that title saw many different colors, I remember the Ultimate Warrior having different colors, as well as Shawn Michaels. Say right now Dolph wanted to change to the blue that Shawn had back in the day, it would fit his character as well as one of the colors that he wears.

As for the World Title, I would go with a more modern version of the Winged Eagle title belt that seemed to be most fans favorite. A bigger, newer version would fit along with the IC title look of a more classic look and I think stop having the belt look like a toy.

IC Title for me, that white strap ... dayum! It looks like it's from 30 years ago, and has a real old fashioned feel. Classy, elegant, and the unique strap colour lends it a certain ... je ne sais quoi.

That said, I don't totally hate the WHC now. It's grown on me, as has the new logo. I'll miss the scratchy logo, but this is a streamlined look for the modern era. It's cool.

I'd like them better if the color changed to gold. In fact, with the belts currently on Gold and Stardust, it would fit with their gimmick if they changed it to gold. Why would they wanna carry around a pair of belts that look they were brought from an antique shop?

The tag team titles are horrendous. I preferred this design from the early 2000s:

Again, what was wrong with this belt? It was sharp, professional, and deserving of a champion. TNA has a nice set of tag team titles too. Also, their World Title is pretty sharp, but the X-Division? Yikes. I miss the old belt there.

I have no gripe against the IC or US titles. I think both look nice. The Diva's Title looks appropriate for the division I guess.

I have to respectfully disagree there. I for the life of me cannot fathom why people like this design so much. I always found it to be generic and boring. If we're bringing back classic designs, it should be the Winged Eagle version. It's not generic looking, whoever held it looked like a legitimate World Champion.

Imagine that with the new logo design on the plate instead of the classic logo. As for your comment on the tag team belts, I also miss the old belts too especially the blue one used for the Smackdown exclusive belts. I really have no major issues with any belt design currently in use though. I'd make some small changes if I could as I stated in my other post, but the designs of today are fine really. All of them are good.

Well, this was a thread about the NEW WWE Championship Title Belts, but if we’re going to talk about what our favorite designs are or what designs we prefer the Championship Title Belts to be, then my list is as follows.

Tag Team – I prefer the 2 Belt design, using both the Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Championship Title Belts.

United States – No change. I love the United States Championship Title Belt.

Intercontinental – I prefer the version with the nameplate. The current / classic version is nice, but I think this Championship Title Belt gives a better representation of “Intercontinental”. Look at the side plates.

World – This is my favorite Championship Title Belt ever!! I love the elements of both “WWE” and “WCW”. I love the color scheme of just black and gold with a hint of red. I just really love it!!
