New Kane Mask?

Im not entirely sure but i was just browsing wwe.com and they had a gallery about "Unseen Kane" and at the end of it they had this new kane mask i have never seen before:

What is this? I have never seen kane like this before. Looks like a mix of his current mask and his old attitude era mask. Are we going to see kane with this new look on RAW this monday?

Kane will be going without the mask for the time being because of his new movie See No Evil 2.

This is not a new mask. This was the mask Kane wore in 2002-2003 when he was in a tag-team with Rob Van Dam before unmasking.

Like LegendKiller716 has already stated, that mask is neither new or current. It's the same exact mask he wore during 2002-2003ish. Google image "Kane Mask Rob Van Dam". You'll see it.

As for introducing a new mask, I highly doubt it. See No Evil 2is coming out and WWE likes to tie in their wrestlers with their movies. Last time we got to see Kane with his Jacob Goodnight hook & chain. Jacob's bald. Kane will be bald. Giving Steph his mask is evidence he is going back to his sadistic maskless self.

Kane w/o his mask is BAD for business. First of all guy is ugly as hell. I was hoping he would return with a Leatherface-style mask and join the Wyatt family. Instead we get boring unmasked Kane again. Great.

Kane's 2002-2003 mask was his best masked look in my opinion, but I welcome the return of unmasked Kane. 90% of his best work was done in 2003-2011 when he had no mask. He was able to show a much wider range of emotion, and his match quality was much higher than it had been before, and since getting the mask back I feel like he's lost the fire from his career. Kane NEEDS to be maskless, it's how he works best. And this is coming from a day one Kane fan.

Or he can be both. He can be maskless most times, but when Stephanie "unleashes the monster" as Kane said, she can call him out to the ring and give him his mask, he puts it on and you know things are about to get hectic if they make the masked persona of Kane to do nothing but destruction. They could also make the masked and maskless have different personas which could even add to the depth.

Could be a great idea if done right.

My only complaint is how every time he takes off the mask, it turns out he's also got a "wig" on. The first time he took off the mask (after losing a Mask VS Title match to HHH, ironic enough) I was like "What the...he's bald!?" Now, whenever he goes back to the mask, if he does, I'll have trouble thinking he actually has the long hair, or any hair at all. It may hurt my opinion of his character, primarily because I think I'll be distracted about how fake the persona is...yes, I am aware of what I just said. Claiming a "professional wrestling" character is fake...but the persona of Kane can be one you get disillusioned with, much like Taker, to me at least. There is just an aura about him, makes it seem more legit. Maybe it's his dominate size to most, or something, but you actually see him as a monster. But a monster that shops at wigs are us...not as believable...unless it's Cousin It.
