Need help buying a camera

The camera on my phone is a pile of shit, so I decided I'm just going to buy a fucking camera. It's just going to be mainly for casual use for the most part as I don't take a ton of pictures so I don't want to spend a ton of money, I'd mostly be using for taking pics at events & shows & shit like that, so I need help picking out a decent camera for less than $75. If you have an suggestions as to what type of camera I should get, what I should look for in a camera, or where I could get the best deal, anything like that would be helpful.

Gropouns usually had some nice deals on cameras. Just takes a while to get there. Nikion, Fuji, Sony are a few that are good brands.

The 2 big things to look for are the zoom and megapixel rating.

I'd suggest trying to find a camera with at least 10x zoom and a 16 megapixel rating. It's not a big thing, but if you can find one with a CMOS sensor then they tend to cope a wee bit better in low light situations.

The Nikon 6200 is a decent camera that should be around your price range; it covers the basics, can shoot video, is easy to use and has some decent effects you can play around with too.

I would look at either nikon or Cannnon. CAnnon has one for 80/90 and is perfect for a point and shoot. I;m not much of an expert on it but I;m paid to know at least something on cameras.....
