It is worth it as long as you enjoy the cast. Funny stuff.


I would recommend finishing a few more episodes of Vinyl before you make a final judgement. It gets better.

I got seasons four and five of The Simpsons on the super cheap this week. I'm set for the rest of the year at the rate I go through that stuff.

I went on a tear in my early 20s collecting TV series on DVD. I had all of South Park, Futurama, and Family Guy. Then I decided that I was going to start with The Simpsons. At one point I had seasons 6,7, and 8. Then adulthood happened. I sold all of those (except South Park which I still have) and all of my wrestling DVDs of which there were a lot.

You're very welcome for that information you in no way asked for.

Recently I've gotten sucked into a couple of episodes of Parenthood due to my wife. I have a feeling that show will end up being added to the list as well. That's why Gilmore Girls and Supernatural are there.

I tapped out after the first episode of season 2. Hard to suspend disbelief when the Vice fucking President has now murdered 2 people.

Family Guy to me was a great enjoyable show. I know a lot of people have bailed on it, probably as early as 2006-2007, but I've enjoyed the show even more since then. Up until I'd say these last two seasons. It's finally hit that point for me, and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed about it. Not sure how long it's been this way, but just this season is when I've noticed that the episodes just aren't funny anymore. It's almost hard to watch...I still watch it because I've seen ever single episode, but watching it is like a chore.

I love Seth McFarlane too, but Family Guy...for a lot of people they got sick of it way before I did, but for me it's hit a pretty big low. American Dad I still love, although for some reason my DVR stopped recording the new ones. I don't know if they switched channels or what, but I have like two seasons worth to catch up on now.

Edit: Thinking about Family Guy, I think one of the things that makes me hate the show is the characters now. Peter is the biggest one, he used to be funny but now the way he's written is just annoying. I think the only characters I still like are Stewie and Brian, and even Brian has been ruined a bit.

Also, almost done with season one of Bojack Horseman. I like it quite a bit.

Has anyone watched The 100? Is it garbage? Because it looks like garbage.
