My idea to fix the Pro Bowl

Mighty NorCal

SHALL WE BEGIN?
The only way I feel to fix the Pro bowl, and bring back some slight interest is to go back to the old school....and have the super bowl champs Vs The NFL All Star team. this is how they used to do it in the 60s and 70s. I think it would be bitchin these days too. Obviously, the all star team cant have anyone from the SB team, and it is played the week AFTER the SB, in Hawaii, neutral feild. OR shit, the NFL is OH so obsessed with going global, make THIS game the London game. It doesn't cause a team to loose a home game, and teams wont bitch about it impacting their records. It dont stop at London, they could go anyplace really, Spain, Amsterdamn, France, Rio De Janero, werever.

the players get a free vacation, and there is a bit of prestige added to the game. What do you guys think? Surely it can't be worse than the current game, and I cant think of a better way for the guys to be interested in putting some effort into the game. Who cares if someone gets hurt, you have 7 months to heal. lulz.

I don't think it would work because I doubt the Super Bowl winning team that just finished playing the entire regular season plus 3-4 weeks in the playoffs would want to play another game. In the previous Pro Bowl format, before this year, the players who played in the SB and were elected to the Pro Bowl often didn't end up playing in the game. They either showed up and didn't dress or they just had one of the alternates take their place.

For this to work the Super Bowl winning team every year would have to want to play in this game and i just don't see that happening. Even if the NFL forced them to play the game if a guy like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Adrian Peterson, or any other big name player didn't want to play then the head coach would sit them and the game would be even more meaningless. I'd much rather have David Garrard leading the AFC against the NFC then a 39 year old Mark Brunell leading the Saints against a group of NFL all pros.

I really don't think that would work, sorry. I agree with the person that posted above me that the superbowl winning team definatley won't wanna play a meaningless game after playing 19-20 weeks of football. They just wanna go to DISNEYWORLD!!!

What I think the NFL should do to improve the pro bowl is make it like the NBA all star weekend. What I mean by this is that they could have competitions like farthest throw, farthest field goal, a 4 team, 4 men each team relay race with all the leagues running backs (admit u would watch that. Just get it over with.) I know the NFL would never do this in a million years, but I might as well suggest it.
