10 cuts is a lot, but the Redskins were 4-12, so it isn't like they cut winning ballplayers... Fred Smoot, Antwaan Randle El, Rock Cartwright. It's not like they cut Albert Haynesworth or something. Plus, this is a good thing, because the moves are being made by Shanahan and Bruce Allen.

The three big names to me are Griffin, Betts, and Thomas. That actually IS a big deal. We just lost Samuels and now another one of our OL. When Healthy, it was him and Thomas as THE people on our line. Griffin was a good DT, and Betts showed (Pre injry) he still had something left in the tank.

If you guys do get Peppers, good luck. As a Carolina fan since 95, I have followed Pep since his rookie year. When he brings his A-game, he is the best in the game right now. Too bad that he feels perfectly fine with coasting through plays, series, games, and, in the case of 2008, entire seasons...

None of those cuts truly mean anything. Unless the Skins can replace them with superior talent or highly promising prospects. AND they still don't have a QB.

Shanahan will end up drafting a QB. Probably Bradford, he seems like the type Big Mike would like.

Betts and Rock were, as was Griffin.

Will obviously be in the market for a new RB, unless he can turn Aldridge into something and with Griff gone its obvious how heavy will be with the 3-4 as he cannot fit in that style now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Skins pick up LT. They need another running back, and Snyder is a sucker for big name players. It makes sense to me.

Right, except Shanahan and Allen are now at the helm. Shanahan wouldn't have come here if he didn't have full control, and Allen is a crafty GM. Snyder also sits back when he has a talented HC, which is proven.
