The Roid Rage
Getting Noticed By Management
Since most of us live half our lives on the internet, I figured why not help influence that behavior further???!!! Obviously most of us are on here a lot, and I am sure we all have out things on the internet that we derive enjoyment from. For me it's web shows, shows that are only available online, aren't necessarily big budget, but are still entertaining. There's a lot of talented and just interesting people out there making loads of web content for our viewing pleasure, and I think it's about time to shed a little light on a few of my favorites.
The first show is probably the most popular, this guy has one of the best web-shows on the net, his angry rants on video games past are pretty well always good for a laugh, and you can't get that theme song out of your head. Yes folks, I am talking about none other than James Rolfe, The Angry Video Game Nerd, commonly referred to as AVGN. If you're not very familiar with AVGN or have maybe seen some of his game reviews you're only getting a fraction of the product. Mr. Rolfe does a lot more than game reviews, he actually reviews movies as well, board games, and has a library of his own short movies. If you are on the internet and feel like giving your fingers a break from flaming other users on WrestleZone, check out the AVGN on YouTube or Cinemasacre.com. Here is one of my favorite AVGN episodes for your viewing pleasure. One word, SuperMegaDeathChrist.

The next show on the line up is not too far off the beaten bath of the Angry Video Game Nerd, this Web Critic has actually had quite a bit of interaction with AVGN and they have done collaborative videos on more than one occasion. While this person doesn't review games, his specialty is really movies. He is also famous for his Top 11 countdowns. Why top eleven? Because he wants to go one step beyond. None other than The Nostalgia Critic, Doug Walker. Now you can view his videos on YouTube, but the best place to get all of his content and then some is at his main website thatguywiththeglasses.com. There you will also find a slew of others with their own web shows and a lot of them are actually not bad, see Linkara for some good stuff, but no one stands to The Nostalgia Critic. Here is one of my favorite reviews of his. In this review NC is working with Linkara and they both do the review.

The third and final web show is a YouTube exclusive I believe. I haven't noticed links to a main site or anything, but I know for sure they are based on Youtube. This isn't a review show, but it definitely answers some of the lingering questions in our mind, one particularly. Is it a good idea to Microwave this? There are tons and tons of these videos. Ever wonder what happens if you microwave a PS3? A lava lamp? Just about anything else? Take a look at these and find out if what is ok to microwave.
