Anyone who thinks AJ doesn't have charisma, can't play a character, or can't cut a promo has set such phenomenally high standards for what they think "charisma" is it's actually humorous. It's like if you aren't The Rock on the mic you fucking suck. AJ was a DAMN good heel, and not the comedy heel either, the cocky egotistical "I'm better than you and I'll fucking prove it to you right now" kind of heel. The return of that is going to be awesome now, especially with one of the greatest hype and promomen of all time in Ric Flair in his corner.

The problem is X is that AJ is being pushed as the face of TNA, with guy slike Hogan and Bischoff on air gushing over him as champion, which they should. But when you think of Franchise wrestlers, you think of guys like Flair and Sting in WCW, Hogan, Austin, Rock in the WWF, and hell, Shane Douglas in ECW. All of those absolutely owned on the mic.

Styles IS good, and I enjoy him, but he certainly needs a little more work with his delivery if he is going to be the face of the company on a bigger stage. He has all of the fine tools, and being partnered with Flair is only going to make him better. It's much like him being partnered with Christian, it helped him on the mic ten fold.

The one issue I have with AJ is his offense. It's designed to be used by a face and will get cheers because of it. It's like RVD's in a way, as it's so based in athleticism and high spots that fans cheer him no matter what. That's a problem.

I think there's going to be a difference in that though. I think as a heel he is going to make the crowd pop for the face by them doing high-impact moves on him. He did that during his heel runs but I think his offense would be toned down now.

And yet it's still roughly a thousand times better than the pathetic WWE tag team division, if you can even call it that. What are there a grand total of 3 tag teams on all 3 brands? TNA showed more teams in their first hour of Impact than is on the entire WWE roster.

Let's see here....last month's Final Resolution PPV saw two four star matches in the Angle/Wolfe and Styles/Daniels matches, and Angle and Styles had TWO four star matches in January alone.
