I used to think this place was different. Like...posters were intelligent folk who didn't just form opinions to be different or do what was cool at the time. I really thought that WZ was a kind of oasis in the cesspool that is the IWC. I thought the posters actually cared about the vast world that is professional wrestling...its history...the way its run...differences in territories...etc. I thought people cared about that stuff. I thought people did their homework. I thought I thought I thought I thought.

But for me, this place just took a giant leap backwards. How can a collective group of wrestling fans...fans who supposedly have been around for quite awhile...who supposedly know what makes wrestling entertaining and successful...how can this group...

SELECT EDGE AS A TOP 4 ALL-TIME WRESTLER????

It really baffles me. He shouldn't have beaten Raven. Anyone who knows anything about ECW knows this. Steamboat...I'll give him that. Lesnar...there is absolutely no way that Edge would defeat a prime Brock Lesnar. No way. It's absurd to even ponder that.

But the straw that broke the camel's back was when Edge received more votes than Stone Cold Steve Austin...probably the second most influential superstar in the history of the sport. I mean...we're talking Edge here. EDGE.

I don't care what Edge has done and what he hasn't done. You look at Austin's prime...and there is NO WAY that he is booked to lose to Edge. No way. O% chance. Yet...you all found him to be a double-digit winner.

Congratulations, WZ. You collectively lack a brain.

The same thing applies to Benoit beating Hulk Hogan. Hogan...the MOST influential star in the industry's history...would never while in his prime be booked to lose to Benoit. Never. It's common sense.

I've always been a pretty gentle poster around these parts, but you should expect to see a different side of Ricky. I am shocked and appalled at this activity, and the esteem in which I hold this place has been called into question.

This tournament and some of the arguments actually have made me a fan of Edge I use to hate him and always wanted him to lose. But some of the things argued about what he's done has really made me look at his career as a whole and notice he really is great. I always underrated him because I usually don't back heels. But the man has come so far and is still advancing his career as a current performer. It was because of the knowledgeable WZ that I became a fan of Edge so I myself respect them. Sorry you don't man. It's an online wrestling tournament it's not like Edge actually physically beat Austin so no need to get so worked up.
