Moose! Moose! Moose!

It's Damn Real!

The undisputed, undefeated TNA &
I gotta say, I really had Matt Taven pegged as the guy who Bennett would likely have brought in to help "burn TNA to the ground" given their history together with the Kingdom, but what a wonderful surprise to see fuckin' Moose debut, and debut with an impact like he did.

Carter being the one to ultimately close the show (and steal thunder from the Moose debut as a result) aside, this is a sizable get for TNA.

WWE's loss here is most definitely TNA's gain, especially given he's just 32. Frankly, they should count themselves lucky WWE managed to dig up enough dirt to pass, because it sure seemed Moose was NXT/WWE bound for certain before this.

Main page is reporting it's a two-year deal.

I absolutely LOVE Moose! He should thank his lucky stars. He will be a star in TNA if Dixie just allows it. WWE has Apollo Crews aka Uhaa Nation, so Moose was going to be redundant, whether or not he had anything against him. If TNA is going to move forward to the future, they need to hook their wagons to the back of Moose! Moose! MOOSE!!!

Moose was one of the things constantly drawing me in to watch ROH television when they were still on Destination America. I love his draw and all the intensity of his personality. The entrance is fun as fuck, too. His music hits and I'm already way into his match, well before the bell has even rung.

Moose to me is awkward all around. He is a big guy he just does not look like he is a big guy. Now, I do like the signing especially since he seems to have a big following currently. I also like how TNA seems to be high on Moose so a big push should be coming his way. As long as Moose can remain over, the better it will be for both parties. Great signing, TNA.

Why is it that WWE had to dig dirt for TNA to get this sign? Don't you think it's the possibility that being on international television instead of being sent to the developmental brand was enough to convince the monster to head to TNA? Don't you think it's the possibility that TNA simply offered more money? The average contract of a new NXT signee is 35k a year, which is barely above minimum wage. It's reported that Moose's contract is 75k/year which is more than double what WWE would've paid, plus Moose gets to work independents to make more money.

This is honestly a really really good signing from TNA. It's one that I've been looking forward to for a long while, and honestly, I hope TNA keeps plucking more and more talent from ROH.

I literally nutted when I saw Moose! I love that cat! Great signing for TNA. Now get Matt Taven when his legs heal up and you are really working with something.

I say put Moose and Lashley together and just let them wreak havoc! That would be must see tv.

I suppose if I watched ROH, I'd be pretty excited, but to me he's just another unknown that debuted on Impact. Judging by the reaction (at least on TV) nobody else really knew who he was either, nor cared.

He has a decent look, and size so perhaps there's potential. But Rob Terry also had the same look, and where's he been?

Was your TV on mute lol The whole Impact Zone was yelling out Moose! Moose! Moose! So there was a reaction from the crowd. It could just be possible that Matthew's loud annoying voice over powered the reaction. It was there though.

I doubt you even watched the segment. At best, you watched the little sniplet from the op. Nice try though.

I agree with what others said, he got a reaction. If he didn't, how did everyone know to go "MOOSE" with the arm pull if no one knew who he was.

I think this is a great signing for TNA, and as much as it sucked to have so many people I like leave in the past year or two, it is exciting to see some fresh talent and fresh faces for new feuds. ALSO, is this the longest TNA has went without a faction war in a decade? haha

Because name one free agent who both companies were interested in who TNA got by natural means.

The answer is no one. I love TNA, but even I understand they probably aren't even the second best option for wrestling free agents. They used to be. I'm not sure they really are anymore. Certainly not for the money, which has dried up compared to the kind of money given out in years past.

I'm glad they landed him. I'm ecstatic, frankly. But I'm also realistic, and I think this was probably Moose's second choice, even if TNA offered more per year.

If this was between '06 to '10, I would say TNA might have been Moose's first choice. The product was off the chains and Moose would have had a hell of a push right away. It would be worth it too. Moose vs Styles, Joe, Angle, Hardy, Sting, Abyss, Daniel's, just to name a few. Those matches would have been fun to see.

Nowadays TNA is probably a third option for some guys. NJPW to me seems to be a stronger company now more so than ever. Make a name internationally then come back to the states and make some serious money. WWE is clearly the first choice based off of the numbers of countries they broadcast in. My thing is this, guys leave TNA to sign to NxT to be labeled as "development stars" who magically learned how to wrestle in X amount of time. This to me seems like a downgrade and for myself, I would go with another option such as NJPW or TNA. Money aside, they both are going to pay more than being in NxT.

Well, the chorus of his theme song shouting "MOOSE" over and over and Moose pulling his arm down in time with the chant probably helped with that. I've never seen or heard of Moose prior to this and even I figured out how a Moose chant works within seconds of him appearing. It's pretty easy to pick up on.

Good for TNA though. Hope they use him properly as he seems like a hoss.

Am I the only one who noticed that he used the Rainmaker (short arm clothesline) to take out Lashley, I read somewhere that might be his new finish.
I am not sure though.

And, WWE never really wanted Moose to begin with. If you remember correctly, they wanted him to be a ringer in Tough Enough and possibly win a contract. He went to RoH instead. He probably saw what WWE was offering him, and decided to jump to TNA. Look what WWE is doing with Apollo Crews? Moose is very similar in style to Crews. So, he probably figgered that WWE was not going to know what to do with him. Hence, he goes to TNA.

Reports seem different in regards to them not wanting Moone this time around. Moose is over and WWE needs stars or more known wrestling names. I truly think with the alleged charges Moose has held him back. Him being green in the ring is possible why WWE needs him I NOT.

As far as Apollo Crews and Moose having a similar style, I simply do not see it. Two different ring styles all around.

Moose in TNA works since they push black stars more so than the WWE for the WHC. This is good for his future and resume no matter where he goes if he leaves TNA.

I just don't see the big deal with Moose? He's not a great wrestler, and he's not a great talker. What is it that people like about him? I will say though, he has a great entrance.

Are you serious? Next time Moose wrestles, look between his legs and see the print of his "package." I saw him wrestle live in Bmore and I swear he's hung like a horse....eh...moose. That's why they call him Moose. If he weren't wrestling, he would have a career in porn for sure.

I was wondering how Moose was able to bring his music from ROH to TNA, and found out he owns the song which is cool, it is a great beat! It has the beat of being someone special and his hand gesture and "Moose" chant in the song will get him easily over.
