Money in The Bank Stipulations..

So the WWE Championship MiTB is set with the stipulation that "Only previous WWE Champions can take part", which to me is strange. We've got so far;

• John Cena
• Kane
• Big Show
• Chris Jericho

Now, if former WWE Champs are the only people allowed to take part, this leaves us a dilemma. Obviously, only four men could be in this match, so who else is there?

• Rey Mysterio
• Alberto Del Rio
• Sheamus
• Vince McMahon(?)
• The Miz

Now, Berty has a WHC Match on Smackdown this Friday against Sheamus/Ziggler. IF (I hope he does) Ziggler wins it, it would mean Sheamus & Del Rio could both enter the MiTB, meaning we'd have at least 6 men in it.

Miz is pretty much a no unless he turns up before the PPV, as he's filming The Marine 3. Obviously McMahon is a joke.

Mysterio's suspension has recently ended, he's a good idea actually.

So we're looking at (possibly) a 6-Man MiTB, probably less. That to me is just... BLEH.

So what about the World Heavyweight Championship? I think we should reverse the Stipulation. Only people who HAVEN'T been the World Heavyweight Champion should be allowed in this one, meaning we'd be guaranteed a new contender. We could have;

• Cody Rhodes
• Sin Cara (Spot monkey duh)
• Ryback (Use him, but don't let him win?)
• Wade Barrett (Have him return ASAP)
• Brodus Clay
• Damien Sandow
• Justin Gabriel/Heath Slater

You can see what I'm getting at. Make it look a bit more like anyone's got a shot, even though REAAAAAALLY, we'd all call Rhodes to win it. Maybe Ryback is our surprise. Could be interesting.

Actually, it seems more people around here have a hardon for Wade Barrett. If he returned to fight in the match, I'd be inclined to think more people would put their money on him. However, I think Rhodes is in a better position to win it. His current feud with Christian is simply to try and get his IC Title back and hasn't been emphasized that much. If he got entered in the match, the briefcase would be an easy out of that feud.

Granted, all this depends on their stipulation for the WHC MITB match...

Why?! Because 8 guys is OVERKILL. Especially when it's twice in one night. Not to mention that would make this MITB the most star-studded since the WM23 one.

I get your point, but I'd still opt for 6 over 4. Just makes me feel like Cena & Big Show wouldn't even really be that involved or interesting, Kane is just... why? Leaving just Jericho for me to focus on.

I hope it stays with only 4 guys. 8 is WAY too many and always has been, and you can't do 6 since Del Rio will likely be Sheamus' filler challenger. If it's the same stipulation for SmackDown! I could see Ziggler, Swagger, Christian, and possibly Mysterio while like I said, Del Rio goes after Sheamus.

1) There is a fifth member to be added, WWE.com confirmed it.

2) Ziggler won't become Champion. If they do that, his current good form would derail and fans would turn on him, then when he loses the belt he'll slowly fall into obscurity because there will be no reason to cheer for him.

3) If there are five to enter the WWE Championship, five will enter the World Heavyweight Championship. I believe the newcomers to the World Heavyweight title idea is what they're going with, and God can only hope they give it to Wade Barrett, especially considering with Rhodes' recent attack on Christian I assume they've unfinished business.

If there's a 5th it should be Mysterio.

The match needs a small guy to balance the dynamic, having Show & Kane guarantees that it won't be the most exciting bout in terms of ladder matches.

The main issue that's annoying me though is the ages of the competitors. Even with Mysterio injected into the match, the youngest would be Cena at 35, and ladder matches tend to be a young man's game. So while there's the star power, we're not going to have a spotfest, which is what MitB is renowned for.

Is this limited to guys who held the title post original brand split?

If not, what about the guys that are not technically on the current roster? I don't smell a Rock return for this but if they gave him the case it would create some serious questions and fulfill his promise that he would be coming for the title. Plus, he has the least to lose if he loses cashing in.

How about Foley, HHH or Lesnar (I can't remember what title he held)?

Who else not on the roster could still perform adequately enough?

We already know 5 of the competitors for the SD MitB, but from what I understand there will also be qualifying matches on NEXT WEEK'S Live Smackdown on Tuesday. That tells me that they're going to probably jack it up to 8, which also means they're most likely going to do the same to Raw. Add Mysterio, Del Rio, and The Miz for 7, and they could go with a special appearance for the 8th slot from anybody ranging from The Rock to Brock Lesnar to Triple H, even Taker (we know he's showing up July 23rd), Vince or Foley.
