I hope we can keep the thread in The Sports Arena in light of the relaxed spam rules. Maybe it would increase the participation level?
If it's not kosher, I understand.

Welcome to the UFC Prediction Contest Season Six thread!
Champion History:
Season 1 - Yazloz
Season 2 - Fizzy
Season 3 - Fizzy
Season 4 - Crock
Season 5 - MediumRare
We will predict the main card for each card in this thread, and usually one or two prelims, sometimes more depending on whether or not there are good fights. We'll keep it all in here, and be able to discuss the contest as it goes on. The winner of the "Season" will be the champion (the winner will have the most cumulative points.)
Also, don't be afraid to jump in each season in progress. Case in point: The Best scored zero on the first card we predicted, and he wound up being in second place going into the last card when it was all said and done. All it takes is nailing a couple of cards (or in his case, even one) to be "In the Mix".
Season Six will have us predicting the following cards:
1/12 - Strikeforce - Marquardt vs. Saffiedine
1/17 - Bellator 85 (SPIKE TV DEBUT) - Two Title Fights
1/19 - UFC on FX - Belfort vs. Bisping
1/24 - Bellator 86 - Askren vs. Amoussou
1/26 - UFC on FOX - Johnson vs. Dodson
1/31 - Bellator 87 - Lightweight Tourney Opening Round
2/2 - UFC 156 - Aldo vs. Edgar
Scoring will be as follows:
2 Points for predicting a correct winner
1 Point for predicting correct method of victory (T/KO, Submission, or Decision)
1 Point for predicting correct round (or decision).
Tiebreaker for guessing Fight of the Night/Submission of the Night/KO of the Night correctly (In which one additional point will be issued)
If you do not guess the winner correctly, you obviously do not get awarded any bonus points.
Example of a Correct Prediction:
Junior Dos Santos vs. Frank Mir: KO Round 2
Tallies are per event. Whoever has the most points at the end of the season is the champion. You can only edit your picks for only up to 10 minutes after they are made, and picks made after the deadline of WHENEVER THE PRELIMS START WILL NOT COUNT.
Please bold the name of your winner in order to make scoring these easier.
If you have any questions, please let me know... hopefully this is self-explanatory.
If it's not kosher, I understand.
