He was a damn good fighter. He was constantly fighting top level fighters during his career and he managed to hold the middleweight title during his career. He lost his last two fights before he died last year. His MMA record was 32-8.

He's one six fights in a row and is one of the best lightweights today. He has notable wins over Joe Stevenson and Roger Huerta. He'll be fighting for the LW title in a few months against BJ Penn. His current record is 11-3.
