Will there ever be a character that could ever be as good as mean gene. Mean gene was so good at putting over talent with their promos and really helped establish talent imo. We rarely get a backstage interview, that was so constant back in the day. It really helped elevate storylines and seems today that is whats lacking, he almost always added fire to a needed storyline and he knew when a guy couldn't cut a good promo and almost walked guys through one.
If a guy was around like today, would that help mid card belts and the champ would get to voice his opinion more, or is it to old school style.
