Personally, I don't mind watching Mickie. I know she isn't the best athlete (by far), but she's at least over with the crowd (I was there at WM22 when she was overwhelmingly cheered over Trish, even as a heel), so I can only guess if they pursue this, they're trying to pair together two faces, instead of the usual two heels (see Burchills as of right now). What might not have been a bad idea, and what I thought was going to happen before the Paul/Kennedy angle, was a Katie + Paul vs Mickie + Cena deal. Of course, it seems Cena is once again going to get (at least one) title shot, so I doubt that'll happen, and with the rumor that Mickie is leaving Raw, I doubt that'll ever happen. Who knows? Maybe she'll stay, Cena will lose (I can only hope), and maybe they will push that. Seems odd to build it up via promos, then drop it altogether, but then again it wouldn't exactly be the first time...

Gets him more over actually..being paired with the most popular diva. Alot of things have been subtly done for people to boo Cena less. Keeping him off TV for a few weeks, not immediately putting him in the title hunt after Backlash etc.

What might be interesting is if they actually go along with this story line and Mickie Starts to get some boos and you could possibly turn her heel.

You could even have Mickie go back to the crazy jealous character she portrayed with the whole Angle with Trish a while back.
Either way I find it entertaining.

With Orton injured and Regal suspended and Umaga and JBL losing their last few matches, there isn't one heel on Raw who can be taken seriously at this point. Hopefully, this storyline with Mickie leads to a heel turn for Cena.
But, it wouldn't surprise me if they're put together just so Trips can attack her during his feud with Cena, giving him enough heat to turn heel. In fact, thinking about it, I don't see WWE going any other way than this. Trips will attack Mickie, go heel, and the relationship between Mickie and Cena will never be brought up again once she returns from her injury. WWE usually looks for the laziest ways to do something, and then tries their hardest to make sure we forget it all happened a few months down the line. What a piece of shit writing team they have.

I guess I'm in a major minority, but I like Mickie (she's cute in a "real woman" way, not hot to the point of fakeness, a la Torrie) and Cena does not annoy me. I enjoy his mic work, and I don't hate on his in ring skills (he at least understands psychology and loves his job). It's not a terrible pairing.

Seems like the most likely conclusion to me. Just a way for them to put heat on Trips so he can turn heel again against a face Cena. So many other ways to bring heat on trips and they'll most likely go with the cheapest way they can.

I would take Mickie James any day.She is F'n HOT.I would take that piece of ass anyday.With that being said,I think this angle will work,but WWE will probally have Mickie get the Pedigree from the Game to draw heel heat.But then again,I haven't seen that for over a year I believe.It is a lil fresh.I guess whatever they do they do.I just wish I was on the creative team.But I think John/Mickie could go some where.There are many possbilities with this angle.
