Michael McGillicutty's new stable

It looks like Michael McGillicutty has a new stable. I think it's gonna be called The Genesis and would have McGillicutty, Lucky Cannon, Percy Watson, Eli Cottonwood, Husky Harris, Alex Riley, and Titus O'Neil.

If they are going to invade Smackdown, they could be or look like Nexus 2.0

I sort of hope it happens because its a shame that all that is coming from NXT season 2 is one boring star in Kaval. That said, they can't keep fucking doing this. It defeats the point of the competition altogether.

A NXT stable for Raw & Smackdon sounds pretty cool to me. Hopefully it's a grand plan for the two to take over WWE.

Awesome – even more reason not to watch. Now the WWE will be even more infiltrated and infested with no-personality mid-card hacks parading as main-event caliber performers. :disappointed:

:lmao:

Did you just try and say Alex Riley, Percy Watson, and Husky Harris have no personality?!

Give me established headliners feuding with very green rookies over already overexposed feuds between those same established headliners any day.

Lucky Cannon actually showed some improvement on the mic yesterday to me and so did McGillicutty. I personally think Riley should lead this group IF it happens and it would give SD a much needed freshener as the show moves to SyFy. I don't buy Percy or Titus as heels yet though.

Nope. Some of the "NXT rookies" have personalities, but few have Type-A personalities, which is the type required to be a successful pro-wrestling character if history has anything to say about this.

Modern history would say that's no longer the case.

Burden of proof is on you. Prove it.

Oh, and before you jump on any loopholes here, when I say "success", I don't mean marginal success – I mean that having a Type-A personality is a prerequisite for stardom.

McGillicutty was hilariously awful in everything he did on the mic yesterday.

THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE GENESIS THE START OF MICHAEL THE GENESIS MCGILLICUTTY

I would beg to differ as he ripped Kaval quite nicely and didn't look out of place for once in talking. I'm not saying he's good but he has shown great improvement.

I really don't think he ripped Kaval nicely at all. It was really embarrassing, like watching a guy try and insult someone but sucking at comebacks.

Actually, Jake, don't bother. I'll create a thread on this. If we're going to have a deep-seeded discussion like this, may as well have it in the main section so everyone else can enjoy or participate as well.

The LayCool mothers line was good and the wetsuit one too. I think he didn't need to go to that deep voice but he was definitely showing some improvement to me. Kaval just overshowed him.

I actually think that McGillicutty has gradually gone backwards throughout the season, while Alex Riley stagnated a bit too. Both stood out early on as somewhat well-rounded performers but neither has improved much. McGillicutty was exposed as one-dimensional once he lost his perfect record while Riley has had no real opportunity to showcase himself as he has been caught in the shadow of the Miz.

On the other hand, Kaval has actually added or been allowed to showcase some promo ability to his undoubted in-ring skills.

Have I been roped into something I don't want to do? Bollocks, I have, haven't I!
