If anyone thinks Jerry Lawler sucks, just remember his glory days and then you wont think he sucks. the PG era is making his jokes more family friendly, he no longer says "puppies" anymore, i think he did a good job yesterday making fun of Cole whenever Cole got a big head and they should do that more, have King make fun of Cole if he acts up, for example, whenever he calls Bryan a nerd, King should remind him of what past wrestlers did to him.

thats all lawler does is try and clown on cole. he hardly calls the match. I know its not his fault he isn't the way he use to be on commentary But he could atleast try and call the match like cole does. Cole calls the matches well and hates on ppl.

Michael Cole only problem is he rides miz to much.

Other than that michael cole is whats up!

Mike Cole is the man. Like he said..."He is the voice of the WWE".

You don't have to like it. But there it is. JR can no longer do the job.

You see, the problem with the majority of Cole haters is that they live in the past. JR is the past. King is the past. I would put money down that they are the same people who cannot stop talking about Rock and Austin or how PG sucks, or how Cena and only Cena has 5 moves, or how the Cruiserweight Title should be reinstated, or how 44 year old Bill Goldberg needs an automatic title shot, or that Christian is main event material.

You guys need to pick up your pants from around your ankles, hike them up, and act like a big boy and move on.

Color commentators in the WWE have always been ex-wrestlers. Lawler stinks at color commentating. Color commentators provide expert analysis and background information. Does he do that? No he does not. That is what Matt Striker does and does very well. Whomever said it before was right...Jerry Lawler checked out a long time ago. As for his glory days, they ended in the early 90s. It's 2010.

Move on. Mike Cole is a dynamic personality. He doesn't stumble when he speaks, he looks comfortable, and sounds passionate when he speaks. Doesn't matter if you hate him or love him. He is good at what he does and you will hear his voice for a looooooooong time.

Agreed, Dude everything is so true! only thing i can honestly hate about striker is his voice. he does a decen't job i just can't stand his voice.

But its impossible for some ppl to move away from JR for some reason, Its impossible for ppl to accept change. Michael Cole will be on raw for time to come. Get use to it. JR will never be back at that desk with lawler and you'll never here "puppies" from lawler again or Bygawd from JR.

I have to say it, and I could probably get some slack for this, but I absolutely love Michael Cole. He's entertained me recently with his heel turn, but last night I honestly could not start laughing when he was on the podium being the 'voice of the WWE'. Everything about him, from his bitching about Daniel Bryan, loving of Miz, even his 'Coleminers' just entertain me. I also really love him on NXT; the dynamic between him and Josh is great and I often find myself intently listening to their commentary and not the Diva 'matches' on the show.

Nobody will ever place JR, just like Miz is not the new Rock, but Michael Cole is very entertaining in his own right and should be regarded as Michael Cole, not 'OMFGNOTJIMROSSS!MALFUNTION!'
