Meltdown 51/Ascension 26 Preview

Phoenix

WZCW's First Triple Crown Champion
As the dust settings from the Lethal Lottery, one man has set his path towards the Main Event, that man is Showtime Cougar, who will be challenging the Champion Ty Burna for the World Heavyweight Championship. They are scheduled to have a contract signing on Ascension this coming week, but the night before they will be in competitive action and they've brought a few friends with them.

For the Main Event of Meltdown 51, we will see these two be on opposing sides as they will compete in a six man tag, with Ty teaming up with Big Dave and Barbosa while Showtime will ally up with Everest and Gordito. All six of these men had real tight encounters at the pay per view and they will be looking to let off a little bit of steam since the events that occurred between them.

Meltdown will continue to see some fall out of the Lottery as two competitors who made their presence felt will collide as Hunter Kravinoff will take on Constantine in a one fall bout, despite coming up short, both men are eager to keep a winning momentum as we get closer to Kingdom Come. EurAsian Championship Chris Beckford had a hard fought match against Dr. Alhazred but still remains the champion, this week, he will compete against one of the contenders who missed out of a shot, that man being Brad Bomb, expect another tight encounter!

Former Mayhem Champion Ferbian will take some R&R from the division as he will compete against Phoenix, the man who eliminated Celeste Crimson from the Lottery but fell short much like 18 of the other competitors while on the other side of the equation, Sam Smith gets a renewed title shot based on his efforts in the Lottery, taking on the new champion Chris Jones, how will the two time champion fare on his first defence? Also in action is New Tag Champion Scott Hammond facing off against young rookie James King, what will the newcomer learn in his bout against the champion?

Ascension will see two of the final four competitors compete as Baez and Blade will look to continue on the positives they had out of the Lottery and make their presence felt further in what should nothing short of a spectacular match. Two other notable Lottery competitors will face off with Austin Reynolds facing off against Mr. Baller, it has been noted that Reynolds has been put on Ascension deliberately to keep him away from Showtime and Constantine after what occurred last Sunday.

Another outstanding Lottery competitor in the form of Michael Winters will take on former Tag Champion Dr. Steven Kurtesy, the good doctor will want to help maintain good composure after losing the belt at the pay per view. His fellow team mates Steven Holmes & Doug Crashin will team up for the first time in a good while to take on what has been announced as a surprise alliance of Jordan Lights & DK Wilton, two competitors who requested a tag bout to challenge the division.

Speaking of the Tag Division, the other half of the Champions Wasabi Toyota will compete against Dr. Alhazred in a one on one match, after coming so close against the EurAsian Champion, how will the newcomer do in his second match against another champion? Former Motor City Psycho member Alex Bowen will be in singles action against Justin Cooper to compete the matches awaiting to show on The Network. It has also been announced that an upcoming House Show will feature some new competitors who will trial out for a contract this week, the names of the competitors have yet to be revealed.

That's all the news we have for the upcoming shows that will air soon on The WZCW Network, until then, stay tuned.
