Phoenix

WZCW's First Triple Crown Champion
After what were two explosive episodes of Meltdown and Ascension, things continue to heat up here in the WZCW. Firstly to the important matter, the Gold Rush Tournament will be commencing the Second Round/Semi Finals this week where the first match on Meltdown will be Everest taking on Phoenix, after close matches in the previous rounds, don't expect either men to hold up as they look to reach the final, getting one step closer to the World Heavyweight Championship shot at All or Nothing. On Ascension, the other fixture will see Gordito taking on Chris Beckford and Constantine, this triple threat match was made due to Beckford and Constantine finishing in a double countout and no clear winner was made known, will the addition of Gordito make things different?

Speaking of the World Championship, Ty Burna made an appearance after Everest's match with Dr. Steven Kurtesy when the Crashin Movement tried to take out the former Champion until Ty assisted the cause, leaving Kurtesy flat out in the ring. These two will face off this week in a match where the Crashin Movement is banned from ringside. While on the subject of the Crashin Movement, Doug Crashin has been cleared to wrestle this week and will take on the returning Blade who is back in action since the First Blood match with Phoenix from All or Nothing, hopefully the layoffs won't have affected either men greatly. The other member of the Crashin Movement, Steven Holmes has found himself tied up to the Mayhem Championship once again as he has been granted a title shot against the new Champion Chris Jones, however this title match is under triple threat rules with Wilhelm Wunderbar being added to the mix.

Former Mayhem Champion Baez finds himself in the ring this week against the former EurAsian Champion Big Dave who snapped during last week's episode of Meltdown as he was removed from the Gold Rush Tournament due to his decision to vacate the EurAsian Championship. How will the former champions fare against each other, despite Baez's experience with Mayhem, will this be just routine for him? Despite no news regarding the EurAsian Championship, the Elite X Champion Austin Reynolds takes on Showtime Cougar who crashed out of the tournament last week and wasn't in a good mood. These two collide in the ring, will this be about the wrestling or something more developing with the Show host?

Despite requestin a match with the Crashin Movement, Brothers in Arms find themselves against the Tag Team Champions Reckless Youth in a non-title bout. Will B.I.A's focus be on trying to recapture the gold or on the troublesome threesome? Speaking of rivalries coming to pass Mr. Baller returned last week to the WZCW and has been granted a match against Jordan Lights, his rival and the man who cost him his Tag Team Championship as well as his job, these two will finally meet for the first time, will this be a on off encounter or is there more to come from these two? Mark Hancock will take on his former partner Matt Fox after the team imploded last week against the Tag Champions, who will make their claim as the superior team member?

Last week, we saw eight new aquisitions join the WZCW Roster, the stand out star being Michael Winters who won the Contract Battle Royale, he's got his debut match set against another contract winner in the form of Барбоса will Winter prove he's a fixed feature in the company or is Барбоса ready to show that he's a different ball game? The other six newcomers will contest in a Six-Man Tag Match with Bud Dakota, Ferbian & Brad Bomb teaming up to take on Hays, Justin Cooper & Sam Smith. These guys proved themselves in a Battle Royale, who will make their presence felt in a bout?

Lastly, the four Development Roster members who didn't get their contract have another chance to this week as they'll be appearing at House Show 7 in individual bouts to show off their ring skill as DK Wilton takes on Zakk Falcon and John Watson faces Jalapeño.

It's an exciting time to in the WZCW as the New Era continues to open upon us, don't miss out!
