It's the day of Meltdown, and Logan McAllister is seen arriving extremely early to the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO, site of tonight's event. He looks as if he is fresh from the gym, some beads of sweat still glistening across his forehead. It's been quite a disappointing few months for him, as for whatever reason, Logan has been stuck in a rut. He's nowhere near where he believes he should be, yet in the end, the only one to blame is himself. Logan walks through the arena, eventually taking a seat ringside as he watches the crew assembling the ring.

Logan is just watching the men as he begins to think over his inconsistent career. Debut versus a most likely future Hall of Famer in Mikey Stormrage, only to then struggle for weeks to get his first victory. Logan could claim victories over the ruthless Dorian Slaughter, the savvy vet James Howard and others, yet everytime he snatches one of these high profile wins, Logan can't seem to follow up and build upon the momentum.

Logan runs his fingers through his hair, contemplating his future as a wrestler. Due to his recent situation, Logan hasn't spoken much to his fiancee or to his son. Whenever they call, he just says he's busy training, though in actuality he doesn't know what to say to his family. He made them stay at home in Boston so that he could focus on his career, and instead he's been just wasting time, not giving his all.

As Logan sits lost in thought, WZCW interviewer
Leon Kensworth approaches, attempting to get a quick word with the seemingly lost father.

Leon: Excuse me, Logan? Care if I ask you a few questions? We're kinda the only people here at the moment besides the ring crew, so we might as well do something right?

Logan looks up from his seat at Leon, before motioning for him to sit.

Logan: Sure Leon, though I don't really feel much for a Q&A session right now.

Leon: That's fine, I'll simply ask you just this one thing. Are you prepared for tonight's Deadwood match? There hasn't been one in quite some time, and the threat of termination hangs in the air tonight. Thoughts?

Logan: Damn Leon, straight to it huh? Well fuck it, I'll answah it for ya. Am I ready? For the first time in quite a long time, I can actually say yes I am. I'm not gonna focus on the past anymore, or what could have been. The reason Logan McAllistah is in this situation is because of Logan, and only Logan. I've been going through some things these past few months, and no I don't care to explain, before you staht to ask. Bottom line is my head wasn't right, and it hadn't been evah since I was cashed in on during the Lethal Lottahry. Some might say I was angry, othas that I was upset that that was allowed during the actual Lottahry match. Then you have othas who would probably say that I was performing above my station, and so it shouldn't have been a surprise that I didn't make it out as the champ. In actuality, it's probably a combination of the three. I let that night haunt me, and in turn it has led me down this road. A Deadwood match. I know this is not a match any wrestlah should be excited to be in, yet you know what Leon? I'm beyond fucking excited. For me this is the first real thing to interest me since that fateful night. I can admit that I needed something like this to wake me up from the haze I've been in for far too long. I am NOT some Armando Paradyse, or a Preston Cunningham, or any wrestler that either is seen as a joke, or that disappears out of nowhere. I am Logan McAllistah and it's high time I staht living up to all this potential I've been told I have.

Leon takes a moment, feeling the emotion as Logan essentially is letting everything out that he'd been holding inside. Leon knows that a focused Logan is a very dangerous thing. He's seen it. Everytime someone attempts to write Logan off, he steps up. Leon decides to toss out another question, feeling that Logan has more he wants to say.

Leon: Wow Logan, that's some pretty insightful stuff. I do have a follow up question for you though. What about your opponent? Bandit is bit of an unknown commodity here.

Logan: Yeah, he's so unknown that he's already in this type of a match, what a month into his careah? I'm not saying that he's not a threat, because on any given day anyone can have their shouldahs pinned to the mat. Yet all Bandit is to me, is the first person I have to go through in ordah to restoah my standing in this company. So I will go out there, and I am going to hurt him. If WZCW wants to see me fight for my job, then they bettah damn sure have the medical staff on hand. When I see Bandit, what I'm really seeing is the shell of myself that's been masquerading as me since before Kingdom Come. Tonight I will destroy that mirage, and if that means I send Bandit to the local hospital then so be it. I want championships Leon. I want every single one that this company has, and I know that unless I focus and show WZCW what I'm capable of, I won't evah get even a whiff at a title. What I really hope for more than anything is that Titus still has his belt by the time I prove myself to management. That's the belt everyone here should want. But Leon, I'm sure there's plenty of people that'll watch this and think that it's just typical Logan, spouting off at the mouth before he walks to the ring and backs up nothing. So to that I say, WATCH ME WZCW. Watch as I destroy Bandit and begin my own personal redemption story. I'm done talking.

Logan stands up, and without another word begins walking back to his locker room. If Logan can't beat this Bandit, maybe WZCW is right to want to terminate his contract.
