Melissa Anderson (Alissa Flash) is a free agent-- could you see her in the WWE?

Getting Noticed By Management
Recent reports have Melissa Anderson being released from her TNA contract. Would this be a female wrestler that VKM may be interested in? She is a fantastic in-ring worker- & looking at her work as Kong mouthpiece...shes good on the mic also. Shes good looking and isnt overweight. But is she good enough for VKM?

It would be pretty much gauranteed: that she would be a positive addition to the Divas roster...But would Vince have her? OR- would she even be interested in becoming a "Diva"?

I really have NO CLUE! Thats why Im asking you all...

Is she good enough for WWE and Vince?Of course she is! True Alissa might not be as hot as Mayrse or Melina, but she sure is better in the ring than both of them, and has the potential to have an interesting character in WWE. It really doesn't take all that much to be considered an elite WWE diva, so I don't see a problem there.

I don't know if she would be interested in going to the WWE, seeing as she's pretty popular on the indy scene. Anyone who can be three people, and do a damn good job of pulling off all three personalties, could surely make it the WWE women's division.Another thing you have to remember is, not too many people know about Anderson outside of die hard wrestling fans and the IWC, so I'm not sure her arrival would be such a big deal.

At the same time, I have this horrible feeling deep down inside that if she were to go to WWE, then they would not use her right, and she would just fit in with the other divas. There's a slim chance this wouldn't happen....a very slim chance. Look at Gail Kim. She was a top the Knockout's division in TNA, but ever since she came to WWE, she's just sort of blended in.

She is definitely good enough to be in the WWE. She has the looks it takes to become a WWE Diva and she has amazing wrestling skills which would probably be wasted in the WWE. But she still has everything it takes to become a diva nonetheless. The only problem she might have is that she is a little thicker than other divas but she still looks completely normal.

Another problem besides not looking as skinny as Vince wants the divas to look is that she likes having creative freedom with everything she does according to a report which I can’t find now. Anyways, if she were to join WWE she wouldn’t be allowed to do what she wants in her matches and she probably wouldn’t have creative freedom over her character which is a downside for her.

She’s definitely good enough to be in the WWE but I don’t think she wants to join them seeing as how the divas division is a joke and they wouldn’t use her correctly which is a shame. She’s beautiful and has great wrestling skills so hopefully TNA realizes they made a mistake by letting her go and decide to bring her back because she’s better off with TNA than she is in the joke that is the divas division in the WWE.

I couldn't, at least not right now, anyway. It really takes a special person with below average intelligence to say that Melissa wouldn't make it in the WWE because she isn't pretty enough, or that she couldn't work WWE's style.

The fact that women like Beth Phoenix, Nattie Neidhart, and Jillian Hall even have jobs with the WWE is proof that they aren't hiring soley for looks.

Melissa is the type of performer who enjoys having autonomy with decisions and input regarding her character and feuds. In a promotion like SHIMMER, Melissa has creative freedom over her character, feuds, angles, promos, and matches. If she were to go to WWE, she'd lose all these freedoms; and would not be a happy camper if WWE stradles her with a dead end gimmick, with no chance of character growth.

That may have been one of the reasons as to why she left TNA.

I agree completely with HHHKING13. As much as I'd like to see Alissa Flash in WWE.... I too have a bad feeling that she would not be used correctly. Also, not enough people would be familiar with her for her debut to be as big as someone with her talent deserves. She also doesn't really have the look that most divas do. She's beautiful, but still lacks that certain look that nearly all of the WWE divas have. Unfortunately Flash would not fit in. I'd really enjoy seeing her in the WWE.... but she is better off being a free agent for now because she runs the risk of being used in a terrible role if she became a WWE diva. I'd much rather see her return to TNA in the future, I hope she does well wherever she goes though.

First off, any time a pro-wrestler jumps into another promotion, there is always the risk of them beiong utilized incorrectly... especially in the WWE. Vince has a track record of making "jumped" talent pay their dues before jumping into the big picture of his promotion. But this doesn't necessarily answer the question as to whether she would be suitable for the WWE.

Her beauty, skill, and personality is exactly what the WWE is lacking in the Divas division. I've personally seen her wrestle live and trust me, the bitch knows how to throw down. Granted, she's not a beanpole and wouldn't win any beauty pageants (this isn't a knock on her looks. I feel she's beautiful, but she's no barbie doll) but I feel that she can offer a lot of depth in the Divas division as a credible wrestler. This term is almost a foregone conclusion in the Divas division, since the focal point has been on beauty and athleticism as opposed to actual wrestling skill.

Alissa Flash would be a breath of fresh air in the WWE. Even if she isn't "used properly", she'd be a great stepping stone for divas such as Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, and Gail Kim. A win over a woman with the looks and skills of Alissa Flash would convince the audience that the winner is a credible wrestler, thus increasing their "personal stock" and making them more believable in a Divas world full of barbie dolls and sloppy wrestling. Plus, Alissa could be an incredible mentor for the Divas lacking the in-ring skills that Finaly has been unable to rub off onto the women, and it clearly shows.

Yeah, I see what you mean. It's just that I'm a big fan of her Alissa Flash character and would hate to see her be stuck with a terrible gimmick or a storyline that no one cares about. Does she have the in-ring ability and charisma to make in the WWE? Absolutely! She could quickly dethrone Michelle as the top heel. I just have a bad feeling though that Vince wouldn't push her.

I think she's beautiful as well, and more talented than the entire female roster in WWE except a couple of the Smackdown divas. Unfortunately they don't get pushed for in-ring ability nearly as much in WWE as in TNA. WWE could use more divas who are just as good at wrestling as they are at looking attractive, and Flash could pull that off.... if given the chance. I'd root for her no matter what gimmick they give her because she could make a big difference in the divas division, the question remains though if she'd be pushed or not. Vince might think she lacks the look he wants.

This is the part I somewhat disagreed on. As much as I like Kelly and Eve, they wouldn't deserve a push above Flash in my opinion because in terms of in-ring ability and mic skills they are still in training compared to her. Not that a memorable win for Kelly/Eve over Flash wouldn't be a great moment, because it would, I just think she'd deserve a push before them if she were to join the WWE anytime soon. I do agree with your suggestion of her being a mentor to some of the divas, she could teach them a lot and help them improve to where they are near her level.

Like I said though.... I'd root for her no matter what gimmick they give her because I really enjoyed her time in TNA and know she'd be beneficial to the division if they gave her a chance to do so. I suppose we'll never know about her push (or lack of one) being an issue or not unless she really does join WWE, which I doubt at the moment.
