While on Meltdown, it's been announced that Steamboat Ricky, Carmen Bratchny and Ty Burna will face off in a Triple Threat Match in the Main Event.
With the new Elite X and EurAsian Leagues starting off this week, Vance Bateman has lifted the Elite X restriction off of new Elite X Champion Frankie Smith so he can face EurAsian Champion Showtime Cougar on Meltdown in a special Champion vs. Champion Match. The EurAsian League will see the matches of Big Dave vs. Scott Hammond and Blade vs. Sanna, while Trevor Steel vs. Ace David and Zander vs. USA will kick off the Elite X League and Chris Beckford vs. Karnage will face off in a League Two Pointer Match to complete the first week of the Leagues.
The First Round of the Tag Team Tournamnet will also commence this week with Second Coming taking on the team of Corey Payne & Byakko with Tag Champion William Teach officating on Meltdown, while Corey Bowen & Obisidius will take on Max Karzai & Jordan Lights will face off on Ascension with Dr. Steve Kurtesy being in charge of that encounter. The winners of both matches meet next week for the No. 1 Contendership at Kingdom Come.
Speaking of Kingdom Come, the first Qualifying Match for the King For A Day Elimination Chamber Match will commence on Ascension with Rush taking on the wrestling royalty of Matt Royale.
