Matt Striker: The next Val Venis?

Meaning that he should be the next wrestler to be strapped with a porn star gimmick. If you dont know, Matt Striker has apparently taken cell phone pics of his penis. Now most guys were prolly like "Ewwww" But I'd say a lot of ladies were prolly going "Mhmmm yummy!" This means only one thing, Matt Striker needs to wrestle again using a porn star gimmick. I mean he should go balls to the walls with this. Get a sexy manager, wear a thong in the ring, pop little blue pills to power up, the whole nine yards.

I was never really that interested in Striker as a wrestler. I did enjoy his classroom segments but I think he's much better used as a colour commentator. He actually knows his shit and is interesting which is more than can be said for any other commentator - colour or play by play- at the moment. Anyone else find Striker's commentary a refreshing change from Michael Cole's incessant use of the word 'vintage' when a superstar does anything?
I think a gimmick like that would be a good way to give some zest to the program but, as we all know, Linda McMahon's political campaign comes before the entertainment of true wrestling fans. As such I can't see anything with overt sexuality such as this being broadcast on the WWE in the near future but it's a decent idea that harks back to the Attitude era, only it would probably work better on a wrestler not being put to any good use at the moment. Maybe R-Truth?

It wouldn't work. The porn star gimmick ran it's course with Venis and not enough fans would even know about the Striker pics to get the joke. Plus, if having naked pictures of yourself online means you get a pornstar gimmick, 90% of the Divas would be using it.

Ok.... where do I even start with this one??? First of all, Matt Striker in a pair of wrestling trunks is damn near offensive. I am a female and I certainly am not thinking anything remotely close to "Mhmmm yummy!". Matt Striker needs to stay right where he is at- behind the annouce table. He is actually a damn good announcer. In fact, I would even go so far as to say he may be the best out there right now. He was a below average wrestler and I can say with much assurance that if I saw Matt Stiker come to the ring in a pair of thongs, I would vomit.

I really don't want this to happen. Striker is a good colour commentater and should stay behind the announce table. I can't see the WWE with its new PG rating, wanting to advertise pictures of Striker (a colour commentater) naked.
