Mask vs Mask in WWE?

Can anyone ever remember a legit mask vs mask match ever happening in the WWE?


I was just think that a best of three match series between Hunico and Sin Cara would be great with the final match being held at night of champions with the loser dropping his mask.

I don't think this is a good idea it devalues the style of wrestling those masked wrestlers are going for now if it was a non Mexican wrestler then yes

i think the last time it happened in wwe i believe was like kane or mankind vs vader which was a joke. i know theyve had mask vs title matches all the time

the only way this would work is if the mask covered the entire face and was a face mask and we had never seen the character before

i dont think this is a good idea the mexican wrestlers that wear a mask take offense to having to take off their mask i belive it was in rey mysterios book he brought up feeling disrespected that he had to be desmasked in WCW and felt like bishoff didnt care about the mexican luchadore tradtion it wont happen if it was gonna happen wwe would do it with rey and sin cara but i cant see either one wanting to be desmasked its a form of disrespect to them

The only way I could ever see Rey getting demasked....is after his final match in the WWE,taking it off as a show of respect to the fans..

That would be far better than the way it came off in WCW,
Bischoff and bunch did that to stroke their egos!

I hope he doesn't. One of the greats of Mexican wrestling went to his grave without the public ever having seen his face. I think maybe more had that happen but one of the really big ones.

Yes I know that people have already seen the face of Rey, but it is more a case of those that don't know of the filthy animals and that period of WCW haven't seen the face.
