Make Your Main Eventer

Pick any midcard level Superstar, who currently would NOT be looked at as a possible Main Event level talent, but could definately have any type of potential (technically, anyone on their main roster should have the ability to be a top level guy.. so anyone really) and turn them into a Main Eventer. Explain what you'd do different with them, explain what you'd change, what you feel they could/should do to be better and explain overall, in depth and detail, how you'd make them a Main Event someone, as opposed to a midcard noone.

If you wish, you can use the M.V.P., Mr. Kennedy & Jeff Hardy's on the roster.. but this is your opportunity to step up with a challenge, not take someone who's almost a lock at becoming a Main Eventer as is. I'll start with an example.

Brian Kendrick: This isn't technically hard, because he's already getting a proper push.. but I see glaring holes on things that could easily cause him to fail. I think the Brain Pillman-like gimmick is working wonders for Kendrick, and he should definately stay on the mic as each week he adds a bit more confidence as he goes. The music is a good fit, and the body guard is a great addition because it's similar to Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash.

I think the one definate thing Kendrick needs to do, is add another powerful finishing move. The Kendrick has somehow changed into more "powerful" looking, but is still in the end, a cruiserweight type flash in the pan. I think Kendrick should add a Canadian Destroyer. He could even call it "The Rocker" as it'd be a slap in the face of Shawn Michaels, and could later build on a mid-card/main event level feud.

As far as pushing him, he's small plain and simple so it won't be easy. I think the Tag Team division, as weak as it is, would be the prime place for Kendrick to become a star. Take Ezekiel with him, and basically capitalize on the crap division. Become a Champion again, as he's already been a big-time Tag Team Champion, and use that to push up against the likes of Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, even Kennedy & Jeff Hardy. I strongly believe Kendrick could have decent matches with either of them, and the first main event feud he should have, would definately be defeating Shawn Michaels.. that would instantly (in my opinion) get him over as a possible Main Event player) Work him through the Tag ranks, into the United States division.. sooner or later, have him turn on Ezekiel, and push him into the Intercontinental division (which I believe is higher than the U.S. division) or even toward the E.C.W. Championship against Matt Hardy, John Morrison & Miz.

Festus: So, Kendrick may of been already molded for me to handle.. let's try a Tag Team guy. Festus had a really great match against the Undertaker a while back, so he's shown that he could hang with the Main Event guys. The one thing holding this powerhouse down, is A.) Jesse.. and B.) A ******ed gimmick, literally.

I think a "surgery/operation" in the future could turn Festus away from being "******ed" from bell to bell and this could lead him to turn on Jesse, since he could see him as a weak link. A very small feud could happen, in which Festus would kill Jesse more or less and then get an instant push into the midcard Championship scene. Festus' new gimmick would have to take very strong shape over people remembering him as a ******, so I'd say give him a new outfit, change his music, and even change his name slightly.

Anyone remember "That 70's guy", Mike Awesome? Give Festus a suit, have him style around and call him "The Fez". hahahaha In all honesty though, Festus is one "brain surgery" away from being a definate Main Event level guy. He's got the size and power McMahon likes, he just needs a gimmick overhaul.

So, those are my two examples.. now, who else can think of any midcard guys that you could take their career's and turn them around? Be sure to explain why in great detail and depth. Don't just say who and put them in a division, completely take control of their character of their career and explain from top to bottom, what you'd do to help them become someone.

Great thread idea, Will. Let's see what I can come up with on a whim.....

Ted DiBiase - Keep him in the tag division for a little while longer. Have him start to "buy" people to put around him, like an entourage. This could be that young generation stable they wanted, as well as being the new incarnation of his father's stable. While they do so, DiBiase goes for the midcard title. He wins the Intercontinental title once or twice, then decides he's a main event star and is too big for the midcard. The first time he challenges for the main event title, he loses. Pissed, the next night on Raw, he brings the Million Dollar Championship belt with him and says that he's already a champion. This is the title he uses as an "upper midcard" wrestler, since he's above the IC title but not yet the main event. A little while later, he wins the title, and then voila. The guy's young enough that you can spread this out over a 2 or 3 year period and make it a slow and full transition. He's already talented, but is just too green for the spot.

Carlito - Honestly, I think the highest he would be able to attain is ECW champion. Idk if that constitutes "main event"....as the title isn't worthy of "main event" but it still TECHNICALLY is...but with Carlito, there isn't really a plan. He's the type of guy that would win the title as long as they just push him consistently as being able to win matches lol.

Evan Bourne - The next Rey Mysterio. He doesn't even need to be pushed as an unbeatable guy, or a "David who slays Goliath"...he just needs to win matches and be allowed to entertain the crowd. Thusly, let him do such. Put him in the midcard of Smackdown and give him a long, solid, back-and-forth feud with The Kendrick. Maybe give him a test run at a midcard title, wherein he loses it to a heel that can benefit from playing up the boos of the crowd. That way, the fans are actually MAD that Bourne lost the title to the heel bastard. Bourne to me most likely won't become a world champion, but if they keep him from becoming a glorified jobber, he'll consistently be a fan favorite and they can use him in main event matches like they do with Mysterio.

No need to explain Morrison, MVP, Kennedy, etc. They're implied.

Ted DiBiase - I think he can team with Rhodes for about 6 more months then turn on him. They can have a 3 month fued. Then he should start to fight for the IC or US Title depending on which brand he is. After he wins the title he should have then by been able to get more of a fanbase. By then I think he can start having a few matches for the World Title but not win. By now he should have had a face turn. He would compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder match. He could win and Cash his MITB briefcase in and win a World Title in CM Punk fashion or he could lose. If he loses he would go back to some midcard fueds. The next year he would win a Royal Rumble match and fight someone like HHH or HBK and win the World Title. That way he goes from a Midcarder to a Main Eventer in a 2-3 year span.

Paul Burchill: First of all, bring back the finisher we all know he has. Keep him with his 'sister', but don't promote promote the whole incest gimmick. Keep his ties with William Regal, acting as an enforcer and forming a small stable of sorts consisting of the three of them. Continue to compete with Kofi Kingston, and after a pay-per-view or two give him the Intercontinental title.

Upon winning the title though, have Regal and Katie turn on him, in Regal's attempt to get the title. After a feud with Regal is finished, in which Burchill is sort of over and still having the title, bring in Chris Jericho and Lance Cade, both who are after regaining Burchill's title for Jericho. Give Burchill one win over Jericho, but eventually have Jericho take the title back. Then get Burchill, angry at losing the title going after Jericho whilst Jericho is in a match with Kane, accidentally attacking Kane in the process and starting a feud between the two, which eventually culminates in Burchill beating Kane, but in a more controversial fashion to make the 'true winner' seem ambiguous.

Bring Burchill in league with whoever is the GM at the time, be it Adamle still, or maybe Vince McMahon, and have Burchill be given by the GM an unfair advantage in the Royal Rumble, thus winning and going to Wrestlemania for the title against a hopefully face World Champion.

Jimmy Wang Yang: Change his gimmick, like they did with the Hurricane in which Yang is disappointed that 'nobody takes him seriously' and have him speak in a normal voice. Or better yet get him in a feud with the current US Champion, and have a gimmick match in which if Yang loses, he has to abandon being a 'redneck' altogether. Of course, Yang loses, but still goes after the US Champion. Some back and forth action should last for a long time, like they did with MVP and Matt Hardy. After a long feud, have Yang claim the US Championship and face a strong heel, like Umaga, or even (if he has been built up) Kozlov. Have Yang miraculously win against whichever heel, and then put him in a feud with MVP. Have MVP not win the title, but eventually put Yang out of action for a while, only for him to come back and reveal himself as a secret competitor in the Money In The Bank match, which he obviously wins. Get him a title CM Punk style.

Shelton Benjamin
I love his gold standard gimmick whta they should do is instead making him a weak heel mke him into a dominant heel , beat every oppoponent he faces which could set up really good if they have fued with MVP,Hardy,Kennedy(When He isn't Injured)and othe midcarders. To anyone who wants to bash my decision let's not forget that this man can have good matches(Benjamin v Michaels Ladder Match) the onlty thing i would say if you give him a new special move submission finish give him attitude like i am the gold standard bragging about his wrestling abilities have him be da challenging heel asking anybody who can beat him sort of like angle invitation i think THAT will be "Gold"

This could be the most ingenious thread I've seen all day! Seriously.

Evan Bourne

It wouldn't be too hard to make him into a main eventer. He's got the skills, and he's getting more over by the minute. Draft him to SmackDown and have him feud with Kendrick, Shelton Benjamin and Carlito until Survivor Series. At Survivor Series, have him on SmackDown's team and let him have a good showing against the top tier Raw guys, but have him eliminated to maintain the face momentum. Nearing the Royal Rumble, he loses a qualification match to a guy who is also face. Evan Bourne turns heel and teams up with who else than his previous opponents, Kendrick, Shelton and Carlito. Similar to Kendrick, he refuses to do as many high-flying moves as a heel and becomes rather a submission/rule-breaker style guy. The team take revenge on the face wrestler and pressure themselves into a Royal Rumble spot. Evan Bourne enters the Rumble at number 19, and is eliminated by the #30 entrant, Undertaker. After being eliminated, Bourne and his stablemates re-enter the ring and have Undertaker eliminated, and Randy Orton (#29) wins the Rumble.

Bourne feuds with Undertaker who in anger turns heel and exacts his vengeance on Team Bourne with HIGH interest, putting Bourne over with the fans as a tweener leaning towards a face. Bourne defeats Undertaker via disqualification at No Way Out. Bourne loses a MITB qualifying match against The Brian Kendrick after Kendrick cheats to win. He feuds with Kendrick, who uses Ezekiel Jackson to destroy him a multitude of times. The feud ends with Bourne beating Kendrick for the MITB qualifier spot at the Saturday Night's Man Event before WrestleMania. Bourne has now gotten over to Triple H-style pops. He wins the Money in the Bank match and feuds with Edge over the briefcase. He manages to retain his MITB by defeating Edge cleanly at Backlash. Over the coming months, he manages to beat MVP for the United States Championship. He continues an impressive streak towards SummerSlam, where he cashes in Money in the Bank and challenges the current WWE Champion, Edge. However, before the match commences, the SmackDown General Manager, Teddy Long makes the match Hell in a Cell. However, Bourne overcomes and wins the WWE Championship, becoming a dual champion.

Okay, so it sucks and will never work, but that'd be a fantastic rise to the top according to me.

Charlie Haas
One of the most under rated wrestler on the roster. Now lately Haas is attacking stupid and dumb.So I would make him like Dean Malenko. The Ice Man.The most dangerous man on the roster. He could break you bones in a second. To start of I'd have him attack Kofi Kingston thus starting a feud.Have Haas win the title on A PPV and let him have a 3 month winning streak before he asks for some Competition. He then defeats some random midcarder as we approach the WWE Draft. The US Title is taken to SD! while Haas and the IC title are drafted to SD!.2 months later Haas debuts by attacking his ex tag partner Shelton Benjamin. At the royal rumble both men cost each other the Wrestlemania head line spot by elminating each other(i.e Haas comes back into the ring to take out Benjamin). Then at NWO I would have them enter the Elmination Chamber. After the first 4 men have been elminated we get a double pin -Haas falls on Shelton but his shoulders are on the mat aswell. This leads to a 3 way match at mania where Haas makes HHH tapout(yeah right lol).As Haas Celebrates Shelton offers his hand.Haas takes it and then hugs Shelton ala Benoit and Eddie.

Well, thats what I'd do.Haas really should get the ice man gimmick though.

No one has said John Morrison. I know he has won the ECW title, but that is less important than his IC title run. And he has never challenged for a top two belt, so I think he fits in the game. Everyone here seems to think he needs to lose The Miz to elevate, but I think that's not needed. If they could both move to Raw through a trade for Kane, who Adamle believes is out of control. Adamle could pass the problem to someone else. Enter Miz and Morrison. On their first night on Raw they could face Cryme Tyme, who at this point should be in a tag title feud with Priceless. After winning the match (unclean), The Million Dollar Man comes out and congratulates them on their win. He then says that his son, and Cody need some help against CTC. He invites them to the back. Later on that night, as Priceless is struggling against Cena in a handicap match, the referee takes a bad bump. Miz and Morrison come out and attack Cena. As the ref wakes up, Miz and Morrison are already gone, and Cena is pinned. The next week, in a match with Kofi Kingston, The Miz takes the IC title due to interference from Rhodes. The Million Dollar Man comes to the ring and introduces his new stable, The Bank. He says that every bank has a vault, and the vault is where they keep the gold. He says his son has won the tag titles twice in less than a year on the roster. He says Cody Rhodes is one of the most talented kids he has seen in years. He says that no one on the whole roster is more improved and more focused than the Miz. He then looks at Morrison, and says he has one guy and one belt left until The Bank has more gold than Ft. Know. A briefcase is produced and opened. The Million Dollar Man offers Punk to put the contents of the briefcase ($100,000) up against his World Title. Punk says that a match of that caliber should be saved for PPV (prob Royal Rumble). Punk goes on and on about his matches with Morrison and how he took the ECW belt from him, and how Morrison can offer all the money he wants, but he will never be more "money" than Punk. Morrison would lose the first match, and The Million Dollar man would offer up the money again for the next month. Ted Jr. starts to stop his dad from ponying up the money. The Million Dollar Man would slap him down, and tell him to stop being jealous and that he has a long way to go to be as good as John Morrison. Jr. would then interfere in the next Morrison Punk match, but accidentally hit Punk, getting Morrison the title. After a brief feud with Punk, in which Punk runs right through him, DiBiase tries to reconcile with his father. MDM has no need for his son now, as he controls the WWE title, and pushed him aside. Cody, realizing that he has a chance to stay with a winner turns on DiBiase. Ted Jr. fights the whole stable until he gets to Morrison, who now is an established champ, with wins over Cena, Mysterio, and any other face that Raw thinks they can find.

At Summer Slam, Dibiase and Morrison put on a classic match that ends when MDM comes down and tries to hit his own son with the Million Dollar Belt, but hits the ref. As Ted and Ted Jr. stare at each other, Morrison walks toward them. DiBiase Jr. drop toe holds him into the Million Dollar Belt, which Ted Sr. is swinging. MDM gets into the ring and announcers that the only thing better than money, is blood. He hugs Ted Jr. as JBL comes out. JBL takes out Ted Jr. with the help of MDM, Rhodes, and The Miz. In the center of the ring, MDM, JBL, The Miz, and Rhodes stand over the body of Ted Jr, establishing the real Bank, without the pretty boy and his weak, shameful son.

This establishes two guys at the top, gets two badly needed faces into the Raw Main Event Scene, and sets up several feuds and matches that could keep things interesting for a year.

Mike Knox
Knox has been very impressive since his absence, and I believe he's already on his way to becomming a main event player. In the last couple of months, he has worked with Shelton and Kofi, (both current champions) and he hasn't looked bad at all. With his new beard and an impactful finisher, he really does look like a fierce and menacing competitor. So I see his little feud with Finlay being only the start of great things for him.

Knox's style should be based on Tazz or even Brock Lesnar. A tough, dominant powerhouse specialising in hardcore and always up for a fight. Thats why i think its great he is already in a feud with Finlay.
I would seriously keep Hornswaggle out of this for the most part. Beating up on the little guy is nothing new, and if it went that way, then this feud will turn into a recyled version of the (disapointing) Finlay vs JBL from 'mania. A couple of back and forth brawls would be the best option before they move on, and let one of them capture the ECW title and reignite the rivalry a couple of months later, but this time taking it to the next level. Cage matches, no DQ matches, smashing thru announce tables and everything you can think of, all over the ECW title.

The few promos I seen him do were ok. If he doesn't want to become another Snitsky or Koslov, I suggest he gets comfortable on the microphone, give himself a deeper personality than just a generic monster, He should even go as far as to create a ridiculous backstory for himself, complete with some bogus reason for him and Kelly Kelly to have gotten together in the first place, leading to some feud with....

What would really get him over would be to beat someone who is bigger than him. Someone who is 6/6 and 260lbs could easily dominate smaller opponents, but having him going against the Big Show would definatley get him noticed.

I'm not sure if he will ever get to main event status, but the best he can hope for is to fit into a Kane type role. Utility powerhouse, always good for a violent rivalry or a gruelling match with anyone.

I feel Charlie Haas could be big given the right character, and I agree an ''Ice Man'' kind of feel that someone mentioend earlier would be ideal, perhaps also throwing in elemnts of Kurt Angle's ''Wrestling Machine'' thing, he could come out and cut promos on guys like Kennedy, Hardy, MVP, Carlito, Mysterio etc, saying how they're all about the showmanship etc, and that they've forgotten their wrestling roots, and that at the end of the day fan apporval is nothing compared to pure athleticism. Basically, in a way he'd be a bit like a really exagurrated ROH fan :p

Start him out in lower card fueds, basically out-wrestling jobbers and makign them look like novices in mat wrestling, have him use his submission finisher a lot maybe to sell his intensity, as he could refuse to let the hold go when they tap out, and he could show disdain for the ''showbiz'' direction the industry has been going etc, obviously it's a heel character but he might bring up valid points once in a while, adding a bit of depth to the character.

It's a workable character that plays up to his lack of mic skills, while at the same time selling his in-ring ability. It's a bit similar to Malenko and Benoit I guess, but could be different enough to work. Another cool idea would be to have his signature moves called as they're technically called (ie. a Pedigree is a double-underhook facebuster'' or whatever), and have the commentators say that Haas has personally requested his matches be called like that. He should aos get to use the WGTT music as that was kind cool. Perhaps for one fued have a diva or soemthing make a move on him, only for him to lock in the Haas of Pain and say he's here to compete, not to get into a romance so all the fans can say ''aww isn'tthat sweet!''...then have some other guy eg. Carlito or whoever come out and stick up for the Diva which would start a fued. With the amount of obvious gimmicks in the WWE at the moment, a straight up, no-nonsense ''Ice Man'' kinda guy would have endless possible fueds.

The idea for Haas is very cool. I really hope wwe writers read this board.

Hmm, lets see, someone who isnt on the way.

Ill try Gregory Helms, assuming he ever returns. Timing his comeback as an entrant in the rumble, he'd come in fairly early, and last for 20mins or so, eliminating a few midcard faces like Kingston or Finaly. Eventually he'd try to throw out a big face [Cena, HBK etc] but they'd hang on and chuck him over. A good rumble showing always gets attention.

After that he'd return to Raw, seeing as theres no cruizer title. He'd make a statement by attacking the champ, probably Kingston. He'd cut a promo on how he is better than Kofi, eliminated him from the rumble etc. After a few matches, he'd claim the IC title, but drop it in the lead up to WM, having defended it a few times.

He'd feature in the MITB match with Jeff or Matt, Carlito, MVP,Kennedy and Shelton. He doesnt win it, but he comes damn close and suprises alot of people. Following WM, Punk is still champ [i hope that isnt really the case but anyway], and all the big players are feuding with each other, leaving a shot at the title vacant. Helms attacks Punk after a match, laying him out and getting some good crowd heat. He does this a couple more times before Punk accepts a match at Backlash. As the card would already be filled with Mainevent feuds, people wouldnt whine about those two clashing.

They'd put on a straight up wrestling match, good offensive and counters. We'd get the classic finish where Helms pulls the ref in the way of a clothesline or whatever, knocking him out. Punk hits a finisher, gets the cover but the ref cant make the count.

Helms then hits him with his neckbreaker [the eye of the hurricane one cos he can do that from behind Punk] and gets the shock win. That way helms is champ and mainevent, whilst people will say Punk should've won but the ref was out. A few more matches would follow, culminating in a ladder match, which Helms wins.

Eventually Helms drops the belt to a big face, and has a few non title feuds with Rey Mysterio. Those matches would be hot, leading to a three way title match with Helms pinning the big face champ, fully legitimising his main event status

Santino Marella- This guy has it all! He is Cocky. This makes him a very good heel, and if he desired to become a face, fans love a cocky face. He is amazing on the mic. He has made Raw less boring with his amazing promo work. He has more catchphrases than Chris Jericho in less the time. He is good in the ring. He just has not been showing it off in the ring yet. He has a great manager/partner. Beth Phoenix can do for Santino what Chyna did for HHH... besides give him VD. Just imagine this. Santino in the main even against say Triple H. Triple H hits the pedigree, goes for the pin, and suddenly Santino some how kicks out! Triple H sets up a chair to hit the pedigree on, Santino reverses it into his new Finisher, the Pasta Fagolli! He falls on Triple H and gets the pin! The Milan Miracle Lives on!

Lance Cade -He started to get a semi push by association by being involved in the Chris Jericho/HBK feud but lately has just been pushed off to the side and is no more than a manager right now. He has great in ring work a good look and is improving somewhat on the mic. Here is my plan for Lance Cade.

First keep him as he is for right now during the HBK/Jericho feud. But during it try to drop little hints that he's getting annoyed with Jericho. When he tries to say something have Jericho shrug him off and start to show Cade get more and more annoyed with him.

Meanwhile start having him wrestle actual matches and start to win them thus building his credibility as a threat to whomever the champion is at the time. Hell you could even have him get a clean win in a non title match against CM Punk somewhere down the line.

Have the announcers make mention that Cade is quietly making a name for himself while Jericho remains obsessed with HBK.

Once the Jericho HBK feud comes to a close (and I'm assuming HBK will come out on top of that feud) have Cade start to talk to Jericho about how he shouldn't be worried about HBK anymore and how he should be worrying about what Cade himself is worrying about. And that is becoming the best, becoming world champion.

Jericho could go along with that saying he's right but Jericho should be telling Cade during all of this to "wait his turn" to become champion and let an experienced Jericho go for the gold.

Cade frustrated by this will continue to win his matches and yet all the attention will be on Jericho.

A few PPVs down the line have Jericho win the gold and while celebrating he will almost competly ignore Cade during the celebration and be more worried about himself. (even though Cade helped him win the title by the way by some sort of interference)

Because of Cades winning ways over the past few months GM Mike Adamle will put him in a number one contenders match for the title against John Cena or Batista. Cade gets the clean win and is now number one contender for Jerichos gold.

Y2J will then try to convince Cade he isn't ready yet and he doesn't want to peak too soon and he should follow in the path of his mentor (Meaning Chris Jericho himself) and maybe build his way up by going for the IC gold first then when he is ready he'll get his shot against the best the WWE has ever seen.

Tease a face turn for Cade right then and there but wait..Cade actually agrees and decideds he's not ready for a world title run.

Later that night Cade takes on whomever the IC champ is with Jericho at ring side.

Cade is all set up to win the match and the IC belt... 1...2... but he pulls off the cover and walks out of the ring thus getting himself counted out. Jericho is yelling at him saying "what the hell are you doing?!" Cade simply smiles turns around then all of a sudden nails Jericho with a big move on the outside and knocks him out cold grabs his belt and holds it above his head as Raw goes off the air we see Cade mouthing... I'm ready.

In the weeks leading up to their match at the PPV have Cade talk about how Jericho did the exact same thing that he claimed HBK was doing to him. Holding him back...not anymore. He is done letting people hold him back and from now on he is on his own.

Now depending on how over Cade is with the crowd at the time you could either have Cade win the title at the PPV or get screwed out of it and have the feud continue.

If he's over though, I say put the belt on him and he can be built up as much as Batista or Cena.

Given Charlie Haas's new character, a ME push may not be so far away. Let him keep his most succesful imataion of CHL, and have him go on a winning streak. Eventually picking up a victory over Santino Marrela. JBL on the other hand goes on a losing streak. JBL then costs Haas a matchs agaist Santino for the title and beats him severely.

JBL then cuts a promo saying Haas would never be successful if he hadn't impersonated a wrestling god. Leading to a match between the two where Hass wins with a roll-up. JBL infuriated attempts a beat down but Has escapes. JBL then costs Haas another shot at the IC title, and beats him again, putting him out of action for a week or two. This leads to a Cyber Sunday match, where Haas wins by making JBL tap to the Haas of Pain. At this point Hass drops the gimmick saying he dosn't need to be JBL cause he is better. He then goes on to win the IC title.

After beating all challengers Haas declairs himself unbreakable. And chalenges then #1 contender for the world title CM Punk for his #1 spot. Haas wins the match but loses to the champ at a Armageddon. This leads to Haas/Punk feud, That sees Haas eliminate Punk form the rumble only to have Punk come backand destroy Haas in revenge. Punk then costs Haas the IC title leading to a submissions only grudge match at No Way Out, where Haas wins. Hass then beats his former partner Shelton Benjamin for a MITB spot, and The Unbreakable Haas gets the case. And now we have a Main Eventer.

Mr. Kennedy

Kennedy would have been at Main Event level over a year ago now if it wasnt for his injury. Things looked up a bit when he was drafted to RAW, he was billed as THE draft pick of the night. He was even rumored to be a big part in the McMahon illigitimit son storyline but then he got busted for roids. He's been really unlucky since he won the MITB match at WM 23 and it's a shame because he's only getting older and so much time has already been wasted for him. He has top notch charisma and I'm a big fan of his in ring work and overall style. He should turn heel again when he returns and maybe he can pick up where he left off last year.

The Miz

Right now he is getting a good push. Imagine, in about 2 months, he turns on morrisson, he has a feud with him for about 3 months. He then challenges matt hardy for the title. He feuds with matt for about 4 months. He doesn't win it. By this time, jeff hardy will be the WWE champion. Miz jumps show, challenges jeff, he loses the first two times. In the third match he wins by DQ. Jeff and miz should slowly start switching roles as face and heel. In his third attempt he beats jeff. But it should be controversial. This way, the title is vacated. The miz should be way over by now. He wins the elimination chamber and becomes world heavyweight champion.

Kenny Dykstra

Poor Kenny. He's been pushed around all this time (and oddly he is still trying to feud with HHH), and never been given a proper burial.

Vinnie Mac finally makes his return on SmackDown, and approaches Vickie Guerrero on how great she has been running the show (as Big Show is her new business partner and bodyguard from Taker), and declares that the WWE needs a new championship, and reinstates the Hardcore belt, which would be defended on all three brands. Kenny shows up in the middle of the conversation, staring at the belt. Vince, Vickie, and Show look at him as if to say "Who're you?" but Kenny still remains and asks Vickie what can he do to make an impact, where everyone would notice him? Vince then gets in Kenny's face, and tells him that if he wants to make an impact, do something that would really stand out, make the crowd hate you for being so despicable. Do something that only Vince McMahon would be capable enough to do. Kenny ponders, and leaves.

Later on, Kenny battles Funaki, and defeats him. Standing in the ring, Kenny seems to think of what Vince told him to do, and therefore grabs a chair to beat the holy bejeebus out of Funaki. However, as he grabs the chair from out of Lillian Garcia, he stops and stares at Good Ol' JR. Kenny throws down the chair, and proceeds to grab JR, and toss him around a bit into the ring. With Kenny's back turned, Tazz comes up and Tazzmissions Kenny. End of segment.

The next Smackdown, Kenny has a crazed look in his eyes, and says that he needed to make an impact, and he was thwarted by Tazz. He calls Tazz out, and Tazz says that he wants no part (retired from the ring and such), and Kenny calls one of the most impressive ECW stars a pansy, and demands he "get his ass in the ring" or he would get him in there for him. Tazz reluctantly does, and takes out Kenny again.

Later on during this Kenny/Tazz feud, Vince says backstage with Tazz that at the next PPV (Decemeber to Dismember, possibly as an ECW PPV), the Hardcore championship will be up for grabs, as he will face Kenny for the belt, as Kenny reminded him that Tazz was an accomplished Hardcore champion and all-around ECW superstar. That night, Tazz takes on Kenny in a Hardcore match, and Kenny jobs to Tazz again. However, Kenny has had enough, and brutalizes Tazz, finally dropping him with the RK-Doane (his cutter) on the steel steps, having Tazz bleed profusely. At December to Dismember, Kenny finally wins against Tazz by taking barbed wire off of a two by four, and wrapping it around Tazz's face, and hitting him in the face with the Hardcore belt, becoming the new Hardcore champion.

I doubt many people agree, but I also think Kenny Dykstra could be Main Event. I say have him cut a long promo about how nobody appreciates him, put down the fans and face wrestlers, etc.. something to get him lots of heat... Kenny then challenges someone in the back to show how serious hes gotten... then have someone like Jeff Hardy or another huge face come out to have a match with him. Kenny actually wins the match, and then proceeds to really beat the other wrestler with chairs, the stairs and such.. Having him get a huge upset is a very good start on moving up in the ranks.. After this match don't have him just be forgotten. I'd like to see him keep up the challenge thing weekly and keep winning, then have a fued for the US title.. Later he will go back to the face wrestler to have a fued with him for the championship.

I can also see Kenny benefiting by being paired in an evolution-like stable, like I have heard before with Dibiase and Rhodes with Orton as the leader.. I think a group with these 4 would be very good and Kenny would learn a lot, and he'd be able to really step into the spotlight with more tv time and promos. He really has a cocky heel attitude, just needs the chance to show it.

i would like to respond to all who think charlie haas should be a main eventer. This guy has the charisma of a pile of bricks, hes the most unmarketable person on the roster. The list of people more deserving than him includes every wrestler in the WWE except the Great Khali. boring strategic wrestling is extremely hard to get over with the main stream audience(it really doesnt matter what smart fans on the internet think is "good" wrestling) and charlie haas does not have the it factor whatsoever. If charlie haas were to headline a wrestlemania it would be a complete joke. There are some people who just dont have what it takes and he is one of them.

After reading everyone else's posts and giving it some thought, I came to this conclusion. I think that Ezekiel Jackson could rise to main-event status within the next couple of years. Although I haven't watched SD! in a couple of weeks, I've been hearing a lot about this dude and I just got this feeling about him. He reminds me a lot of Ahmed Johnson, who was one of WWE's better mid-card guys in the mid to late 90s. They're pretty much built the same and Jackson's character could be the semi-dominant big man that Johnson was. Also, not only did the bodyguard role remind me of HBK and Big Kev from back in the day, it also reminded me of Reverend D-Von's old enforcer, Deacon Bautista. Just think about it, Jackson's character is coming up similiar to Batista and three world title regins later, we know how good that turned out for the latter of the two. D-Von faded off into oblivion (also known as TNA) and Batista turned into a mega-star. After a couple of months, just have him turn on Kendrick and let him break out on his own. Then, he'll slowly start making his way up the WWE totem pole until he one day has that world title strapped around his waist.
