Mac Attack
I'm neat.
So I thought about possibly creating a poetry book along with some friends and I was hoping to get feedback on some poems I was creating so every day I'm going to post a poem and hopefully recieve feedback on it.
Poem for March. 21
Future World
The moon shines more bright on the darkest days
The sky a burnt red reflecting gloom,
The world at a standstill preparing for doom.
The problems made, a web over the world
Fear grips us with his unyielding grasp,
Drowns us in bloodshed, gives us no air to gasp.
Slowly we all start to fall,
One by one we give into the darkness.
Some will stand to fight the dread,
Others opt for dying instead
The hate and destruction consumes the body,
Leaving us nothing, no memories of the past.
This world does not need to happen
But the hate in human heart,
Will Reopen Pandoras box and bring upon us,
Malice, Grief, Hatred, and Sorrow.
Unless we change now and not tomorrow
We live, laugh, love and show the true compassion of humans
We express who we are through peace not guns
We live to live happily and not mistrust.
This future is what we need,
We must build a place of unity, and trust
And not of madness, hate, and lust.
We have the power to change the world.
Let Fear, fear the lack of fear
And Love, love the amount of love
Let us take away the problems,
And bring this world to a better place.
