Former pro wrestler Luna Vachon was found dead in her home at the age of 48. The cause of death is still unknown at this time, but I remember her most from her time with Bam Bam Bigelow.

I just hope this isn't yet another case of a wrestler dying from past drug abuse....

I was pretty surprised when I read the news. It very well could be drug related. I guess we'll see. Very sad news though. I remember watching her on tv all the time in the 90's.

Really hope it isn't drug related and its sad that the first thing we think of when we hear a pro wrestler dies is "Was it drug relalted.". Its a shame growing up and watching these people on television every week, then seeing them drop like flies.

I mostly remember Luna for managing Bam Bam Bigelow, and her fued with Sable. She was probably the only one at the time who could make Sable look presentable with her in ring ability. It's a shame and the wrestling world lost another good talent.

i remember Luna from her run in 97/98 w/ Goldust and then with The Oddities.

and of course the fued with Sable.

i remember being younger and thinking Sable was the best woman wrestler (see how beauty can lead to blindness?) now that i'm old and i get to see not only her matches with Sable but her being Bam Bams "main squeeze" through videos on Youtube i see how great she was.

don't get me wrong i'm not gonna sit here and talk about her like she was the greatest thing ever like so many of us do when someone passes away. i'll just say she was a great woman wrestler that had a completely original look/gimmick and she could make other ppl (mainly Sable) better.

I read Sable really buried her backstage because, God forbid, Sable actually took a bump and was injured during a match with Luna. Owen Hart stood up for her (Luna).

It's a shame because Luna is one of the last who cared about wrestling. And Sable represented what totally sucks about the WWE's womens' division. Hot woman, horrible wrestlers.

I got home from a night out on friday and read the news, it upset me a little. The first 3 women who has an impact on me in pro wrestling, Miss Elizabeth, Sensational Sherri and now Luna are all gone. I fear the worst that it was drug related.

Really sad to see this. She was around when I really started getting into pro wrestling so she had a pretty big impact on me being a wrestling fan today.

Another sad day I'll always remember Luna for her time with The Oddities. And her brawling with Sable...Man as a kid I tell ya..watching those 2 brawl got me hooked on the women's division. Then it went to hell. Sad day and a big loss for the Wrestling World.

So many former wrestlers dying recently is so sad.

I remember Luna most from here days with the oddities. But I was recently watching the season 1 raw DVD and she managed Bam Bam Bigalow a lot and was a very good manager during her time in wrestling.

So sad to hear of her death RIP LUNA the wrestling world has lost another memorable person.
