General Mills, the cereal's maker is probably fearful of the backlash a leprechaun on a box of cereal could cause in Ireland.

Plus, you would have to subjected to all the horrible commercials Lucky and his "kids" put us through.

But... it is one damn fine cereal so I would like to take a moment to thank all Irishpeople for Lucky Charms and Guiness Beer - although not at the same time.
