Titus, the EurAsian Champion, has almost completed a full year as Champion. But he now faces the biggest challenge of his entire reign. Champion's advantage is well and truly gone as Titus faces off against 3 other men at the Lethal Lottery event. Titus has found a new lease of life as WZCW's resident bad guy. But perhaps all of his dirty tricks have caught up with him once and for all.

Xander LeBelle, Tony Mancini and Theron Daggershield will step up to challenge the current longest reigning champion in WZCW and try to rid him of the EurAsian Championship. One fall to the finish will decide this one. But who has the intestinal fortitude to outlast the other 3 men with the Lethal Lottery match following soon after?

RP deadline is Monday the 17th of October at 23:59

The camera turns on to show us Leon Kensworth standing in front of an average looking apartment on the outskirts of Little Italy in New York City. He looks down at his notebook as he takes a deep breath and knocks on the door.

Leon (to himself): Why do they have me interview all these people that don't like me? How does management know I won't end up dead in a ditch somewhere? I need to ask for hazard pay the next time my contract is negotiated.

All of a sudden the door is yanked open and Leon is suddenly looking at an angry Gino Rizzoli holding an ice pack to his neck after taking that Critical Hit from Blackjack Theron after the main event of the last Meltdown. He looks at Leon with a look in his eyes that says he is not in a good mood.

Gino: What the hell are you doing here?

Leon: I have a scheduled Interview with Anthony before the Lethal Lottery.

Gino: The fuck you talkin' about? We didn't schedule any interview with you.

Leon: It's in Anthony's contract that he has to do at least 2 interviews a year so Mr. Bateman set this up for today.

Before Gino can get on Leon's case even more Tony yells at him from the back of the apartment.

Tony: Let him in Gino, if he wants an interview then he'll get one, we'll just have to take him with us.

Hearing that Gino scowls at Leon as he mutters under his breath about how this is bullshit but he still escorts back to Tony's room where he's getting dressed up in a suit and tie and as he's putting his shirt on he talks to Leon

Tony: Sorry about that Leon. My parent's funeral is today so Gino is a bit on edge. He was very close to my father.

Leon: I'm so sorry to intrude on a personal day. We can reschedule if you have a lot going on.

Tony: That's ok Leon, you can come with us. I could use a friendly face today while I' m up there giving the eulogy. I do have one condition though.

Before Leon can ask what that condition is Tony reaches over snatches his notebook and throws it across the room then goes back to putting his shirt and tie on.

Tony: Leave this here. A lot of my father's business associates will be there and if they see you writing in a notepad they will try to take it away and start shit with you. Today of all days I just want things to go smoothly.

Tony finally finishes getting dressed and puts his arms around Leon's shoulders as he marches him to the front of the house. Parked out front is a H2 Stretch Limo with Gino scowling behind the wheel. As Leon is maneuvered in front of Tony they walk down the stairs and both get in the back. Leon looks a bit uncomfortable going to the funeral of people he has never met but Tony tries to put him at ease.

Tony: You said you were here to do an interview so you must have at least a couple questions. We have a bit of a ride in front of us so why don't we start now.

Leon: Ummm okay let's see if I can remember any. I've never done this without my notepad before. Ah yes here's one, Since coming to WZCW you've been on what most have called a big losing streak but now you're going into the second biggest event on the WZCW calendar as one of three contenders for what some are calling the top title in the company after only winning a single match. What are your thoughts on your rise up the ranks?

Tony (smiling): I was wondering when someone would be asking me that. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit surprised. All those months losing match after match I was starting to doubt myself, believing what my father was telling me every time we talked on the phone.

Leon: What was he telling you?

Tony: He kept telling me that I wasn't good enough, that I was bringing disgrace to the Mancini name and making him look bad in front of his friends. He demanded that I come home and leave this foolish dream behind me and learn the family business so I can take over after he dies.

Leon: Something must have helped you make up your mind. Your father passed away and you're still here.

At that Tony laughs a bit and pours himself a drink from the wet-bar the limo has in it and takes a sip.

Tony: I wish it was that simple Leon. The truth is since everything has gone down my decision got that much harder. On one hand I love what I do. My career has reached heights I never thought possible just a few months ago and I'm enjoying every second of it. On the other hand I have my families legacy to think about. My grandfather built his business from the ground up and left it to my father in his will. My entire childhood my father told me that he wants to leave it to me like it was left to him. I can either do what I want to do with my life or continue my father's legacy like he always wanted me to. That's never an easy choice for a son to make.

Looking a bit shell shocked Leon leans back in his seat as Tony pours another drink and offers it to Leon who turns it down saying he's not allowed to drink while he's working. Tony shrugs and sets it down as Leon finally finds his voice and starts talking

Leon: When you put it that way I can see how it wouldn't be an easy choice.

Before he can ask another question the limo stops in a church parking lot and after a few seconds Gino comes and opens the door. Tony gets out first with Leon right behind him but as Leon gets out of the limo Gino scowls at him and bucks up on him before walking behind Tony as they go into the St. Vincent's Catholic church in Yonkers, NY. As Leon walks up behind them people are huddled around Tony and offering their condolences for his loss. While people are talking to him some of the older gentlemen glance up at Leon and scowl at him. As he's standing there he hears one of the men whispering to Tony.

Old Mobster: The other families are muscling in on our territory. With all of us in the same place we need to sit down and have to sit down and officially make you Don before there's nothing left.

Tony: Let me bury my parents first Leo, we can take care of all of this after the reception at the Social Club. The Family will still be whole in a few hours.

The man nods his head and leans in close to whisper something else to Tony that Leon couldn't hear. All Tony does is nod his head as he motions for Leon to follow him. They walk up to the front of the church and sit right up front as the priest walks behind the pulpit and looks down at his notes and rips them to pieces before tossing them on the floor.

Father Dante: I had a long sermon planned but walking up here and looking at you all I figured that wasn't what was needed today. All I'm going to say is don't be sad, July 4th, 2016 is a day that will never be the same for any of us but we will see Angelo and Priscilla again when Christ returns.

With that said he motions for Tony to come up to the pulpit who gets up with a slight grimace on his face. When he gets up behind the pulpit he stares out at the pews full of people and takes a deep breath before he starts.

Tony: My entire life my parents were the cornerstones of my life, of who I was. Like any good son I believed my mother when she told me I could be whatever I wanted to. Growing up I wanted to be the usual things a child wanted to be, a cop, a firefighter even an astronaut. Hell I even wanted to be an archaeologist for a little bit. And you know what, my mother never said I couldn't do it. Whenever I felt like I couldn't do it or I started to doubt myself she played me her favorite Christian song that I would like to play for everyone.

With a nod to the audio guy in the balcony the song is played throughout the church.

As the song ends Tony raises his head and wipes the tears from his eyes. He tries to talk a few times but nothing comes out of his mouth causing him to look like a fish out of water. After he takes a few deep breaths and wipes more tears away he is able to talk again.

Tony: And then there's my father. He grew up the son of two Sicilian immigrants who came to this country hoping to find what everyone wants, the American Dream. Unlike most in this country however they actually found it. My grandfather started Mancini Waste Management and made it the best in New York City. He provided for his family and made it so they didn't have to want for anything. When he passed on my father took over for him and gave me everything I wanted. I grew up thinking I would do the exact same thing he did and take over for him but something happened.

Tony pauses and tilts his head as he smiles at the memory he's about share.

Tony: That something happened on August 8th, 2008 on that day I saw a WZCW PPV called Kingdom Come. I convinced my parents to buy the PPV and let me stay up late that Friday night so I could watch it. I loved everything about it from the violence of Milenko vs Alex Bowen to the Hall of Famer Steamboat Ricky making history by becoming the very first King for a Day. Those were great moments that will stick with me forever but there is one moment that made me want to do what they do. Watching Big Will defeat Joseph Rios to realize his dream of becoming WZCW World Heavyweight Champion made me realize that becoming a WZCW superstar was my dream.

With that declaration Tony's smile falters a little bit but is quickly put back in place fast enough so hopefully people never see that it isn't plastered on his face.

Tony: Earlier this year I did exactly that, I became a WZCW superstar. If you follow WZCW at all you know that for the longest time it didn't go as I, or my father, thought it should or how we wanted it to. My father did nothing to hide that fact either. He kept telling me I was wasting my time and that he wanted me home to start learning what I need to learn to take over the family business.

At that point he let's the smile fall from his face as he bows his head and talks in choked whispers

Tony: When he would say that I would tell him he was wrong but as time went on he got more insistent. It got so bad that right before he died we got in a huge argument. He never got to see me become #1 contender to the Eurasian Championship. He won't see his son go into WZCW's 2nd biggest event of the year and fight not only a Hall of Famer who has had a chokehold on that title for almost a year but a former World Champion and a man on track to become the Rookie of the Year. People say I'm the underdog in this match, that I don't have a chance at winning this match against 3 of the best superstars that this company has.

Tony raises his head to show everyone the fire now in his eyes and when he starts talking there is a quiet determination in his voice that make people lean forward in their pew so they can hear him.

Tony: What people don't know is I have to win. My mother died thinking I was going to eventually have success doing what I love while my father never thought I would amount to anything in this business. I have to prove her right and him wrong and the only way I can do that is by beating three of the best to ever step foot into a wrestling ring.

Tony closes his eyes and takes a few more deep breaths and talks in a regular voice.

Tony: Enough about me though, this is about my parents. In that light I would like to invite all of you to my father's favorite Social Club down in the city for a celebration of their life instead of moping around being depressed because they're no long with us, it's what they would have wanted. One last thing I wanted to share with you before I was done though. My mother shared a Psalm with me a few years ago and since she died I've found myself repeating it over and over. It's really helped me over the last few months and hopefully it helps anyone else going through a tough spot in life.
Pslam 23:4 said:
Though I walk through the shadow of the valley of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Closing Father Dante's bible Tony walks back to the front pew while the priest walks back behind the pulpit to say one last thing.

Father Dante: right after this we're going to lay the deceased to rest at the Mancini family plot at St. Vincent's Cemetery and then as Tony stated there will be a Celebration of Life down in the City. God bless you all and have a great day.

As Father Dante walks to the back of the church the eight pallbearers walk up and take the coffins and slowly follow Tony out the door as they walk behind the church to the Mancini family plot. When everyone arrives Father Dante says a few more words and lets everyone say goodbye before the cemetery workers. Tony watches the men fill in the dirt over his parents with Leon standing next to him. As the men pour the last of the dirt Gino honks the limo horn from the road causing Tony to turn around and walk away from his parents grave with Leon right behind him.

Leon: Thank you for letting me be a part of such a personal time Tony. I wish I had known your parents before they passed away.

Tony: My mother would have like you but my father probably wouldn't have, he would have seen you as weak and not worth his time.

Leon pushes his glasses up on his face so they don't fall of as Tony opens the limo door and gets in leaving Leon to keep the door from closing on him as he scrambles into the seat next to Tony who is already drinking the liqour from the in-limo bar.

Leon: I have some more questions to ask you if you don't mind Tony. I figured with the almost hour ride back to the city I could get a few more of them out of the way.

Tony silently nods his head as he pours Leon a drink and by the look on his face Leon reaches for it and takes a sip as he nurses it, not wanting to drink to much.

Leon: You mentioned your match at the Lethal Lottery in Phoenix but I was hoping you could go into your opponents a bit more than you have.

Tony: What more can I say Leon? Titus Avison is the only active Hall of Famer in WZCW and has elevated the Eurasian Championship so much it's on par with the World Championship. Some say it's surpassed it due to the quality of matches he's put on over the last year while defending it. He is the longest reigning champion in this company and wants nothing more than to go a full calendar year as Eurasian Champion. People have heard the legends? I say the legends don't do the man justice.

Tony down the rest of his glass of rum and pours himself another glass as he stares out the window at the passing New York countryside. It goes on to the point where Leon is about to wake him up when he continues talking.

Tony: They call him The Worlds Greatest Mind and I would be hard pressed to disagree with them. Since he cam back to WZCW Xander LeBelle has been on a roll. He seems to know what people are thinking before they do and he's able to capitalize in ways that make him come out looking like gold.

As he thinks about his last opponent he scowls and grips the glass he is holding to the point where cracks start to appear on the sides.

Tony: And last we have the man who is out of touch with reality. He has somehow won the World Championship at the Lethal Lottery event last year and has held the Eurasian Championship once before. I don't know how he's been able to accomplish everything he has without even knowing the names of his opponents but he has.

Leon: You mentioned this a little bit but what do you say to the people calling you the underdog going into this match?

Tony: I would tell them that they're full of shit. I may have won only a single match to get the chance to win the most prestigious title in WZCW. But sometimes that's all it takes. I may not have done much compared to 2 former world Champions and a former tag champion. But like I said earlier that's why I have to win this. Unlike the other three men I have something to prove and I intend to do just that.

Leon nods his head as he takes another small sip out of the glass he's been holding. He stares out the window and the city scape coming into focus as he thinks of another question to ask before they get to the Social Club.

Leon: Last week on Meltdown to teamed up with both Theron & Xander to take on Titus Avison but instead of actually being a team the three of you were hell bent on taking each other out instead. You even beat on Theron the entire match. Why on earth would you do something like that?

Tony: He disrespected me for starters. I wasn't even in the ring yet when he took it upon himself to make his entrance and then he ignored me when I tried to talk to him about it and find out why he did it. I can deal with a lot of crap but being blatantly disrespected like that is not one of them. I told everyone I needed to get the pin in order to make people take me seriously but that was stolen from me by LeBelle so I had to do the next best thing. I took out a former WZCW World & Eurasian Champion and stood over not only his body but the body of the current Eurasian Champion as well. I stood tall over them to end the show while the front runner for Rookie of the Year ran away like a coward instead of facing me in the ring. It wasn't how I planned it but I think I proved my point.

All of a sudden the limo stops and Leon realizes they arrived at their destination. Tony stumbles a little bit as he gets out of the limo and almost falls face first onto the pavement. Leon gets out after him and sees a bunch of people already there and on the fast track to becoming completely drunk so he decides to ask Tony one last question before leaving.

Leon: I have one last question for you and then I'm gonna go. I have more people to interview and I'm sure you would like to spend time with your friends and family.

Tony puts his arms around Leon's shoulders and puts his full weight on him causing him to stumble a little bit himself. Tony doesn't say anything so Leon goes ahead and asks his question.

Leon: Not only do you have a chance to become Eurasian Champion you are also in the Lethal Lottery match itself and have a chance to go on to headline Kingdom Come VIII for the World Championship. Have you given that any thought?

Tony: Honestly Leon, no I haven't. People see me as the underdog in a match with only four people in it. I can only imagine what those people would say about my chances where I'm only one out of thirty superstars. I plan on doing my best but even I know the odds of me winning when people like Eve Taylor and Matt Tastic are in it are extremely small. No Leon my thoughts are on winning the Eurasian Championship and going into Kingdom Come as champion not winning a match to become a contender at Kingdom Come.

With that Tony pushes off of Leon and goes to stand over next to Gino who is talking to a group of men in suits. When he notices Tony he looks over at Leon who is already calling for a cab.

Gino: I never thought that peon would leave, now we can get down to some serious business. Ton we all need to go into the back room and get this succession over with and let the other Families know we're still a threat.

Tony nods his head and leads the group into the Social Club and past the large group of people celebrating his parents life. He takes his cell phone out of his pocket and sets it on the bar. Everyone behind him follows suit as they pass and go into the the back room. As the all crowd in Tony stares at the head of the table and the ornate chair his father always sat in. He take a deep breath hand walks over to the chair and sits down in it as everyone else sits down around the table with Gino standing at his right shoulder.

Tony: We need to make this quick so the people out there don't start wondering why we're all back here. You all want me to take my rightful spot as Don after my father. Well I've thought long and hard about this every day since he died and I have an answer.

Tony takes a deep breath before giving his answer he knows the other won't like.

Tony: I can't do it. You were all there when I said I love what I do and I don't need the distractions that have been running through my mind the last few months. Don't worry though, when I realized I couldn't take my father's place I thought of who could and I came up with one person. Vito will take over the Family and Leo will be his Consigliere. Leo has been around since my father was a boy and Vito is the kind of guy that no one will want to cross. Between them they will bring this Family to heights I never could.

As he gets done talking everyone starts shouting ever each other in protest but as Tony gets up everyone goes silent as he motions for Vito and Leo to get up as well. They walk up to him and he grabs each man in a huge bear hug and kisses them both on the cheek. He moves out of the way and lets Vito take his place at the head of the Family with Leo standing at his right shoulder. Tony quietly walks out of the room with Gino right behind him as Vito starts talking to everyone as the new Don. He smiles as he closes the door and walks out into the party. He grabs his phone from the bartender and asks for a rum and coke. He mingles with friends and family as they all shares stories when all of a sudden he gets a tap on his shoulder. He turns around and sees a complete stranger with an envelope in his hands.

Process Server: Are you Anthony Mancini?

When Tony says yes the man hands him the envelope.

Process Server: You've been served.

Saying that the man turns around and walks out the door leaving Tony staring at the envelope in his and. After a minute he notices the people he was talking to staring at him and talking to themselves. He puts it in his back pocket and turns back around as he rejoins the conversation the camera slowly fades out.

In the world of wrestling there are lots of cities that just breed excellence. One of those is Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a city that lives wrestling from every walk of life. Instead of Calgary, however, we're in one of the sister cities. With a complete opposite weather pattern it's boiling hot in Phoenix but wrestling fever has gripped the city. Why? Lethal Lottery is here.

One of the most watched shows in Phoenix is The Now Arizona. We're joined on the couch by long term host Katie Rami and we take it from there.

Katie: Well there's a buzz about town for WZCW's Lethal Lottery. With a sold out Talking Stick Resort Arena this Sunday looks to be a lively one for the city. I'm joined by a man synonymous with WZCW, Titus Avison.

Titus: Thanks for the welcome Katie. What do you think about WZCW itself then?

Katie: I actually was at All or Nothing back in 2009.

Titus: Yes pretty historical night for the company.

Katie: Indeed, who can forget Showtime having three title shots in a night!

Titus: Well it was my first ever title match as well.

Katie: Yes yes. I remember.

Katie’s body language shows she didn't remember and Titus' scowl on his face backs this up. The crowd laugh.

Katie: I also remember our first interview.

Titus: I don't think we've ever met before.

Katie: I interviewed you when you were filming Raising Arizona 2: The revenge of Hi.

Titus: Oh dear, what an awful movie. I don't recognise you though you look like you dye your hair and have had botox.

The crowd boo at this, Katie looks upset and a rare side of remorse for Titus pulls things back.

Titus: I'm joking of course. It was early 2007 just before I won my third Oscar.

Titus got lucky just as he has done through his whole life, Katie smiles and the crowd laugh.

Katie: I asked you about the movie, you were positive about it but everyone else on set hated it.

Titus: It was a sequel almost 20 years after the original. The Coen brothers refused to have anything to do with it. They were filming No Country for Old Men and actually offered me a role. I said no, stupidly. No one from the original cast said yes to it. When William Forsythe and Nicolas Cage say no to your movie you're in trouble.

Titus pauses and looks at the crowd.

Titus: Did anyone actually see it?

A unison of no from the crowd is met with one guy shouting “Yes, I love you Titus”.

Titus: Did anyone actually see it? I was the biggest star in Hollywood and wanted a bit of a break. I thought it was what I wanted but it was during that time someone approached me to offer something I could not turn down.

Katie: Feel free to share the story.

Titus: Imagine the scene at the end of Iron Man when Nick Fury approaches him and asks him to join up. It was pretty much like that. I met a guy called Chuck Myles who said he was starting a wrestling company. The thought hadn't even crossed my mind, I loved wrestling as a kid with Big Daddy on TV but this was a chance I had to take. A few months later I was in WZCW. Now look at me, I'm the holder of the grandest prize in the company. I am Mr. WZCW. I've done it all.

Katie: I always like to tug on the heart strings here on the Now Arizona. So I want to talk about your debut run. For a man who claims to have done it all you didn't win anything during that time.

Titus looks furious at this. He looks behind the cameraman as if looking for the producer or his agent and mouths his frustration. The audience picks up and this and audible mutterings can be heard.

Titus: That's a no go area.

Titus Avison stands up takes his microphone off and begins to walk off. Katie looks quite shocked that this is happening, her Emmy award for journalism coming in useful in upsetting Titus.

The crowd begin to boo more and Titus stops mid-stage, turns back around and sits down.

Titus: Have you heard the legends? About how I won the Elite X title. How I won the Lethal Lottery? How I won the world title, twice? How I hold the grandest prize in WZCW and have had the EurAsian championship for almost a year? Of how I am a legitimate Hall of Famer? Yet you have the audacity to ask about when I first started? Titus Avison doesn't back down from a challenge. Go ahead Rami.

Katie: I don't need your permission to pursue a story. Your first run in WZCW only resulted in one victory. What was going through your mind?

Titus: I was a cocky shit.

Katie: You can't say that on TV!

Titus: Cocky? Sorry. It's true though.

Katie: You know what I meant.

Titus: Eh I've told the story before but I went in with an attitude that I was better than everyone. You know why I had that attitude? Because I was.

Katie: You never won a singles match!

Titus: So? Everyone wanted to beat me. Send a message to that big actor who was better than them. They made me get changed by myself in the corridor, I was humiliated but I went out and stole the show nightly. It taught me a lot, the importance of the Titus brand. It's why I was on so many commercials back then.

Katie: Well luck would have it we have two of those commercials right now.

The screen cuts to Titus with short hair, Titus is in a restaurant.

Titus: Oh and a Coke.

Titus looks up to find a rather attractive waitress, brown hair and a big smile.

Waitress: Will a Pepsi do?

Titus stands up flips the table in anger and the waitress runs away.

Titus: NO!

There is chaos all over the restaurant as it cuts to Titus drinking a can of Coca-Cola in amongst all the mess.

Titus: Ah that's better!

Always Coca-Cola!

Titus is stood on the middle of a football field. He's surrounded by attractive cheerleaders. Suddenly someone throws a can at him, you can't tell what it is as the writing is in Japanese.

Titus:
これは本当に何かが、それは問題ではないと言うかもしれません。これは、実際にはベン・スティラーのCMに基づいています。

Titus opens the can, drinks it, throws a lemon in the air (that splits in two) and suddenly freezes to become ice. Right then you see a group of people in New England Patriots Jersey's. It's clearly not the Pats but to the Japanese market they wouldn't know. One of the cheerleaders shouts watch out. The Pats knock Titus to the floor. Scene cuts to Titus stood in amongst the cheerleaders and Pats.

Titus: FRESH!!!

Titus gives a half chuckle at this then with a stony face looks at the host directly.

Titus: Now, now Ms. Rami I don't think it's a good idea to bring up taped footage of people from ten years ago. It can get them in trouble.

Katie: Sure. OK. Back on topic, a lot of people may only be getting into WZCW and not sure what the Lethal Lottery is. Can you explain for them?

Titus: Honestly it changes every year but we can have 20, 25 or 30 men (or women) in a ring. You have to throw your opponent over the top rope to eliminate them. The last man (or woman) standing wins. Simple as that.

Katie: This is the Eighth? Correct?

Titus: Yes, I won it once. That's why it's simple. Where's the challenge in that? I could go in at number 1 and eliminate 29 other people but that's just stupid. No one eliminates 29 other people because someone else at least eliminates someone else. I could come in at 13 which is where I was when I won and do it again. I could come in at number 2 which is just the same as 1 really or I could steal a win at 30. The question though is where's the challenge in that?

Katie: The challenge is that it's hard.

Titus: Hard? I've done it. It's not hard. Hard is winning it for the first time, not for the second. Hard is become a legendary Hall of Famer and Mr. WZCW after having a disaster first run in the company. Hard is this...

Titus Avison stands up. He takes off his suit jacket and shirt to reveal a Titus Avison t-shirt (available at WZCWshop.com) he rips his pants off to reveal he's in full wrestling attire. Under the seat he has it. The grandest prize in WZCW. He holds the title above his head.

Titus: For Three Hundred and Twent Eight days I have held this title. At Kingdom Come I defeat Johnny Scumm a man who defeated the current world champion to win it. I have stopped all comers. The Mandroid SHIT no longer exists. Flex failed to show us his muscles TWICE over and Vee ADZ disappointed his parents, again. For almost a year I have face all comers and you know what? That was easy. What's hard is next. I have Mancini, LaBelle and Daggershield. Ask the public who they want to win and no one is picking Titus Avison. It's the first time I've been the underdog. That's what's hard.

Titus takes the title from above his head and places it on his shoulders.

Titus: You've heard legends of this man where's he's fought the odds. Where he's won every award under the son. What you've never seen Titus Avison do is hold onto a wrestling title for a year. People are after my prize.

Titus taps his belt and begins pacing back and forth.

Titus: That's what's hard. This is mine. It's not the EurAsian championship, it's the EurAvision championship. That's how much life I've given to the belt. DO you honestly think people are travelling to Phoenix Arizona to watch the lottery match itself? It's 89 degrees and it's October! Who wants that? Not to see the hope of Eve Taylor finally winning the big one. NO! They want Titus Avison to fail at the last hurdle, they want to see him fall flat on his face. They don't care who wins, as long as it's not me!

The crowd begin to boo.

Titus: For Ten years I played the puppet. I went out and performed putting my body on the line. I stopped and kissed your babies, I put on a smile when it was 4am in an airport so your kid could have a selfie, I signed countless boobs with autographs, I pandered to the will of the people. I became that legend, that hall of famer who everyone loved. Yet it didn't last.

Titus gives a chuckle, one to show he's in charge.

Titus: I decided to do things for myself for once. You booed me. Every single one of this audience has booed me tonight. The crowd at shows hate me. Mr and Mrs Adzenhan despise me. Long time fans have a fickle memory and I've never been happier. For Three Hundred and Twenty Eight days the EurAsian title has been the highest prize in WZCW. That's because of the man you've heard legends of.

Katie: That is a hard challenge. You're against WZCW's hero. A man with the mob behind him and someone who used to wear a red mask.

Titus: Oh I know a thing or two about all of those Katie.

Katie: That's all we have time for. Best of luck for your match, it's been erm wonderful.

Fade to Black...

Keystone City, Kansas. 2008. We are by the docks and it is dark. There is the silouette of a large man and he's stood by a car.

Man: No matter how many times I do a deal, I always worry.

Before the words can get out of his mouth there's a crash on top of the car. The man looks up to see the hero of Keystone, Red Mask. He speaks but is voice is gruffer than normal.

Red Mask: I warned you to stay out of my city!

Man: You? You're not something I worry about.

The man comes into the light, he's large in a fat way with a weathered look about him. His hair is greasy black and it's obviously he has some connection to crime families.

Red Mask: Oh believe you me. You should.

Man: Ha! What you going to do?

Red Mask stands hands on hips as the man pulls a gun out of his coat. Red Mask doesn't bat an eyelid as he jumps down from the car, he walks towards the gun as the man is taking aback by the stupidity of the hero.

Red Mask: I said leave my city.

Man: This is my city! One more step and I'll shoot you!

Red Mask: I dare you!

Just as that Red Mask gives the mobster a spinning heel kick to the hand. He drops the gun and goes to pick it up. A swift European Uppercut is hit as he drops to his knees. Red Mask bends down and collects the gun. He points it to the face of the man as the man begs for his life.

Red Mask: I never want to have to deal with any of your lot again, capiche?

Man: You wouldn't shoot me. You're hiding your face. That's a coward thing to do.

Red Mask: A coward thing? You scum!

Red Mask takes the mask off and throws it to the man.

Man: The actor?

Red Mask: That's right, and no one would believe you. Are you going to run to the others and say you were beaten by an actor? Of course not. You're going to tell them to move out of Keystone and that if I cross any one with any affiliation to any mob families I will not be held responsible for my actions.

He pulls out another mask and puts it on, still Red. He then rushes off as he leaves the mobster looking defeated.

The scene ends with Titus Avison in a swanky hotel in 2016. He's sat with a whiskey on the balcony looking over the Phoenix skyline.

Titus: WZCW's hero, a man in a red mask and the mob. I've seen it all.

Fade to black.

Lethal Lottery V was the worst night of Le Gentleman Masque's life. His hope at redemption after a brutal loss in his Championship defense was shattered, as he drew number two but left number one. His cane could not have supported that injury-free limp that he had walked out with that night. With little more than a goodbye to his partner and a request to management for his quiet dismissal, that would be the last night The Masked Gentleman would step foot in a WZCW ring. His existence in WZCW beforehand was gently swept under the rug, never to be mentioned again outside of an odd trivia question on the website. He was, in essence, erased.

Three years had passed since then, and Lethal Lottery VIII would be the greatest night of Xander LeBelle's life. Once again he was in The Lottery, and once again he was walking into a Championship Match. It could have been a recurring nightmare, but he had what it took to make nightmares into dreams, and dreams into reality. His stretch limousine pulled into the stadium parking lot in Phoenix and as he stepped out from it, following the footsteps of his shining golden manager, Adonis, a crowd of boos came from the stadium audience who waited for the doors to the arena to open. Taking one look at them, he straightened his glasses, and walked inside, unperturbed. Co-workers, security, and fans with VIP passes looked over their shoulders and tipped their heads for a glimpse at the aristocrat with a cigar in his mouth.

As the two walked through the backstage entrance, on their way to their dressing rooms, he heard heavy footsteps from a pair of late-70s-era heavy dress shoes trailing behind him. They were worn through years of use, judging by the sound the sole made on the ground, and every third step they made a faintly-audible squeak. He wouldn't be The World's Greatest Mind if he didn't know exactly who had just decided to tail them. He had no doubt in his mind, but he looked over anyways just for the confirmation that he was right.

"Man, if I hadn't been payin' attention to who I might run into while I'm here, I wouldn't have ever recognized you," the tall man with the afro said, and shook his head. He stood several feet away, arms folded.

A hunch from The World's Greatest Mind was never wrong.

Xander scoffed before taking off his glasses and tucking them into his suit's breastpocket.

"Perhaps this will make things easier for you." he said, with a smirk. "Although if you are to recognize me as anything, you could recognize me as a future Eurasian Champion. I've changed my reputation for the better, so this side is the one worth recognizing."

Andrew Adonis walked up behind Xander. The other man glowered as recognition dawned behind his eyes.

"Well, if it isn't the ol' Ac-Sack," the A-lister said to the D-lister, his distressingly-perfect grin playing across his face. He ignored the other man's glare as he continued. "Buddy, did it ever cross your mind that maybe he didn't want to be recognized by you?"

"I ain't talkin' to you, sucka," the kung fu actor replied. He tried again, looking into LeBelle's exposed eyes. "What the hell happened to you, sucka? Did this fool get inside your head?"

Xander casually smoked his cigar as he watched the two butt heads. He exhaled a cloud of smoke as the two patiently waited for his reply. He first turned his attention over to his manager.

"Adonis, please. I appreciate your concern, don't get me wrong, but if he would like to catch up with me, I have no qualms about it." Xander laughed.

He shifted his gaze back over to his old friend.

"There are close to around seven point five billion people who inhabit this planet. Out of all of them, there's only one person in this universe who is in charge of myself and my actions, and that person is I. Which is more than I can say for the last time we saw each other." Xander's look turned stern. "I am not being brainwashed, and I am not being manipulated. Correlation does not equal causation. Just because the first time you have seen me like this is alongside Andrew Adonis, it does not mean that Andrew Adonis influenced me. What he has done is help me step back into wrestling, and burn my mask."

Xander took his cigar out of his mouth and with the tap of his glove, left some cigar ashes onto the floor.

"However, you could be considered more responsible than he is for helping me see my flaws. Now I can make sure history will not repeat itself."

The larger man's eyes narrowed and his fists clenched at the malice in LeBelle's voice. "And what do you mean by that?"

"You say that as if I'm accusing you of something. You could just easily take this as a compliment, because you helped me see how I needed to improve myself, and now I could win the Eurasian Championship and the Lethal Lottery in one night. You see, three years ago I left WZCW for good. I had lost the WZCW Tag Team Championships after you got the winning pinfall, and later on that night I was the very first wrestler eliminated from the Lottery. I hope that clears everything up for you."

The former two-time tag team champion didn't seem any more relieved than before Xander explained himself.

"Regardless of your opinion of the situation, you made history three years ago and you will be responsible for the history that will be made tonight. The Eurasian Championship, for example, has arguably become the title to hold under Titus Avison, an absolutely incredible performer, but imagine just how much farther it could go when it is in my hands. Isn't that right, Andrew?"

Adonis laughed, the silvery chuckle drifting through his teeth. "You got that right, kid!" he exclaimed. "If it's the title to hold now, it'll only shine brighter once you've got it around your waist. Trust me."

The two gentlemen shared an ostentatious laugh, but the third man in the scene showed no such mirth. His voice was low and cold as he spoke.

"Sucka," he hissed, "do you not remember how proud we were when you beat me and Sab in the finals of the tag team tournament?"

"And no doubt you were even prouder when you ended my career three years ago to regain those championships. In three years, you had never thought to contact me once after I took my leave." LeBelle replied, sneering dismissively.

The dojo master took a step back, but LeBelle wasn't done.

"Yes, it's awfully ironic considering your new occupation as a mentor, but I must thank you again," he continued, and took another puff of his cigar. "You certainly did inspire a future star, though perhaps not in the way you intended."

He blew a ring of smoke at the man who facilitated his transformation and turned on his heel.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, we have further business to attend to. Adieu."

LeBelle set off down the hallway, cane in hand, leaving his final opponent, for once in his life, speechless. Adonis fired two finger guns and followed, walking just behind his greatest client.

"Kid, have you ever seen Action Saxton that speechless in your life?" Adonis asked, patting him on the back.

"Once." The Class Act said, nonchalantly."But I could show you it for a third time when he sees the man who's won the Eurasian Championship and will headline Kingdom Come."

"Hey, you win that title from two former World Champs who already headlined KC, and a bull like Mancini, and even if I was your biggest critic in the world, you would have my bet," he said, and he reached out into his pockets for a wad of cash. He flipped his thumb through the bills and fanned himself with the money. "But of course, you know I'm not gonna leave you high and dry and I sure ain't gonna let you go out there alone. Three other folks is hardly fair, so let's say I even the odds and sweeten the pot? I got you a cash bonus worthy of a former tag team champ and]/i] after tonight, Eurasian Champ."

"Remarkable."

Just before they reached Xander's private dressing room, the two suits passed by an open doorway to the insides of the Arena. The two slowed down to take a look at the soon-to-be packed dome.

"Tonight's the night we make history, guy."

Xander had only wrestled in one arena larger than the Lethal Lottery. And even then, when he did, it was never as a part of the main show, just a pre-show in his second ever match. If he could turn the Lethal Lottery to the greatest night of his life, there was no telling what he could do to Kingdom Come.

"Andrew, I would like you to imagine this. I, Xander LeBelle, accomplishing what even the mighty Titus Avison himself could not manage to do."

"What's that, kid?"

"Stand victorious as Eurasian Champion...in the main event of the largest show on Earth."

Lethal Lottery V was the worst day of Le Gentleman Masque's life. It was also the last.

The Legend Of Theron
Twilight Gladiator

2rm0fms.jpg

One week after Meltdown 134....

Scene opens up to a suburb in central Texas. A number of homes are seen on both sides of the road, each with one or more large trees in their yards. In the distance a Pink car can be seen driving toward the camera. It comes closer and as it comes into view we see that it is a 2003 pink Sunfire. The car of Theron Daggershield's onscreen manager and real life girlfriend, Tiffany Wyatt. The car stops in front of the driveway of one of the houses. Tiffany exits from the driver side and Theron exits from the passenger side. She looks over at the house and then at Theron. Birds in the tree are chirping.

Tiffany: Is this the right house?

Theron: Yeah. I've been here before so I recall it. Lich T and I once spoke at his home after battle practice once.

With a sigh, Tiffany thinks to herself. Her thoughts are heard.

Tiffany: (Voice-over) So that confirms Lich T was some type of mentor to Theron. I still have no clue who this person is, but Theron meeting with him will be good for him based off how highly he speaks of this man.

She walks over to Theron and then speaks.

Tiffany: Did you tell.... Lich T.... that we are coming?

Theron: He's expecting us.

They hold hands and walk up to the door. Theron knocks on the door. A man in his late 30's with glasses dressed in sweatpants and a grey shirt answers the door.

????: Well I'll be. It IS you! And who is this lovely lady?

Theron: This is my girlfriend, Kirilah Heart.

????: Nice to meet you. I'm Keith Smitty, Athletic Director at Riesel Springs Catholic High. I was Shawn's football coach. Well, come on in.

Tiffany's thoughts are heard as they follow Keith inside.

Tiffany: (Voice-over) Ah, so Lich T was his old coach. That explains a lot. Shawn has spoken of that season being a turning point for him, when he learned to not give up.

Theron and Tiffany walk behind Keith into the living room. Two brindle colored Greyhounds come up and sniff Theron for a moment and he pets them. Both greyhounds then go lay down in dog beds by the back corner of the room. Theron and Tiffany sit down on a couch while the man sits down in a recliner.

Keith: Make yourselves comfortable. You'll have to excuse my appearance, I just got back from practice up at the school. I got your message that you wanted to meet. How could I say no to seeing my most famous student for the first time in years? What brings you out here?

Theron: I've been going through a trading sequence lately and the most recent item that I found, was something of yours. That, plus I have been feeling a bit nostalgic lately. This is the first time I have returned home since becoming a gladiator. Kirilah, can you go grab the Poe Clock from the trunk? It appears to be yours.

Tiffany: Of course.

She exits the room and the greyhounds look up at her from in their beds for a couple of seconds, then go back to sleep.

Keith: Something of mine? A what kind of Clock did you say?

Theron: A Poe Clock. It had your name written on the back. If you watched the show where I defeated Jonas House, I had a Goron Vase with me. I traded that Vase for a Clock that used to belong to you.

Keith: You know, now that you mention it.... I did have an old clock that I lost a while back. I'll take a look when your girlfriend returns with it. And that Vase you mentioned from your show.... It was.... Never mind.

A few seconds pass and neither speak. Theron looks over at the dogs, they are sleeping in their dog beds.

Theron: How old are they?

Keith: The Greyhounds? They are siblings. Brother and sister, never been separated since birth, and both of them are 5.

He looks over at Keith.

Keith: How does it feel to be back in your hometown again? I've seen your shows, so I know you travel a lot now for your matches.

Theron: It feels good to be back.... like part of me had been missing, and it has returned. I miss it here, and it did not dawn on me until on the ride here with Kirilah Heart. Just like I miss being Global Champion.

Keith: Is that the championship that you're fighting for at the upcoming pay-per-view event?

Theron: Yes sir. It was the first title I ever held in the World Gladiatorial Combat Federation. I'm taking it back.

At that moment Tiffany comes back inside the living room, holding the old Cuckoo Clock, and shows it to Keith, who gets up from his recliner.

Keith: Hey!!!! I've been WONDERING what happened to THIS! Thanks so much.

Keith takes the Cuckoo Clock and looks at it with a smile on his face. He faces Theron.

Keith: You know, you described just a second ago about how something that had been missing from your past had returned.... This Clock was important, a gift from an old friend long ago. Now my set of old novelties of sentimental value is complete again.

He goes over to a closet next to the fireplace and places the Cuckoo clock on a shelf inside. There are other items on the shelf, a Vase can also be seen but the angle prevents sight of the what else is inside before Keith closes the door of the closet. Tiffany sits back down on the couch next to Theron.

Theron: Something that is missing from MY past will be returned as well. At the Risky Raffle when I enter a Four Elements match for the Global Championship, which is currently held by Tidarthian.

The coach sits back down on the recliner.

Keith: You miss having that title belt, huh? I can hear it in the tone of your voice.

Theron: I have been thinking about it ever since Kirilah suggested I shift my focus, roughly a month ago. It is only fitting too that Tidarthian is one of my opponents in the match.

Keith: Why is that?

Tiffany makes eye contact with Keith and speaks up before Theron is able to respond.

Tiffany: Titus, the current Eurasian Champion, was Theron's first opponent after winning the WZCW World Heavyweight Championship last year. Titus won the match. By sneaky tactics, mind you, but Titus won. Ever since that match, Theron has been struggling. He lost the World Championship to Dr Zeus as well as losing the opportunity to gain an Extra Life in the Lethal Lottery in a challenge answered by Noah Ryder.

Theron: It has been a tough year, but I have changed up my own tactics, and I have grown as a competitor. The seeds of doubt were planted in that match with Tidarthian at Burnup 122. Think of a tree. If a small bit of poison is added down in the roots, it will slowly make its way through the root system to the trunk, and then to the branches, and finally to the leaves. Those doubts I was having would have killed my career. That is, until Kirilah began managing me onscreen. Her support helped me regain my focus. That didn't eliminate the issue in its entirety though, because of the influence that loss to Tidarthian had on me. It changed everything. The concerns that the initial loss to Tidarthian created, were like poison being added to my roots. It is time to remove the source of the problem. I have to prove to myself that I can defeat Tidarthian once and for all.

Nobody says anything for a long time, then Keith breaks the silence.

Keith: So, face your fears. Do you remember the State Championship game in Dallas back in the fall semester of your senior year?

An intense look is seen on the face of Theron, he looks up and Keith continues his story.

Keith: You do remember, don't you? The look on your face tells me you certainly do. That night 8 years ago in Dallas. We were playing against the exact same team that beat us in the playoffs the previous year, in the very same arena that the team lost in the year before. The entire team was at the point of giving up during halftime but then you jumped up on that trainer table in the locker room and delivered a motivational speech that fired everyone up.

Theron: And then we won the State Championship.

Keith: Because of you. Your motivation for your teammates got us that win. You were a locker room leader. I would imagine you are one now amongst your wrestling peers as well. I see that same determination in your performances on Meltdown and Ascension each week. You were always destined to make an impact on others.

Theron: Thank you, sir.

Tiffany looks over and Theron and holds his hand.

Tiffany: In your match, history will repeat itself. You are going to defeat.... Tidarthian.... despite him being the one to cause the downward spiral last year. Just like how you led your football team to victory against the same opponents they lost to the year before.

Theron: Then I will be the Global Champion again. That title will come home to where it always belonged.

Keith stands up and stretches.

Keith: I need to let the dogs out. I'll be back. Come on, you two!

The coach snaps his fingers, both of the greyhounds get up from their beds and follow him out of the room. Theron looks over at the closet where Keith had placed the Clock. He approaches the door.

Tiffany: What are you doing?

Theron: Just curious. I'm gonna see what else is-

Tiffany: You should not go through someone else's house.

Theron: There could be rupees or a heart piece in there. Plus.... I have a feeling something else important might be in there.

He goes to open the door. Tiffany stands up and voices her disagreement.

Tiffany: Stop it! Get away from there.

He ignores her and opens the door. The Cuckoo Clock that Theron referred to as the Poe Clock can be seen. He stands at the closet and looks inside.

Theron: There's the Poe Clock.... Hey! Wait a minute....!

Angle zooms in on the closet to show what else is inside. From left to right we see the Cuckoo Clock, the Crystal Vase that Theron had referred to as a Goron Vase, a Magnifying Glass, and a the collector's edition Yoshi Doll figurine. The very same items Theron had been trading for the past several weeks.

Theron: They're all here.... How?

Tiffany: What do you mean?

She joins him over by the closet and sees for herself, three very familiar items on the same shelf next to the Magnifying Glass.

Tiffany: Are these the same things you had been trading? I wonder how Mr Smitty got the Vase and the Yoshi?

The voice of the coach can be heard from behind her.

Keith: That's because they were mine to begin with.

They both turn around and see that Keith is back in the room.

Keith: Hi. I see you found my collection. I was going to mention it earlier but did not think I would need to.

Theron: I traded a Yoshi Doll for a Goron Vase, that I then traded for a Poe Clock. I knew the Clock was yours but why are all three here?

Keith: They were stolen, all but the Magnifying Glass which has always been here. Three kids who claimed they were Chaotic Wizards or something. Their leader mentioned you actually. Said he was mad that you never hit the beavers in a Snow Glider game 2 years ago. The girl with them had a really strange accent.

Theron: Racecar, Kayak, and Civic.... They have appeared and tormented me about once per year during the Burnup Badness event in some way.

Keith: So you do know them. Now it makes sense. Anyway, I got a phone call from my friend Eric who owns a steakhouse in another state and he told me he had found my Yoshi Doll through a trade his General Manager made with a customer. This manager had made the trade without knowing that the Vase he traded was also mine, stolen by those Chaotic Wizard kids. Then I received a similar call the next week from my cousin Taro who manages a shipping dock. He had found my Vase through a trade one of his guys on the dock had made at a mutual friend's wedding reception, the Vase for an old Clock. This must be the same person you traded with to get the Clock. He couldn't have known that both the Vase and Clock were mine. Sounds like you were the one who found the Yoshi figurine too since it was familiar to you. Crazy. Either way, thanks to you I now have all three missing items back.

The greyhounds are heard whining from the kitchen. Keith exits the den and he is seen walking into the kitchen. He pours water into their dog bowls that he then places on the floor. Theron is still looking at the Yoshi Doll, Crystal Vase, Cuckoo Clock, and Magnifying Glass. Tiffany goes into the other room as well and pets the dogs while they drink until the bowls are empty. They each look at Tiffany, who is still petting them. A few more seconds pass before anyone says anything. The dogs exit the kitchen into the den.

Keith: Is he still in there?

About a minute later, Theron enters the room, carrying each of the four items that were on the shelf in the closet. He places them on an empty dining table in the back of the kitchen. Tiffany and Keith walk over to him.

Tiffany: There you are. Wait, why do you have-

Keith: It's ok. I trust him.

Theron sets each one of the items at one of the four corners of the table. Clockwise the Yoshi Doll is at the north corner, the Vase is at the east corner, the Clock is at the south corner, and the Maginfying Glass is at the west corner.

Theron: My match for the Global Championship at the Risky Raffle is a Four Elements match. Named after the four elements of Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. A true champion possesses the essences of each of these elements. Earth represents Hope. Fire represents Courage. Water represents Devotion. Air represents Passion.

Tiffany smiles at Theron in admiration and Keith nods in agreement. Theron picks up the Yoshi Doll from the north corner of the table.

Theron: Tidarthian is a lot like this character. Both are legendary and have seen vast popularity. Legends have been told of Tidarthian and he is a well known name all over the world. Tidarthian once displayed all the four essences of a champion, but he turned from his heroic ways at last year's Risky Raffle. No one can put their Hope in him after how he has acted. Gone is his Passion for being a gladiatorial fighter. His only Devotion is to himself, and no one who acts as despicably as he does could ever be seen as having any Courage. Tidarthian with the Global Championship is like a Yoshi with a Shell, granting him more abilities like flying or spitting fireballs. When a Yoshi loses the Shell he had been holding in his mouth, he loses his extra abilities. At the Risky Raffle, I will take his Shell, reverting him back into a regular Yoshi. No more spitting fire and no more flying. Tidarthian will have lost what made him such a threat to begin with, when he is without his Global Championship.

He places the Yoshi Doll back at the north corner. He walks over to the east side of the table and picks up the Crystal Vase.

Theron: Excalibur Labarbra. That is who this Vase reminds me of. Both are fancy and valuable. Excalibur is most intelligent gladiator in the world, one who is of high noble class. Yet all it takes is one mistake, and then the fall would occur. When a Vase falls to the floor, it shatters. There are three others in this match. Not even the intellect of someone like Excalibur could perfectly predict the actions of everyone else competing. He is the biggest threat in the match and I am aware of this.... Once he is caught off guard he will fail and then the very thought of Excalibur as Global Champion would smash into pieces like a Vase that is destroyed upon upon impact. Who could put any Hope in him as a champion? That is not the only essence he lacks. Look at where his priorities lie. His only Passion is for his intelligence and his Devotion is found in his diplomacy rather than any desire of being the best gladiator. Your status as a diplomat also reveals your lack of courage, you're unwilling to risk your nobility in order to accomplish what is necessary to win on the battlefield. I will show you what real Courage is, Excalibur, when I win this match.

He places the Vase down carefully and then moves over to the south corner of the table. He picks up the old Cuckoo Clock.

Theron: Antonio Manoosko.... He could be my friend if he were not my enemy. They say that Clocks represent our own mortality in this life. All the time we have that is constantly depleting. Time is running out for Antonio Manoosko until his past catches up with him. A Poe Clock such as this one symbolizes an event not occurring at the proper time. Antonio is not ready for competition with gladiators at the level of Tidarthian, Labarbra, or myself. He must first learn of the essences of a champion and how to embrace them, only then would the time be right for him to have a chance at defeating the rest of us in the match. The fans cannot place Hope in him based off his history as a Hylian Thief. He's not a man of Courage in the slightest, not with the way he hides behind his guard. What are his Passions? Where do his Devotions lie? Unless the answer to both of those two questions is the World Gladiatorial Combat Federation then it will never be the right timing for Antonio to challenge anyone for a Championship. Until he becomes stronger he will not be able to withstand what the other competitors and I are willing to do in order to win.

He puts down the Cuckoo Clock and moves over to the last item, the Magnifying Glass at the west corner of the table. He picks it up.

Theron: That just leaves us with this guy here, the Magnifying Glass Of The Twili. Magnifying Glasses help you see what otherwise was unable to be seen. When drawing a comparison between myself and my opponents towards these items, the Magnifying Glass Of The Twili is me.

He puts the Magnifying Glass up to his eye and looks around the room, then faces Tiffany and Keith again with the glass lens still in his hand.

Theron: What the other opponents cannot see is that I am the only one worthy of holding the Global Championship. They will see the truth and I will magnify that very statement when I score the victory in the Four Elements match. I have all four of the essences of a Champion. The fans can place their Hope in me. They did the last time I held the Global Championship as well as when I won the World Gladiatorial Championship at last year's Risky Raffle. Then there's the times I have defeated former World Champions like Beardacus and Daniel Jaguar. I displayed Courage when I went on a Crusade against The Garmr Dogs and defeated all three of them, one after another. The same Courage I will have as I defend the Global Championship after winning it from Tidarthian. I am devoted to the World Gladiatorial Combat Federation. I have been a full-time gladiator fighting for them for nearly 3 years now. Not once have I ever taken time off from my schedule or suffered a severe injury. That won't change. What I do on the battlefield means a great deal to me. I want that Global Championship back. That same passion will see me set a new record when I replace The Dark Dragon Shaman as the most successful Global Champion.

He puts down the Magnifying Glass on the table and stands still for a moment looking at the items. Tiffany closes her eyes, appearing to be in deep thought.

Keith: Shawn, err.... I mean, Theron.... I thought about it while you were speaking just now, and even though they were important to me, I would like to give you these four items. For holding onto, as tokens of good luck. Especially the Magnifying Glass, after what you said. Something powerful is at work here and I want you to have them.

Keith turns his head to face Tiffany, who still has her eyes closed.

Keith: What do you think?

She opens her eyes.

Tiffany: I keep thinking about this and the word Phoenix keeps getting highlighted. Not just the city your match is taking place in, but the mythical creature that the city shares a name with as well. The same bird whose feathers are rumored to be able to restore life to one who is unconscious. I feel like the umm, Risky Raffle, is where you will rise from the ashes like the Phoenix of mythical lore. The Legend Of Theron will come to fruition, and you do not need an Extra Life in the namesake match in order to step into your destiny on that night.

Theron: Last year's Risky Raffle was one of the greatest nights of my life. I won the World Gladiatorial Heavyweight Championship that night. This year I become a 2 time Global Champion, and then I will go on to win the namesake match as well. Earning me the chance to main event Empire Rally for the second year in a row.

Keith: How about that guy with the briefcase? What if he decides to face you that same night?

The Natural 21's facial expression turns to one of anger.

Theron: I haven't forgotten about Neil Ranger. He won't get in the way of me achieving my destiny as a 2 time Global Champion. I will have Kirilah at ringside to support me. If he did activate his opportunity then the best offense is a good defense. A distraction from Kirilah, and an opportunistic Critical Hit earns me my first title retention should that King's Contendership of his even come into the picture. Then to further prove that I always was a better fighter than him, in the Risky Raffle I will eliminate him from the battle twice. That Extra Life won't save him and I will go through Neil Ranger should he end up being what stands in my way.

Tiffany: If he remembers to use his briefcase or his extra life, I will remember to be there to help you in any way I can. This is your night. It was last year and it will be this year too.

Angle zooms in on the window behind Theron. The sun is setting and a glowing twilight is seen in the sky. Theron's voice is heard once more from offscreen.

Theron: (Offscreen) The 2016 Risky Raffle will end with a Twilight Gladiator named Blackjack Theron standing proud as the Hero who did anything it took to win the ultimate treasure.

Fade to black.
