Kensworth: Welcome, everyone, to London, England! We are now just an hour away from literally the biggest match in the WZCW calendar, and the official start on the road to Kingdom Come! I am, of course, Leon Kensworth and I will be guiding you through the build up to the Lethal Lottery. but such a job can't be done by just person. With me tonight, I am honoured to be sitting alongside WZCW Hall of Famer, Everest!

the camera cuts to the WZCW Legend as he smiles widely.

Everest: Thanks for having me, Leon. It really is a massive honor be here tonight. And I just cannot wait to see what's going to happen. There is so much to be won and lost. I love it!

Kensworth: Well, with the Lethal Lottery being such a massive occasion in the WZCW calendar, all systems have been set to go recently. In the last few weeks, we have seen everyone really bring their A game. Tonight, we the end of some things and, more importantly, we see the start of others. You simply can't understate the importance of this event.

Everest: Let me tell you something, Leon. The Lethal Lottery much is just as important as the main event of Kingdom Come. Look to the past and you'll find that this match and this event has been the watershed moments for the very best in the business. Hall of Fame superstars like Titus and Showtime Cougar won this event and went on to headline the biggest match of the year. You're right, everyone has been bringing it big time recently and I can't wait to see who is going to be making a name for themselves tonight.

The camera pans back to a solitary shot of Leon as he fiddles with his paperwork.

Kensworth: Needless to say, The Lethal Lottery match is the crowning glory of this event and 30 superstars will try their hand at winning it; whilst claiming their ticket to the main event of Kingdom Come. But tonight, we will also fond out the answer to will meet them there. Theron Daggershield and John Constantine meet for only the second time in their history to see who will be the World Champion at Kingdom Come. Constantine has been on a tear as of late, taking out the likes of Dorian Slaughter and Ty Burna. The former World Champion has his sights set on reclaiming that Championship but standing in his way is the hero of WZCW.

Everest: What a Championship match that promises to be, Leon. Let me tell you something, I'm a massive fan of both of these guys. Both have earned their spot in the match and neither will want to lose, that's for sure. Some people have put this right down to good versus evil and it'll definitely be interesting to see who can claim the Championship. I know from experience how daunting it can be headlining Kingdom Come but both of these guys have to put it to the back of their minds and just get the job done.

Kensworth: Absolutely, a match like that could easily be the main event of Kingdom Come but you'll see it all tonight. But before we get onto anything else, I want to send you backstage to where WZCW superstars are dropping by to pick up their Lottery entrance numbers.

- - - - - -

We cut backstage to see a few WZCW superstars waiting patiently for the door to open to the back office so that they can claim their numbers. Finally, the door open to reveal a tombola with all of the balls already in it. Behind the tombola, the familiar face of Becky Serra stands clutching at the handle.

Serra: Okay, listen up because I'm only going to say this once.

the queue of people immediately quieten down as Becky clears her throat.

Serra: You may draw only one ball from the hat. The number you get is the number you get. You cannot draw the number one entry as this has been promised to Max Steele. Trading, stealing... It's all off limits. Once again, the number you get is the number you get...

Becky begins spinning the handle until Titus makes his way past the people waiting and into the room first. Titus looks confident about his luck and sticks his hand into the tombola.

Serra: Lethal Lottery has been kind to Titus in the past. Is it going to be lucky now?

Titus finally grabs a ball and pulls it from the tombola. He opens it then closes it immediately. He gives a slight grimace as John Doe pushes past him into the room and sticks his hand into the pot. Grabbing a number, Doe pulls it out of the tombola and cracks it open. Beneath his mask, a smile can be seen. Behind him, wrestles begin to crowd the room, looking to get their hands on the best numbers. Suddenly, Titus crashes into the back of Doe; knocking the ball from his hand.

Titus: I'm so sorry about that! Here, let me get that for you.

Titus reaches down and reclaims the ball on the ground before handing it off to Doe. He pats him on the shoulder as he walks past Becky and shows her the number; his grimace now turning to a wide smile. Becky jots down the number and Titus walks away.

Titus: Good luck!

We cut back to Leon and Everest at the Kick Off table but they seem to be joined by none other than Logan McAllister. McAllister is smiling widely as some of the fans who have made their way into the arena begin chanting towards him.

Kensworth: Well, not everything as it seems backstage and I have a feeling that John Doe might have just fallen victim to the experience of former Lethal Lottery winner Titus. And speaking of people who may not have a lot of experience, we are now joined by WZCW rookie Logan McAllister!

McAllister: Inexperienced, Leon? I don't think so. Not only have I watched every Lethal Lottery event in preparation for the match, I've learned everything there is to learn about WZCW in the months I've been here. Let me tell you something, Leon, I've got all the momentum I need heading into this match and I've got everything to play for!

Everest and Leon turn towards Logan as he continues his diatribe.

McAllister: People can say whatever they want about me and my chances heading into the match but no one knows what I'm fighting for. This match represents the greatest opportunity of my career and I fully intend on taking advantage of it and headlining Kingdom Come. Mark my words, Leon, I'm walking into that match and I'm leaving as the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Constantine or Theron Daggershield, it doesn't matter; Kingdom Come is going to be my coming of age...

At that, the unmistakeable figure of Vee A.D.Z makes his way onto the screen, cutting off Logan in his prime and standing with a confident look on his face.

McAllister: Well, look who it is, Leon. Mr losing streak himself...

Logan gives a s****** towards Vee as he jokingly mocks him. But it doesn't look as though Vee has forgotten the after match attack that Logan dished out only weeks ago. Both competitors move towards each other as Logan tosses his chair out of the way and they square up.

Vee: The funny thing is, I may have had a losing streak. But you were the one that I beat to end it. So who does that say more about? Me, the guy who couldn't get a win. Or you, the guy that lost to the guy who couldn't win? Face it Logan, you don't belong here. Maybe you and your kid should call it quits before someone gets really hurt...

Logan and Vee continue to square up as it is looks as though things are about to get nasty. However, Logan suddenly moves back from Vee with a smile on his face.

McAllister: We'll see what happens when we get to the ring, won't we? Leon, thanks for having me but its about time I go and pick the winning number!

With that, Logan walks off of the stage and is soon followed by the smiling Vee. Leon gives Everest a shrug as we go to a break.

Mikey and Tastic slowly gather themselves and Constantine stands between all four men, getting ever closer to their prized goal. Constantine picks up the chair from earlier, eyeing each man closely. Ty looks towards Tastic and Mikey, and then back to Chris. All four nod their heads as they turn towards Constantine. Constantine swings wildly at Tastic, but he ducks under. Constantine gets run over by Mikey. Chris lifts Constantine up and tries to toss him over, but Constantine holds on. Mikey and Tastic try to help, but Ty comes up from behind and turns Tastic around, throwing lefts and rights before clotheslining Tastic to the apron. Chris and Mikey make progress on Constantine, but he pokes Mikey in the eyes, allowing him to kick Chris away from him. Constantine tries to clothesline Chris down, but Chris ducks under and goes for his flying knee strike just as Ty turns and goes for Consecrated Banishment! Constantine is hit from both sides and is knocked into the ropes. Chris and Ty both hit stiff clotheslines, sending Constantine out to the floor!

Harrys: Constantine has been eliminated!

Cohen: No! This was supposed to be the Elite's time!

Copeland: We're down to the final four here now! Mikey Stormrage, Chris KO, Matt Tastic, and Ty Burna are three eliminations from achieving their dream!

Chris and Ty looks to each other and motion towards Mikey and they grab him, using their combined strength to send him over the top rope to the apron. Tastic tries to pull himself up alongside Mikey but Ty comes flying at him with a Consecrated Banishment! Tastic begins falling backwards, but Mikey grabs Tastic's arm and pulls him back onto the apron!

Cohen: What is that idiot doing!

Mikey holds onto Tastic while dealing with Chris, finally headbutting Chris with all his might and sending him backwards before he rolls Tastic safely back into the ring. Ty rushes forward once more, going for Consecrated Banishment when Mikey suddenly pulls the rope down and Ty goes flying over the top rope and hitting the floor! The crowd is stunned as Ty looks up at Mikey, his eyes wide as he now realizes what has just happened.

Harrys: Ty Burna has been eliminated!

Copeland: Mikey just eliminated Ty Burna!

Connor: The last remaining former World Champion is gone! We're guaranteed a new World Heavyweight Champion tonight!

Cohen: I don't believe it! The fat man got something right!

Ty looks up stunned as he slowly gathers himself as all three men remaining just stare back at him. Ty swallows his pride and applauds Mikey who looks back to Ty smiling wide. Ty begins walking around when suddenly Chris comes flying across with a knee strike again, knocking Mikey who falls awkwardly and hits the floor. Ty stops and looks back to Chris then to Mikey, a smirk forming on his face as he shakes his head.

Harrys: Mikey Stormrage has been eliminated!

Cohen: Or he just waited to screw it up a few moments later.

Copeland: Mikey didn't remain focused on the match, instead accepting the applause from Ty.

Connor: Either way we're down to just Matt Tastic and Chris KO!

Chris turns and meets Matt Tastic heads on. The two staring each other down before Tastic points to the World Heavyweight Championship sitting at ringside. Chris nods his head and the two begin slugging it out. Chris backs Tastic into the ropes and sends him across. Chris goes for a clothesline but Tastic ducks under and returns with a running lariat neckbreaker! Chris holds the back of his head as Tastic gets up, waiting for Chris to get to his feet. He rushes forward and tries to throw Chris over, but Chris holds on before kicking Tastic backwards. Tastic runs forward again but Chris throws him into the corner. He lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle, setting him up for a superplex. He lifts him up but he turns and angles Tastic towards the floor. Tastic hits a knee to the head and gets back onto the ropes. He balances on it before running forward and jumping onto Chris's shoulders with a huracanrana! He spins around and sends Chris and himself towards the floor but Tastic hooks his legs on the bottom rope, his hands on the floor as Mikey Stormrage rushes over and clutches him, helping him onto the apron as Chris hits the floor feet first!

Harrys: Chris KO has been eliminated! Therefore your winner of the Lethal Lottery, and NEEEEEEEEEEEEEW WZCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, MAAAAAAAT TAAAASTIC!

Copeland: Tastic did it! He held on at the last second with an ingenious move!

Tastic slowly pushes himself up onto the apron as Chris slowly gathers himself on the outside. Tastic rolls into the ring as Referee Akiyama enters the ring and presents him with the WZCW World Heavyweight Championship. The hometown hero grabs hold of the title and drops to his knees as his countrymen cheer loudly as the pyro goes off on the stage before confetti begins falling all around them.

Connor: The hometown hero returned to Puerto Rico, and he walks out, the new WZCW World Heavyweight Champion!

Tastic slowly rises to his feet as he walks over to the turnbuckle, climbing up to the second turnbuckle and lifting the title up high into the air as he yells out in victory. The celebration continues as the confetti finally ends, the party just beginning in Puerto Rico for their hometown son. Mikey Stormrage gets in the ring and raises his buddy up on his shoulders as fans jump in to celebrate as well. Leon Kensworth enters the festivities as well with a mic at hand to interview Matt Tastic.

Leon: Oh my God! Matt Tastic! Nearly 5 years in the making and you finally did it! Congratulations!! What do you have to say?! A lot I'm guessing after winning at home.

Matt gets off Mikey, but Mikey is the one to respond.

Mikey: First, I wanna say how happy I am for Matt but..... Wait a minute....

Mikey turns to Matt who has a comically confused grin on his face.

Mikey:
Home? Matt..... I thought you were Mexican?!!

Matt and the fans are quickly all over Mikey and Matt with the fans by him pour drinks over Mikey before he takes the mic.

Matt: LIVE! MAS!!

Kensworth: What a match we had last year; Matt Tastic, of course, finding the will and the way to claim the victory against all odds and claim the WZCW Heavyweight Championship, too.

Everest: That was special. I think, having the Championship being on the line during that match really brought out the best in everyone. And it did seem to be a coming of age moment for Matt Tastic and really brought him into the upper echelons of the WZCW roster.

Leon nods his head in agreement before picking back up.

Kensworth: Oh, absolutely! And you seen for yourself in that clip, the rapport that Matt Tastic and Mikey Stormrage have between them. Over the last year since the Lethal Lottery, we have seen a lot of things come and go but the constant in WZCW is the love and respect between the two men who make up Live Mas!

The crowd behind Leon and Everest burst into a cheer as the name of Live Mas goes around the arena that is beginning to fill up.

Kensworth: Tonight, they bring that excitement to the battlefield once again and try to claim the Tag Team Championships for themselves. In their way stands one of the most successful tag teams in the history of WZCW; Cerberus.

Again, a reaction comes from the crowd at the mention of the reigning Tag Team Champions' but it is surprisingly mixed.

Everest: Let me tell you something, Leon. I know that Matt Tastic and Mikey Stormrage are great wrestlers. Tastic, as we've pointed out, is a former World Champion and Mikey Stormrage was part of another phenomenal tag team in Strikeforce. But by now, everyone knows the affinity I have for Cerberus. Going back to Team Russia and their escapades, I don't think it takes a genius to see how highly I rate the Tag Champs. They have worked, week in and week out, as a Tag Team and I think that is going to be the telling feature here tonight.

Kensworth: Even against the might of Live Mas?

Everest: Oh, absolutely! This represents the toughest match of their career in so many ways. But should they be properly motivated, this result could send them into the Hall of Fame as the best Tag Team Champions ever.

Leon smiles as the camera returns to him.

Kensworth: Well, let's take a break for a moment as we head back downstairs. Where, I believe, superstars are still picking their numbers...

- - -

We see Noah Ryder enter the room with the tombola; Becky Serra still standing behind it. She offers him a smile but Ryder only offers her an inquisitive glance in return. Slowly but surely, Ryder moves towards the tombola before sticking his hand in. He rotates the balls before picking one out and opening it. With a smile on his face, Ryder gives a nod to Becky and then heads out of the room.

Serra: What a weird guy!

After a second, Ryder re-enters the room and offers the same inquisitive look as before as he slowly moves towards the tombola once again. He slowly tries to put his hand towards the balls again, hoping to pick “for the first time” before he is stopped.

Serra: No!

Ryder looks stunned as Becky shouts from behind her station; her face a mixture of aggression and shock. Ryder slowly nods his head silently and heads back out of the room. The shaking of his head is mirrored by the Ascension GM too as he leaves. After a moment or two, Ryder re-enters the room once again; the same mysterious look on his face.

Serra: Get out!

- - - -

Kensworth: Well, ladies and gentlemen, before we hand you over of a special announcement, let's talk about the remaining two matches on the card for Lethal Lottery. Two matches that have really lit up the Federation and have opened a lot of eyes. Let's start with Johnny Scumm and Garth Black. Since Black's return, it seems as though Johnny Scumm has had an issue with him. Now, both men find themselves gifted with an opportunity to be the number one contender to the EurAsian Champion.

Everest: I have been impressed with both of these guys since their return actually. Now, I know I shouldn't like the way that Scumm has gone about his business since he returned but he has made a name for himself. He seems properly motivated and has even picked up a few high-profile wins. I know how WZCW works and the people who run this place like to see wrestlers who are driven and motivated. Scumm has shown that he is motivated but he might have awoken a beast in Black with his constant attacks. The stage is set for them and the rewards are great.

Kensworth: So let me ask you this, Everest. With everything that has gone before, who does the pressure to win really affect most here tonight?

Everest thinks hard about the question before offering his solution.

Everest:You know, I think it's got to be Scumm. He has picked this fight for a long time and now the match has finally been made official. With what is on the line, a loss here would be embarrassing for him. He faces of against a man who has done it all before in WZCW and he might wish that he had never picked that fight to begin with.

The camera pans back towards both men as Leon fixes some cards in front of him.

Kensworth: Ladies and gentlemen, before we start the Lethal Lottery, let's hand you over to Chris KO for a very special announcement.

Harrys: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this this time, WZCW EurAsian Champion, Chris K.O.!

The crowd cheers as the EurAsian champion makes his way to the ring, his shiny gold belt slung proudly across his shoulder.

Copeland: We understand that Chris has a big announcement to make here tonight before we officially kick off the Lethal Lottery.

Chris makes his way into the ring. A ringside tech hands him a mic and he brings it to his lips, only to stop for a moment and take in the cheers from the crowd.

Chris: Thank you everyone, it truly means a lot that you guys respect and admire me enough to cheer like that. WZCW fans are second to none.

The crowd cheers again, this time in honor of themselves.

Chris: I've been in this company a long time. I've been on the receiving ends of both cheers and boos from you guys, but through it all I never took my eyes off my ultimate goal, winning the WZCW World Heavyweight Championship. This year was going to be my year. After I came so close at last year's Lethal Lottery, I was determined to make sure this year that I won it all. I trained harder than I ever have, worked harder than I thought possible. I pushed myself to limits I wasn't even sure I could reach. All of this was in an attempt to make myself into a World Title contender that you guys could be proud of.

Chris takes a moment before he speaks again.

Chris: It was during that training that I realized I was neglecting the one person who meant more to me than you guys. I was ignoring my fiance, Astrid. I've learned a lot over the past few years, a lot about being both a good and an evil guy. I think the most important lesson I have learned though, is to never push away those who you love, and unfortunately I was doing just that. I had a long talk with Astrid, and I have decided that with my upcoming wedding and my desire to start a family in the near future, that it is in my best interest that I step away from WZCW, effective immediately.

The crowd boos the decision.

Chris: Now I know that this isn't a popular decision. I don't expect you guys to be happy with the decision, but I have to do what is best for myself and my soon to be wife. This isn't to say that I will be away from WZCW forever. I love you guys too much for that. But for the time being I won't be around. I hope in time you can all forgive me.

As Chris lays the EurAsian title on the mat the crowd breaks out in cheers.

Thank You Chris!
Thank You Chris!
Thank you Chris!

Chris walks to the top of the ramp and stops to soak in the applause one last time, tears beginning to form in his eyes. He waves to the crowd before disappearing behind the curtain one last time.

Copeland: Shocking news as Chris K.O. has retired from WZCW just minutes before the Lethal Lottery.

Cohen: What happens to the EurAsian title now that K.O. has decided he can't hack it?

Connor: I guess we will find out as Lethal Lottery kicks off just moments from now.
