Let The Chaos Commence: Your Most Controversial Opinions

Opinions that aren't common on here.

Pro wrestling is fun. I like pro wrestling. I enjoy pro wrestling. I thoroughly enjoy most wrestling shows and matches I watch.

I think Big Show is REALLY good at what he does, same with a large majority of the roster.

MMA and pro wrestling aren't comparable. Their fans don't have the same mindsets. People who hate pro wrestling think that pro wrestling fans think it's real. MMA fans think MMA is more real than it really is (they don't really hate each other, Shamrock/Ortiz was a complete and total scam other than the fights).

i don't understand why the Divas matchs are so boring that the Knockouts at TNA.
When you see Mickie James, she is litteraly transforming since his debut at TNA she makes great matchs against Tara.
I think is a problem in wrestling the TNA company are most serious than WWE for divas,if you except Beth phoenix and karma the rest is poor and miserable.
i am for the end of the Divas at WWE, it's an lost of time and not good to watch.

I hated the Attitude Era, it was stupid more often than not
Ric Flair was overrated. So was Bret Hart
Mark Madden is one of the smartest men in the industry
Triple H is only out for himself, even now as an executive. So is The Rock.
Chris Benoit should be in the HOF
End the Divas division
Stop forcing the growth of pro wrestling. Let it happen organically by showing high quality matches.
Bring back chair shots / head shots
Bring back steroids
More crazy promos (see Warrior, Ultimate)
Chain wrestling more often
No commercials during matches (it dilutes the value of wrestling altogether)
Let heels get heat by powerbombing divas
Bring real actors in and train them to wrestle - the product will be more entertaining overall

I am not a fan of Goldberg by any stretch of the imagination, but he was the hottest thing WCW had at that time. Did you hear the Georgia crowd when Goldberg got the pin. The pop was massive. He got massive pops everytime he cam out to add to his streak. The mistake they made was ending his streak when they did and how they did. Hall stunning him with a cattle prod so Nash could get the win. Also some would argue that Hogan was more of a problem during the end more so than the solution.

Exactly! that's why its a controversial opinion. They totally fucked that up when goldberg beat Hogan, the smart thing to do would've been for Hogan to win and goldberg to win the belt from him at the next ppv. They had nowhere to go with Goldberg after that and that's why they didn't go anywhere. You can't go somewhere when there's nowhere to go.

There's also no denying that wcw floundered worse than ever once Hogan was actually gone. Hogan wasn't a problem and the people who argue he was are wrong plain and simple. There's nothing better than having the most famous wrestler of all time on the roster, the problem was management and the way things were being run. If Hogan got it his way things probably would've gotten better and they were pretty good while he was getting his way let me tell you. What happened was Hogan went away injured and his nwo wasn't interesting without him and started to tank. Then when he came back there were new people being in charge who didn't know what the fuck they were doing and he had to share with them. I know the fans wanted Hogan to win at bash at the beach against Jeff Jarrett and russo fucked it up by acting like a baby. Hogan wasn't even the one acting like a baby in the end, he was just doing what he knew would work and vince russo couldn't hack being wrong. WCW seriously sucked to the max after that incident. Myself and almost every one of my friends never watched wcw again after that and a large percentage of fans did the same. The belt wasn't even the belt anymore.

Very controvertial I guess, but one I'll stand by till the day I die, Randy Savage's best run was in WCW when he joined the nWo. I could never get behind him in the WWF, too cartoony..too "hogan". He comes out on Nitro in the black and white and starts dropping promo gold about "the madness" like he's lost his mind, I popped...Huuuge. Disagree? Go on youtube and look up "Randy savage return Nitro", he hops the rail, out of the blue on Nitro, runs everyone off with a chair, then takes a seat in the middle of the ring. Tony Schiavone's losing his mind calling for security, Chavo gets in the ring to try and talk Savage down...Savage stands up, not a word said, barely even a look...the place POPS. His feud with DDP was great, his fued with Hogan over control of the nWo was great...their cage match at Uncensored '98 is sublime, it feels like the most brutal match in the world, two heavyweight super athletes trying to destroy the other, the ending mexican stand-off with Him and sting looking holes through Hogan and the Disciple is pro wrestling at it's best. His feud with Bret Hart was unreal, their..is it a street fight? With Roddy Piper as guest referee is stunning.

I'm going to chip in with some more here I will begin with the probably less controversial in that Brock Lesnar was vastly overrated. He couldn't talk at all, Paul Heyman was a huge part of him getting over and he couldn't carry a match or make his opponents look good (see Goldberg), in fact I'd go as far as to say the majority of the time he needed to be carried.

He was basically a strong guy with a tremendous physique, no different from other guys like Zeke or Lashley and substantially less talented than Batista. I believe that had he stayed longer he would have been found out and his popularity and appeal would have diminsihed greatly, he would not be a face of the company.

Opinion number 2: The Undertaker is overrated. Don't get me wrong I respect his tenure with the company, his athleticism for his size, his streak and his accomplishments but for all that he just doesn't excite me. On the mic I find him incredibly boring, he drags everything out most of all his entrance during which you could probably fit in another modern day match. I liked his gimmick and his work in the MOD but since then I havn't really enjoyed any of his personas least of all the American Badass which I thought was a cringeworthy travesty, resembling a mid-life crisis.

In spite of being around for so long he has never carried the company and never been one of it's absolute top stars like a Hart, Rock, HBK, Austin and I think this testifies to his inability to entertain on the mic. I also think that while the streak is great and has become a big thing in recent years it, it tends to make people forget that he has had some horrible WM matches Mark Henry, Big Show/A-Train and Psycho Sid anyone?

I'm not saying I don't think he's been a great superstar and that I don't respect his legacy etc I just think at times his talent has bene overestimated.
