Lady Gaga Is The Brian Pillman Of The Music Industry.

The Shark Should've Worked in WCW
Now, get your heads out of your asses before you make the decision to debate against this. Most of you will say I'm not giving Brian Pillman enough credit, and that comparing him to a poppy singer is not a fair comparison. Accept this fact; 'm speaking merely about the created characters of both individuals, and only that. Those of you that want to get pissy because I took Brian Pillman, who some of you idolize on this forum, and compared him to a singer who "can't sing" and "totally sux", that's completey fine. But I'm sure you'll all realize, this is exactly true, and that while you may not like it, you have to accept it.

You see, a long time ago, Brian Pillman needed a way to feed his five children. He needed to pay child support on them all, most of them out other relationships, and realized his salary at WCW wasn't going to cut. He also realized he didn't have much time, and that he'd need to become a star instantly. His matches were great, but most of the brass at WCW and WWE probably thought he was too small for the business. So what did Brian Pillman do? He tried to outsmark the smark. He played upon what was fantasy and reality, and reworked the script so you didn't know what was real. Hell, half the time, not even the man he was working for, Eric Bischoff, knew what was going on, even though he was in on the whole fucking thing. Brian became so famous for being the Loose Cannon; his main claim to fame wasn't exactly in his artistic work, but rather the way in which he worked the world into believing he was smarter than the wrestling business. Though Brian had ample talent in the ring, he decided to climb the ladder of fame through one way; shock value. Riddle me this; When Brian Pillman was mad over, in 1996, exactly how many matches did he wrestle? Maybe five, six tops? Yet, everyone went bat shit crazy over the guy, and thought he'd be the next big thing in wrestling. Really, Pillman never fully showed his substance, in comparison to the shock value he stirred. And in his get rich quick scheme, he fooled the world, and cashed in big time.

Which brings me to Lady Gaga. She, like Pillman, has all the talent in the world. Self taught to play piano at four, the girl has an intrinsic taste for music, and a creative mind to say the least. The girl can actually sing, behind the bubble gum music, and the record company's force feeding of her quirks in a dire attempt to create the next David Bowie (Credit to you, Shadowmancer.) Still, it's undeniable the girl has talent. Still, she wants the Fame as much as anyone, pardon the pun. She may love the performance, but it's also not too shabby to get payed the the mind numbing numbers in which she does. So how does she keep this swirl of attention, sales, and overall adoration going? Simple; she makes it difficult to separate the fact from the fiction. For most people, it becomes like a damn puzzle, trying to separate the fact from the fiction in this girl's life. Is she really as bat shit crazy as she portrays herself? Or is this merely a ploy to get the attention? She's been said that every morning, she wakes up at Gaga, but at what line does the Gaga end, and the real person begin. Is the character as tied to the person as most people believe, or is it an illusion? It toys with the mind, trying to find out how this creation is. And all the while. Gaga isn't selling merely because of her substance; it's by the mere tool called shock value. Both she and Brian Pillman have used (and abused) shock value for a rise to the top, in the wake of using complete substance. Deny it all you want; kick, cry, scream at me as much as you'd like.

But just accept it's true.... Brian Pillman and Lady Gaga are one in the same.
