lack of enthusiasm killing wrestlers return

This announce team has to be the absolute worst at getting wrestlers returns over...First christian and now DH Smith...the return of these superstars is so anti-climactic its unbelievable. With a good Joey Styles "OH MY GOD!!!" These returns would be the big news that they are meant to be. With christian thats the case, with DH Smith it would have at least been given the allusion of being big. I think one of these two announcers has got to go, i mean i know u know its coming but come on, show some enthusiasm announcers...how has vince not gotten on their ass for this yet is beyond me..it just kills the wrestlers return or debut...even if not over the top like joey styles, look back at any old videotape of a return and you will feel like its a big deal just by the announcers tone.

Christian didn't need all the pomp and circumstance. It was evident to me at WM XXV that he was INSANELY over with the Houston crowd, the most over in that match. When he won the belt from Swagger, he got an ENORMOUS pop.

With DH Smith, even if the announcers would have acted like he was Stone Cold or The Rock, the pop from the live audience wouldn't have been any difference. As is the case with Smith, most people won't remember him from his lackluster run on Raw, and his invisible run on Smackdown. He is just a new guy. He isn't going to get Hulk Hogan pop when he runs out.

ECW, in my opinion, actually has the best set of announcers on TV. Striker and Mathews are students of the game, and they call an interesting broadcast. Cole and Lawler are terrible, and JR and Grisham are very good. But Striker is the best announcer on TV right now, and Mathews could evolve into something better than he already is.
