Krystal Marshall Released!

I can confirm that Kristal Marshall was let go by WWE. She was dating Lashley and was just involved in a major storyline. We don't have anything more.

As seen on the Wrestlezone main page. This begs the question to be asked. With Krystal now gone, does that mean Vicky Guerrero will be short to follow? They were involved in what some would consider a major storyline on Smackdown, but without Krystal (who assumably played Teddy Long) how can they continue the storyline?

What is everyone's thoughts on Krystal's release, how will it effect others (namely Teddy Long & Vicky Guerrero) & what do you feel will happen next for Krystal?

i think it was a bad idea to fire kristal she had something she had promise.
i could see something in her that would make her a good part of the wwe womens division she had a different look and she played a heel and face pretty well and was actually learning to wrestle pretty well i thought and now it just totally ruins the big teddy hart, vicky guerrero story line it was pretty stupid and she's dating bobby lashley so why fire her?

Out of all that, the only real issue there is the connection between Krystal in storylines with Teddy LONG (not Hart, unless you know a spoiler I didn't) & Vickie Guerrero.

Who cares if she's dating Bobby Lashley? I doubt highly that Lashley is going to say "Hey, you fired her.. I'm gone too." That in itself is a reminder of Torrie Wilson's marriage to Billy Kidman. (Kidman was released, Torrie stayed - shortly thereafter, Torrie released Kidman too)

Krystal could play a nice heel, but in my opinion even with Vickie & the "play-up" to Teddy Long.. I never believed her to be a good face. She just doesn't seem to have the personality to be a good person.. lol

I honestly feel bad for Vickie, because she isn't exactly "diva pretty" but she's doing a great on-camera job, & I like her in the GM role. Hell, tonight on Smackdown, her w/ Noble was completely funny stuff. I'm sure, hopefully anyways, W.W.E. will keep Vickie on as something.. even if its not on-camera.

I don't see why they keep Vickie (who I think is horrible in her segments and obviously isn't a looker) in the spotlight, nor do I see why they kept Krystal this long either. I haven't seen Krystal do anything worth a paycheck in a long time and she's obviously not pushing the wrestling aspect any further.

They need to start toning down the soap opera story crap and start wrestling some more...and hopefully, canning Krystal means we've canned another waste of space. Granted, the girl was hot, but unless you make her a manager for someone with talent or have her wrestle if she was gifted enough, there's no real point to keep her.

I can't actually see them even mentioning this on Smackdown. T.Lo will just come back one day with amnesia. Or they'll pull the switcharoo and change Kristal for someone similar looking like Michelle McCool. 'Taker will get her the spot, there dating now.

Would this "switcharoo" include black body paint for one McCool? Or do you just figure they'll play it off as if Krystal was never truly black? Similar to the way they played Katie Vick outta storylines, & how they never truly explaned Kane's demasking at Summerslam 2001, when he still had hair, yet no mask.. only to, two years later, demask him as a bald guy?

Honestly, maybe its just me.. but I can FULLY see W.W.E. doing an angle where they reveal Vickie Guerrero & Teddy Long having an affair, & thus the reasoning behind Krystal's release!?

Aww, Jake that meant she really loved you. At times mine is just kinda turning bitchy-er, & bitchy-er.. weight hasn't been a huge issue with me, because she's not "whale-like" but I'm keeping tabs.. I'm secretly spiking her drink with leptopril. LOL

Don't fool yourself though, Teddy hasn't been the mack daddy he once was.. you know, when he managed Rodney Mack, at least then he had Jazz.

I think wwe might have just screwed up a major storyline. They could have at least had kristal return and her and vickie would explain how they knew Teddy had a heart condition so they spiked him viagra and what not. Then have Vickie suddenly fire kristal and say shes the only gm around here. Kristal would be fired and vickie would get heat which would help her turn into a gm heel. I dunno i just think they could have used this storyline to get vickie over better(either face or heel) hell if they wanted vickie to stay face have her find out it was kristal would tried to kill teddy and get vickie to fire her thus getting over as a face? I dunno butn Kristal isn't a huge loss, since she sucked at wrestling but she was super hot. All in all she will probably just be forgotton. Also maybe this is just the wwe's way to get her on to raw? maybe? probably not?

I mean, it's fairly obvious that, given they were in the middle of a huge story with her, that she did something to warrant being let go. I can't imagine they just pull names out of a hat.

I've heard she's got an attitude. So I wouldn't be surprised that a large storyline and a superstar boyfriend went to her head. She probably thought she was invincible. It's no great loss, most of the women in WWE are interchangable anyway.

There really hasn't been any "proof" that Kristal's been released. She might just be kept off TV because of the Teddy Long angle- who knows? If she is released then the best of luck to her. I always thought she was on of the better ones to come out of the DS.

Well they reported it on the main site(wz), which doesnt always mean its true, but I think Kristal is done with the wwe. It could just be the wwe planting seeds and saying she was release by smackdown and in a month she appears on raw(since lashley's there) but i highly doubt it. WWE creative isn't umm....creative enough to think of that, there way to predictable.

I'm on the "She's jumping ship" ship. I only think the rumors are going around so that we're caught of guard when she does arrive at RAW some day. Weather anyone will admit it, the WWE has actually been tossing some shockers out there in the past few weeks. Hardcore Holly returning, HBK returning, and if jericho returns on RAW before or after CS, that'd be cool.

Krystal who? Kidding. The only impact this will have is the Teddy Long storyline. I think they will be able to make it without her anyway. Hopefully they put Teddy in a better storyline when he comes back. I dont really care much otherwise. Hopefully her husband follows in her footsteps.

BullSh!t!! i LOVED Krystal..she was different...showed actual talent in the ring and on the mic..i hated the storyline she was in..but it was a main storyline..so it makes no sense they would get rid of her...especially forthe gay reason that ive been hearing in rumors.

I'm not sure either about Kristal being released bcuz I just looked for her profile and it looks as its no longer there with the rest of the superstars on the SD roster since everyone's names including her's would be in alphabetical order. I guess we'll just have to wait and see though what really happened to her to see if she has been released or not.
