Know any good shows/documentaries on YouTube?

Dowdsy McDowds

Sally was here
I watched Blackfish again at the weekend and I'm in the mood for some more documentaries if anyone knows of any that are doing the rounds on YouTube/DailyMotion?

Depends what you're into. I watch a lot of review stuff but that might not be your thing.

I also watch a lot of music documentaries. Montage Of Heck is pretty good and the Soaked In Bleach one is pretty interesting for what it is. Then there's the 30 Seconds To Mars Artifact one

There's also this one on Mitch Lucker from Suicide Silence. It's only half an hour to be fair

The Banksy one is pretty good as well (Exit Through The Gift Shop)

As was said, it depends on what you're into. I just recently watched Never Sleep Again: the Elm Street Legacy on YouTube. It's almost 4 hours long and it's cut into several parts but it's on there. After watching it on YouTube, though, I found out it was on Netflix. I was pissed at that point.

If you like documentaries though and you're a wrestling fan, which I assume you are (I could be wrong), then I suggest watching any of the number of shoot interviews from various wrestlers that are on YouTube. They're amazing and highly entertaining. I could watch them for days.

I'm pretty much open to any suggestions really - music, wrestling, history, conspiracy theories etc.

Montage of Heck was pretty dam good. The style was reminiscent of the Bill Hicks: American documentary, which is also very cool.

I've bookmarked a couple of podcasts and Santino's shoot preview as well as some pre-Hogan TNA stuff.

There's a BBC3 documentary about Fergal Devitt called Smack Em Up on the iPlayer. The documentaries about ICW so hopefully this one is done in that vein too.

The documentary about the Rangers-Celtic rivalry is fascinating.

Also, while not on youtube, check out The Two Escobars from ESPNs 30 for 30.

It's an old one but....Loose Change is pretty good conspiracy viewing. Another one is called Greatest JFK Documentary Ever. A must view for JFK Conspiracy buffs, the work put into his claim is jaw dropping...as is the final result.

Highly recommend Making a Murderer on Netflix as well. When done of all ten episodes, check out the YouTube videos of extra things people have discovered, very interesting.

This may be a little niche, but Will Wheaton has a cool show where he plays tabletop games with comedians and other geek culture types. Aptly titled TableTop. I'm a huge board game geek, so I love it.

If you want to go beyond the barrier of entertainment or an educational documentary this is an actual copy of "Do" detailing and explaining the beliefs of Heaven's Gate. The notorious "UFO Cult" who made not only national, but global news for a mass suicide of him and his followers. It's kind of an odd watch, but it certainly does allow you to look into these people. Same channel has his other videos as well as his followers giving their final words, before their "exit".

This is a film produced in a slum of Uganda and is all D.I.Y. It's an action cinema and despite it obviously being oddly put together it made everyone happy and it's interesting and enjoyable to watch just due to the hilariously obvious green screen and the people's reactions. I think you can appreciate it beyond the comedy just knowing what was behind it.

Vice made a mini-documentary on the film maker:

Vice is really good for documentaries on almost anything from rappers Action Bronson and Tyler the Creator reacting to Ancient Aliens to detailing the life of people in South America living in sewers to avoid capture and death by death squads.
