It was confirmed that they will be joined by Austin Reynolds and Chris Beckford as a reward for coming in second place of the leagues of which were decided at the Megashow. Who will survive the Chamber and go on to be King For A Day?

Only one RP is allowed for this match

Imagine this first part to be a hype video shown on WZCW.com, with a voiceover, credit to Theo Mays for his help with the images.

WZCW’s Kingdom Come is the premier pay-per-view event in the industry today. Stars are made, legends are told and champions are crowned. It’s the battleground that sets the bar for the next year.

Kingdom Come is where ultimate chances are taken and in the end, heroes walk out to be remembered in the annals of history. That is the ultimate be all and or all for everyone in the company.

But for some, there is a dream to attain not just the main event status or the respect that victory on a superior stage can bring. Some people want it all. Is that too much to ask?

Hell no.

You gotta reach for beyond the stars. You have to go for the big pay day and aim to surpass your own record setting standards.

For Austin Reynolds, aiming to be superlative is everyday life. He doesn’t accept doing things by halves. Defeat is unacceptable, excuses are not for him and substandard performances are foreign in his world. In his own words, he couldn’t be as dull as you if he tried.

The Ratings Thriller is now guaranteeing a stunning victory for his millions of fans around the world, because he knows that he is the only realistic chance of delivering five star matches and gold standard quality at a main event level. Austin believes that he will deliver the righteous triumph, which will ensure his place in history.

The video is paused on the final image.

“I love it!”

“Really baby?” Hayley turns off the TV as Austin hugs her tightly.

“Oh my god yes! And you did this for me?”

“Well Dom pulled a few favours but yeah, it was my idea. I wrote it and picked up the archive footage.”

Austin grabs her and this time, he pulls her in for a deep, intense kiss. He was speechless and didn’t like prolonged silences. But this was so unexpected of her. She had never shown much of an interest in his career and this made him proud beyond expression.

“And I got an old college friend to mix together!” She smiles as she assuredly pushes a stray lock of her brunette hair back into place. “Wow, I should do this more often.”

“You really should!” Austin hugs her again.

“I only wonder what would happen if you win.”

“Well I think I’d....erm, we would.......to celebrate, we would go somewhere and......celebrate.” Austin is flustered. Not by the question as he knows exactly how he would apply his number one contendership but at the same time, the very thought of advancing their relationship was a shock but not something that scared him. He had never thought of marriage yet at the same time, it was making more and more sense. He was content and happy. Hayley was a huge part of that, providing the rock alongside his steady ascent of professional career development.

“Baby, breathe ok?” She brings him back to something resembling reality with a playful poke in the chest. “You just think about your match. You are naturally thrilling to me. We just need to make sure you show that the rest of the world at the pay-per-view, k?”

But Austin had already spent the past week thinking about the match. He was back in his home town of London and was watching the ring crew work on the famous football turf from the warmth of his own executive box at the prestigious new Wembley Stadium.

“This King for a Day is going to make one superstar very happy. It’s not just going to make their day but their entire year. It will set their career for the A-list, the main event spot for which we all crave.”

It is clear that Austin is in a confident mood and his self-assured swagger is in place. He rubs his eye beneath his trademark aviator sunglasses.

“But we all know that Austin Reynolds was born for this spot. I am the most spectacular athlete in the company and I am used to gracing the highest stage with skills the likes of which have never been seen until my arrival. Kingdom Come will be the grandest opportunity yet to show why Austin Reynolds is better than everyone on the roster. The chamber will not confine me; in fact it will only serve to widen the platform on which my ability will be broadcast to the watching world.”

Big words from not a big guy but typically Austin. Always time in a promo to hype himself over everyone else.

“So five men stand between me and what I will claim as mine. Five men, whose dream drives their desire to demonstrate their skills. These five men will claim to be almost as good as anyone in the company on their day and I say almost because they have all spent the last year in mediocrity, to the point where I don’t know where to begin.”

Austin removes the sunglasses and allows the bright winter sunshine to fill his eyes. He takes a second before looking deep in the camera as if looking at each of his opponents individually.

“I guess I better go with the big man who thinks he is at the top of the food chain. Lars, you made a name for yourself in the same match last year but where has that gotten you exactly? A right to call yourself favourite? Maybe, but you cannot call yourself a champion and I can tell you something right now. I am better than everyone who was in this match last year and better than everyone than you have faced since then. I am already a champion of the people. Wembley will realise that you are an insignificant failure, whose chance to main event disappeared with others such as the Grand Mystique and Murfish. Your drive to achieve vengeance will cause you to fall eternally short.”

“And if Showtime David Cougar, a somewhat kindred spirit to myself, can overcome you with style and panache then be ready to endure déjà vu on the grandest stage of all.”

Austin thinks for a moment, what it will feel like to have eighty-something-odd thousand of his English fans cheering him and being able to take the time to see one of their hometown heroes live and in the flesh in a match of such importance.

“So what of USA? Will Ulysses make the most of the luck that put him in this position? No, you will be exposed as a corrupt symbol of the country that you represent, like a perverted old man distracted by a big ass and a cute pair of titties, you will be helpless to watch as I walk off with the prize. The stars and stripes that you wear so proudly will be sunk by the onrushing tsunami that is my success. The sheer fact that you will enter this match on the same level as me is sickening and I relish the chance to show the only entertaining thing about USA is how brilliantly I take you out of the running to be King for a Day.”

Austin was no patriot but he knew that Ulysses S. Adams represented a lot of things. And while Austin was happy to live and work in the US, in his opinion, which Austin was never shy to give, it could be an f**ked up place to be sometimes.

“And I know Corey Payne will think they were made for a match in a cage. Him and Beckford are in it to make the rest of us look great, not that I need them. Let me tell you how this goes. Payne comes in, kicking and yelling about breaking some bones, Beckford prances about, saying that he had just met the Queen for afternoon tea on his day to a proper big city. So Jermaine...., I mean Chris, you will find out exactly why the bright lights of my home town make everything look second rate.”

He chuckles darkly as he recalls a previous visit to Leeds which left him in no hurry to go back.

“Corey will wrestle like he is in an octagon and the match may never leave the mat. And Beckford will just about survive until I come in to kick out off the asses out of my match!”

Austin begins to pace the room as if he was in his dressing room, bubbling over with excited anticipation. His speech quickens.

“You ladies have no chance. You don’t have the pedigree and the ratings back me up. The fans say you stink and they turn over because you can’t get people interested in you or your matches. Even if you two had qualified for this weeks ago; it took a real star like me to get genuine interest in this. There’s a WORLD TITLE shot on the line. People should be hyping this match up for weeks and until there was a chance of me getting into this match, there was nothing. You could hear the tumbleweed, just like the crowd reaction when you enter the ring! But now there is a real buzz. No longer will people be going to the toilet or the merch stand during your match. People will stay around, butts will stay in seats until I raise the arch off Wembley Stadium, having kicked your asses all over the chamber.”

And you’re back in the room...... That little rant over with, Austin calms down, ready to address his final target.

“And Tylah Burnah, don’t think I will leave you out of this for just one second. You and Vengeance seem to have been the picks in recent weeks. And I use the past tense because that is all you are to me. You have been stuck in the mid card here for months now. You think I am scared of what you can do to me? I say be worried about what fate has in store for you. I’m going to fly my way around the ring and show you what it means to have a personality that connects with the masses. Your future is just like your past, you and your career will burn in mid card hell because I’m taking this match sky high, just like the buyrates, so hang on for the ride and you might just learn something.”

Austin leans forward to examine the activity in the stadium. The ring has been assembled and the crew are applying the final touches to the ringside area. He looks around the stadium proudly. He sees it as a home arena that he had visited time and time again, now set up especially for him to perform.

“There is no escaping the fact that no matter when I enter this match, I am going right to the end. I don’t care if I have to go bell to bell or be the last man in. I can go through one of you or all of you. There can be all five of you in there or just one left. It doesn’t matter to me. I’m taking what is feted to be mine because Austin Reynolds being the top guy is what is best for the company.”

“The time for talking is coming to an end and soon I will allow my talent to do it for me yet again. It will be my finest hour!”

The image fades as Austin walks away.

The setting is an arena in Paris, France. It is currently the location of the WZCW Meltdown/Ascension Megashow. But instead of seeing a wrestling match, we see the backstage area of this arena. The camera focuses on the curtain that separates the Gorilla Position from the entrance ramp. Suddenly, “Prototype” Corey Payne limps through the curtain, grimacing in pain. He was just eliminated from the ten man tag team elimination match he was in. Thoughts of this match flash through his mind.

The crowd starts getting behind Payne as Lars applies a rear chinlock. Payne starts to fade as the ref checks him, but he suddenly gets to one knee. He elbows Lars in the midsection and then gets to his feet. He punches Lars and suddenly hits a roundhouse kick, knocking Lars down while Payne drops as well. Both men begin crawling to their corners, Payne reaches out to tag in Ty, but Ty suddenly pulls his hand away. Payne pulls himself to his feet and limps to the corner, jawing away at Ty again. Ty suddenly connects with a right hook that knocks Payne backwards, and gets lifted up by Lars and dropped with the "Sacrilegious Desecration". He covers Payne, and gets the three count.

Payne’s eyes fill with rage as he plays this over in is mind again and again. He limps through the Gorilla Position and goes deeper backstage. He wanders around until he finds a steel folding chair in the corner of a hallway. Payne gazes at the chair, relieved that he does not have to walk any longer. Prototype gingerly sits in the chair, making sure he doesn’t injure his knee any further. Payne sits down in the chair and starts to rub his throbbing knee. Corey thinks about why his knee is currently injured.

Lars picks Payne up and lifts him up and connects with a power slam. Payne lands awkwardly on his leg and suddenly grabs at his thigh wincing in pain.

Remembering this moment causes discomfort to rack Corey’s knee as he winces. Suddenly an official looking man walks up to Corey.

Official Looking Man: (in a French accent) Mr. Payne, my name is Dr. Roux. I am commission doctor for arena. You seem to be hurt. What is problem?

Payne: (sighs) During my match, I was slammed and landed on my right knee. I have had problems before with my knee and I am afraid it is hurt again.

Dr. Roux: If you let me take look at knee, I may be able to diagnose problem.

Payne: Sure.

Dr. Roux starts to examine Payne’s knee. As Roux pokes and prods, we see the distress on Payne’s face. After a few minutes, Roux gives his prognosis.

Dr. Roux: Well, it’s injured, but there’s no significant damage. You be fine.

Payne: (sighs) Ok. Thanks.

As Roux walks away, seemingly proud of his A-plus analysis, Payne rolls his eyes.

Payne: (mumbling to himself) Well he was a great help. I guess a bag of ice and some sleep can fix this.

With that, Prototype cautiously gets up and hobbles away.
************************************************************************
The scene opens up to a dark room. Suddenly, a lamp flicks on. Corey is sitting on the edge of a bed in what seems to be a hotel room. He is in only his boxers and is covered in sweat. He gazes at the alarm clock on the nightstand. It is not a digital clock, and its numbers are represented by Roman numerals. He makes out the time.

Payne: (exasperated and worried) 4:52 AM. I didn’t get any sleep yet. Something is wrong with me.

Payne glances around the room for his cell phone. He finds it on a table a few feet away, connected to its charger. It is not in reach of him. Corey gets a worried look on his face, and he slowly starts to get up from his bed. He puts his left foot first. But when he puts his right foot down, his knee buckles.

Payne drops to the floor like a rock and a loud pop is heard. Payne lets out an agonizing cry as the torturous pain spreads through his knee like panic. Payne tries to get back up by using the mattress for support, but his knee gives out again, giving out more spasms. In a tremendous amount of pain, Corey struggles to sit up. He looks down at his knee. It is a pinkish color and is swollen to the size of a cantaloupe. Anger and worry fills Payne, as he fears the worst.

Payne: FUCK!!!!
************************************************************************
The next scene is an airport. The Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, to be exact. The camera settles on Tyson James, who is standing near the arrival gate, waiting around. Tyson looks like he hasn’t slept for a while, and has an apprehensive look on his face. He spots Corey and runs toward him. Corey is wearing dark sunglasses a Tapout hoodie, and sweatpants. He is walking lamely on crutches.

James: Corey! Are you feeling a little better?

Payne: The painkillers the commission doctor gave me helped some, but my knee is still killing me. But it doesn’t hurt as bad as last time.

Both men get an uncomfortable look on their faces.

James: Where did you get the crutches?

Payne: Trevor had an old pair handy, for some reason. I adjusted them for my size.

James: Well, whatever. Come on. We gotta get your MRI done. You had it at the Cleveland Clinic last time. Might as well get it here again.

Payne: (takes a deep breath, then takes up a fearful tone) What if… what if the knee is gone?

James: We’ll just have to wait and see.

With that both men slowly start to leave the airport, the future uncertain, as the camera fades.
**********************************************************************
The next scene opens with a cell phone ringing. It is Prototype’s cell phone. Corey is sitting in a chair in Tyson James’ office at the Tyson James Training Facility. It is a few days after Corey’s trip to the Cleveland Clinic. He looks down at the caller ID, and it shows a Cleveland area code. Payne gets a strained look on his face, and he answers the phone.

Payne: (swallows nervously) Hello?

Voice: Corey? It’s Dr. Adams from the Cleveland Clinic. How’s your knee feeling?

Payne: Better. Did you get my results?

Dr. Adams: Yes we did. Now the damage isn’t as bad as last time. The ACL is fine, but you tore a lot of cartilage.

Payne: (takes a deep breath) What’s gonna happen with wrestling?

Dr. Adams: Well, in a normal sport, you should wait about 2 months before even doing any moderate activity. But wrestling isn’t a normal sport. I would wait about 3-4 months before returning to the ring.

Payne: (lowers his head) That isn’t what I hoped I would hear.

Dr. Adams: Sorry Corey. I’ll call you if I get any more details.

Payne: Ok. Bye.

Prototype hangs up the phone and gets an upset look on his face. Suddenly, Tyson enters the room.

James: Hey. (looks at Corey’s melancholy face) What’s wrong?

Payne: Dr. Adams called and he got my test results. I tore cartilage in my knee and he thinks I shouldn’t wrestle for 3-4 months.

James: (looking at his shoes) Oh. I’m sorry. (puts his hand on Corey’s shoulder) I know how bad you wanted this. Just wait until you heal. You’ll be back with a vengeance.

Payne: (gets a defiant look on his face) Ty, I didn’t say that I was going to listen to him.

James: (as a look of disbelief and carefulness covers his face) No! Corey, you can’t wrestle. I mean, I know how proud you are of being in the King For A Day match, but wrestling now can cause permanent damage.

Payne: I know you have my best interest in mind, but I need this. This is a once in a lifetime chance. (with pleading eyes) I will not let this slip away. I have let something like this get way from me before when it was in my grasp and I have always regretted it. I need to wrestle at Kingdom Come.

James: But still….

Payne: (cutting off his uncle) I am a grown man Ty. I can make my own decisions.

Both men are quiet for a few minutes until Tyson breaks the silence.

James: You’re right. You are a grown man that can think for himself. I can’t make all of your choices. Now even though I think this is not a good choice, if you think it’s the right one, go for it. I’ll help you train.

But please, please….. Tell me you will be careful.

Payne: I will Ty. (hugs his uncle) I will.

After they embrace for a few seconds, both men leave the room, Prototype being ready to tackle the biggest obstacle of his career.
************************************************************************
The last scene opens. We faintly hear wrestling action going on here at Wembley Stadium, but the location the camera is at is the locker room of “Prototype” Corey Payne. Corey is seated next to Tyson James and is preparing for his upcoming King For A Day Elimination Chamber match later tonight here at Kingdom Come. Corey is finishing taping his wrists and hands with athletic tape when Leon Kensworth enters the room.

Kensworth: Hey Corey. I wanted to interview you before the King For A Day match.

Payne: (puts down the tape and grabs a huge knee brace) Go ahead.

Kensworth: First, I am going to ask you the question everyone is dying to know. We all heard about what happened to your knee. What is your condition going into the biggest match of your career?

Payne: (starts to strap the brace to his right knee) Well, I gotta tell you. My knee is definitely not 100 percent. I suffered a very serious injury. But it will not get in the way of me reaching my goal. And that goal, of course, is to be King For A Day.

Kensworth: What are your thoughts on your five opponents in this match?

Payne: (finishes putting on the brace and slowly gets up and walks over to his locker) I guess I will start with Lars Reidar.

Lars, at the Megashow, you injured my knee with a powerslam. Now, I don’t know if you meant to hurt my knee or if it was an accident, but you still hurt me. Not only that, but you pinned me and eliminated me from the match. You are a great wrestler, and the only one with King For A Day experience that is in the match this year. You may think that you will walk into this match and easily win. But you’re wrong. Lars, I have made a career of fighting in cages. So you’re not the only one that has experience being behind steel chain. So tonight, we will see who is better in the cage. And not to be cocky, but I think that it will be me.

Next is USA. Now USA is a highly trained marine and I respect him for serving our country. He can also adapt to any situation. USA may think that this will give him an advantage. USA has probably taken a huge amount of punishment in combat. But that will pale in comparison to what I do to you later tonight. I will do anything to win this match, and if that means taking you out, so be it.

Another man to look out for in this match is Chris Beckford. Chris is a very good friend of mine. I was glad when I saw that he made this match. I was glad to see him get an opportunity. But being my friend will not change my approach towards you. Chris, if you get in the way of me reaching my goal, we will have a problem. And even though I like you, I won’t be afraid of making you feel the pain.

Now to Austin Reynolds. Austin, you have great talent. But you are very cocky and have no clue what is awaiting you. The cage is a devastating place, and you don’t seem to know that. You will not have anywhere to run. It will be harder to back up your words when your back is against the wall. I heard what you said about me. That I’m there to make you look good, that I have no chance. You said that I yell about breaking bones. Well, unlike you, I back up my words. If I say I’m going to hurt you, I will. And Austin, tonight
(chuckles) I will hurt you.

I will now address my last opponent, the one that I have the biggest beef with. That would be Ty Burna. At Meltdown 35, you defeated me. Then, at the Megashow, we were on the same team. And you not only put your hands on me near the beginning of the match, you refused to tag me in when I was injured and put your hands on me again. This caused me to get pinned. This also could have caused my knee to get hurt even more. Now Burna, you may be proud of what you helped cause. You may think that my injury writes me off as threat to you in this match. But let me tell you something Ty: at the Megashow, you made the biggest mistake of your life.

Burna, I’m like a wild animal. And you made the mistake of pissing of the wild animal. Later tonight, that wild animal will be put in a cage. That will make it angrier. And this animal needs to unleash its anger. And Ty, that animal will unleash his anger on you.

Tonight, 6 men will enter the King For A Day Elimination Chamber. And one will walk out King For A Day. And that person will be “The Prototype” Corey Payne.

Kensworth: Thanks for your time Corey. Good luck tonight.

Payne: (as Leon leaves) Thanks. Bye.

As Leon leaves, a stagehand enters the room.

Stagehand: Mr. Payne, Myles says King For A Day will start in about 5 minutes, so be ready.

Payne nods as he hobbles over to his gear bag. He grabs a bottle of water and a container of what seems to be painkillers. He puts a few in his mouth and he downs them with a gulp of water.

Payne: Show time!

James: (shakes Corey’s hand) Good luck.

Payne: Thanks.

With that, Payne takes a deep breath and leaves the room as the camera fades to black.

The scene slowly fades from black to a black raven landing on top of a steel fence on a dark snowy night. The camera zooms in on the raven, seeing it's eye twitch back and forth. It begins to caw as it walks slowly across chain links. A soft voice begins speaking over the scene.

The dark king of birds, the raven sits upon a cold and lonely throne. Yet it does not complain about it's perceived evil rather it relishes upon the supposed pain and darkness it brings upon the unwilling. To some it is a god, a creator, and to some it is a destroyer, a sign of death.

The camera zooms out and refocuses on Ty Burna walking alongside the chain link fence. The raven caws once more before flying from its spot on the fence onto a perched position on Ty's shoulder. Ty's head is lowered, his black hair being coated with white snow.

It is also said that the raven was Odin's eyes and ears, keeping watch over Midgar and delivering news to the Norsk gods' king. No matter how you look at it, the raven holds far more significance than any other bird of bright colors. What does this have to do with my ever so important match at Kingdom Come?

He raises his head and grins sadistically into the camera, the raven upon his shoulder spreading its wings momentarily.

Everything. It is proof within the mythos of ancient civilizations that the dark and inconspicuous being is the one that survives and reigns over those that are perceived to be more beautiful and important. And this is exactly what will happen in the King for a Day match. The peacock like flashiness of Austin Reynolds will mold under my carnivorous tendencies, and he will become nothing more than feed to the almighty Ouija. He believes he truly deserves to be in this match, even after that foolish Zander faltered and gave up on his quest and gave Reynolds his spot in this match. Chris Beckford will falter like that of a white dove under attack from it's predator. His risks will not net the reward he wishes to obtain, a reward that will ultimately be mine. USA's foolish pride like a bald eagle will give him overconfidence, and like the opportunistic raven, I will feast upon every chance to break that confidence. He was my first victim when I first arrived in WZCW, and I promised him then I would break him down the next time we met. I have every intention of keeping that promise.

He leans back against the chain link fence, his eyes closed and his arms crossed in front of his chest. He takes a deep breath, and suddenly a nearby lightpost goes out, significantly darkening the area.

That leaves the two opponents I have concerned myself with mostly, Lars Reidar and Corey Payne. Ah yes, Corey Payne, the same fool who believed I would truly be a team player with him. I am certain you listened to my conversation with Showtime and thought I was more concerned with winning that meaningless ten man match at the Megashow. You let your guard down and I would not let that opening go by without stabbing you and opening a gash. I must admit it became far more effective than I expected, that wound now festers and you have become the wounded duck, just praying that death does not come. You are easy prey for me now Payne, and I intend to harvest your energy for my own and toss aside your carcass to rot like the rest of the hopeful bright eyed KFAD competitors. You are nothing to me and I intend to finish what I started when we step in that hellish cage. You believe fighting in cages gives you the advantage and you are sadly mistaken Mr. Payne. You are walking into my playground, my backyard and I intend to plan out your burial plot.

He opens his eyes suddenly and begins walking down the street once more. He reaches the corner. The scene suddenly fades to black as sinister laughter can be heard in the background. The scene fades back in, revealing the location to be Stonehenge. Ty stands on one of the few remaining pillars, his features illuminated by the large full red moon behind him.

Lars Reidar is the only man considered to be my equal in this match. In fact there are many comparisons between him and I. I have heard the whispers in the wind Reidar, and many claim this KFAD is your moment, yet another chance for you to fail in claiming the WZCW World Heavyweight Championship. This is the difference between you and I Reidar, where as you constantly receive opportunities because the old men in charge feel sorry for you, I earn my chances, and I always make good with my opportunities. I do not beg and plead for my title shots like you Reidar, I refuse to grovel at the feet of Bateman or Myles. They even gave you a chance to claim the title I made worthwhile, the Eurasian Championship against a man I have defeated with ease and yet you couldn't even accomplish something so trivial as defeating Showtime. You are not my equal, I have defeated men you cannot, and I have proven that the dark arts are my mastery, not yours. So come Reidar, in Hell's Pit known as the Elimination Chamber, I will prove to you and everyone else in WZCW that I am the one to be fearful of, that I am the superior predator, and that you are an after thought, a foot note in the history of WZCW.

A white circle begins forming around the Stonehenge pillars, as a pentagram begins forming in the middle. Ty throws his head back and his eyes begin glowing red as his voice deepens.

My coronation at Kingdom Come will be a glorious event to behold! While you peasants throw yourselves at my feet begging for mercy, I will sharpen the blade that will be each of your undoing. As all five of you lie upon the ground, withering in pain and unable to handle the suffering I will inflict with help from the Chamber, I will stand upon your neck as the crown is placed upon my head. The Exalted will become the K.O.D., the King of Darkness. And it is upon that moment that my blood drenched march to the WZCW World Heavyweight Title will begin, and my laughter will echo into the deep reaches of your minds as you squabble with one another why you allowed the ultimate predator to feed upon you all so easily.

The scene fades to black once more before coming back up inside the Tower of London. Inside a circle room rests the famed Crown Jewels. Six ravens sit perched on a ledge around the room. Gas lamps are lit in the corner, emitting a low light. Ty walks to the center of the room where St Edward's Crown sits upon a pedestal. His hands begin reaching for the crown but stops just inches away from it. He looks up into the camera and smiles viciously once more.

At Kingdom Come, my kingdom and reign over the malcontent and weak underlings will begin. The Chamber is merely a tool at my disposal, and I will break my opposition against the cold steel. Their bones will shatter like a falling icicle, and their minds lost to the madness of the Ouija!

He grasps the crown and begins lifting it to his head as the screen fades to black.

The television plays in the corner of the dark, dingy, prison cell sized room, replaying a local house show from earlier on that week.

Lars Reidar picks up the limp body of Kravinoff having connected with the Trial and Retribution. Lifts him above his head, before planting with the Sacrilegious Desecration.

Following the three count, the arena goes black and the Tron lights up with a promo.

Harrys: Making his way to the ring from Oslo, Norway, weighing in at 275 lbs.... VENNNNNGGGGGGGEANCE!

And Hell to pay.
An image of a bloodied Lars Reidar fills the screen and fades to black.

The television switches off, as the camera swings around to see Lars sitting with a towel covering his head, a puddle of water gathering around his feet, dripping down from both the ceiling and from himself.
When he speaks, he addresses the floor, still not looking up from the spot he has been focussing on the whole time.

LR: What goes through your mind when faced with the prospect of brutality like nothing ever experienced before?

Fear? Nervous anticipation?

How do you think the five men that will join me inside that structure are feeling right now, on the eve of Kingdom Come? They’ve seen the evidence of what they shall face. They have seen that only two men who left the cage are still competing today.

They will have seen Daniel Stokes last a mere few months since his debut in the structure, Apotheosis’ lust for enlightenment dampened to the point he walked away. The Grand Mystique fade into insignificance, and Murfish simply melt away.

And yet the image of Ricky on top of the cage, celebrating his victory is all that lives on.

Every time I see it, I remember looking up from the mat at a snivelling coward who sat in his corner for most of the match whilst others cleared the way for him to claim a hollow victory.

And so I am forced to re-enter hell to claim what is rightfully mine and travel to the very centre, through 5 others who deserve the condemnation they shall receive.

Ulysses S Adams, you’ve managed to secure your spot in hell because of the incompetence of another. A gluttonous idiot who would rather undertake illicit activities than focus on the fact he had the option of a title shot. USA, you’ve been in WZCW for a long time, and yet, you nothing! You come into this match against former champions, multiple time number one contenders, cage fighters and two men tipped for greatness.

You have been guilty of the sin of sloth – idly sitting and watching others succeed while you feed on the scraps thrown from the table like a dog. Rest assured, I am not in a giving vein in this match. You shall receive no mercy from me.

Lars stands up, and paces the room a little, composing his thoughts. He rests his hand on the television, dusting the top of it, before punching down on it and cracking the casing.

Further on your journey through hell, we come into the fourth circle. An area reserved for the greedy, the covetous. The howls are loud and among them, Chris Beckford. Understandable as it is for a man who comes from a deprived area, won which continually blames those around them for its shortfalls and social deprivation.

Lars lifts up the broken television and hurls it across the room.

You see Chris, I have anger issues also, but the difference is that you can punch all the mirrors you want, you can shout at Leon and make as much noise as possible, but all it amounts to is you throwing a temper tantrum. At Lethal Lottery, you struggled to compete with the rest of the roster while I was challenging for a title. For all your effort, no-one sits up and pays attention to you.

He moves around the room, slowly, menacingly, lighting candles dotted around the room

As we reach the outskirts of Dis, in the Stygian river, we reach the place of the wrathful.

At this point, Lars unscrews the light bulb from the ceiling fitting. He turns his back, and the camera can hear the glass break. He continues.

Corey Payne... a man famed for his ability to hurt people, who claims to enjoy hurting people. The fact is Corey, while you may have the high tolerance for pain, I’ve pinned you. Don’t get me wrong, I respect the love of inflicting and receiving pain, and considering the <drip> sickening noise your knee made, I’d say you’re the kind of guy I’m going to enjoy putting through Perspex.

<Drip>

But the danger you face is not that I’ll pick you apart. No, the danger is in thinking that I’m the sort of person who will slacken because you’ve damaged your knee a little. Rest assured Corey, I know what you are, I know the <drip> lengths you are prepared to go to prove yourself...

Lars takes the towel off his head and throws it across the room, lying on the bench where he was sitting earlier, a bloody handprint visible on the towel, as well as a notable grey tinge contrasted to the white of the towel on the outside.

You want to be a big name and entering this contest injured would be the prime setting to do so, overcoming the odds. But know this, I will take everything you have, and return it tenfold. <Drip> All the pain you have suffered in the last week will be nothing. At Kingdom Come, there is no running.

He stops, and chuckles

Well, limping for you.

Lars runs a hand through his hair, leaving a crimson thread through his notably more grey hair.

And so we reach the inner city of Hell itself. Home to those who have committed the active sins. The violent, the frauds, the traitors and the heretics.

Descending into the eighth level of hell, we find the false prophets, and we find Austin Reynolds. Austin, you claim that you are the greatest thing to enter this match. Maybe because it’s in your own backyard, maybe it’s because you’ve yet to face anyone who can actually present you with a challenge. Maybe it’s just because you’re an arrogant little upstart.

I’ve watched you in the last few weeks, and you are an entertaining prospect, but you have deluded yourself with the lies. All flash, all words. All you need is masks and a few card tricks and you could pass yourself as a slightly taller version of Grand Mystique. Like him, his star will crash and burn away inside the King for a Day structure.

You see, I listen to you, I feel the impatience in your voice, I understand the fury in your words, but not the words. You can talk of how much you deserve the gold, how you are the Ratings god of this company, but the fact is Austin, empty vessels make the most noise. And at Kingdom come, I’m going to hit you so hard that the big bang you make will resound throughout the ages.

Lars turns round, the blood red streaks through his hair paling into insignificance when the bloody handprints around his face come into view.

Finally, we reach the outskirts of the deepest darkest part of hell, we reach the final Bolgia above the home of Satan himself. Home of the false, the liars, the frauds. Home of Ty Burna.

Ty, the only champion in a match. The only man to actually succeed at accomplishing the goal he set for himself, and the only man I see as a danger to my final chance at greatness. I have no intention of making the mistakes of the last year. For you see Ty, you may have won the Eurasian title, but what since? I may have lost in my title shots, but my losses to Titus and Everest are more worthwhile than your obscurity, interspersed with losses to Drake Callahan and Showtime.

He stops to add spikes to the unmarked side of his face, transforming his face further into a war mask.

Your great strength over everyone else you have faced in your career doesn’t work with me. You see Ty, I don’t fear you, and I know you don’t fear me. We are similar people, but the fact is that we trust in different things.

The man I was, trusted in another to influence his path, you trust in your little board. I trust in power, I trust in guile, I trust in fate. For I have set my life upon a cast, and I will stand the hazard of the dice.
Your little board, it has no power to influence.

He pulls out a board, walks over the nearest candle and sets it on fire, reducing it to ashes in his hand. He cups it and continues.

The descent through hell is almost complete. Only the final level remains of traitors, and Satan himself. Even if I make it through the others, I still have to contend with those who would betray their very souls for their own gain, I still have to the wrath of Bateman and Myles to pass through.

Tarja will return after Kingdom Come, and she will return as a Queen. But enough, the time for talk is over. It is time to go to hell and back. Pain, wrath, anger...

He spins around and candles flicker out. All but one ate far end of the room. The cameraman retrieves it and walks back to his camera. He pauses, lowers his camera to the floor where it takes in the ash fragments mingled with the blood on the floor

Welcome to my paradise

*Scene opens with the camera aimed at the floor zoomed in on some grass, Footsteps are heard walking towards, then past the camera. The camera tilts up and we see we are in a graveyard, it's night so we can't quite make out the person who walked past although he has flowers in his hand. The camera follows the figure as it turns towards a gravestone. The man crouches down and lays the flowers at the foot of the gravestone before standing back up. The Camera circles round the gravestone and reveals the face of the man.....its Chris Beckford.

The camera reverses round so we can see the Gravestone that Beckford is looking at, as the light shines on we see it reads:

Cherised Memories Of A
Beloved Husband And Dad
John Andrew Beckford
Died 31 March 1987
Aged 40 Years
Missed More Than Words Can Say.

The camera pulls out as Beckford crouches back down and he places his hand on the gravestone.*

Beckford: Hi Dad, I know I haven't been to visit for a while but things have been really hectic in my life at the moment. I know you're watching down on me and I know some of the luck I've had you've engineered, we achieved the dream though we made it into WZCW. Mum freaked out, she still doesn't want me wrestling. She seems to have been more agitated since I joined WZCW, I think she just doesn't want me to get hurt. I'm going to call in and see her again before the show. Speaking of the show I got into the King For A Day match up where the winner will recieve a title shot. Thats another step towards the Championship that I have to take full advantage of.

*Beckford stands up takes a few steps back and pauses the camera zooms in and we see a tear coming down Beckford's cheek*

Beckford:(Breaking Up) I..... I just wish you could be here to see me do it.

*Beckford pauses again, he crouches back down puts his head in his hands and leans against the gravestone. After a few seconds he takes his hands down, wipes his eyes and stands back up*

Beckford: Dad, these past few weeks have been so hard. I've been wrestling some of the best talent around and its been tough. This is my first apperance in England since I joined WZCW and I need to show our people what I can do. I need to take my chance, I need that shot.

*As Beckford is talking we can here a car pull up close by. We hear a car door open and close*

Beckford: I know you will be watching me and........... (Beckford starts to break up again) I know that...that you will look out for me.

???: He will do more than that, he will be the driving force behind you.......He will make you win.

*Beckford turns around to see Sam Remmington stood behind him*

Remmington: Chris, I know your nervous about Kingdom Come, it's the biggest show in the world but if you keep doing what you have been doing, what you have trained your life to do you will be successful. Your father will always be with you, watching your every move. Chris you will win this match and then later become WZCW Champion.

*Beckford turns back towards the gravestone, he runs his hand down the front of it*

Beckford: Chris Beckford WZCW Champion.......... I really like the sound of that.

Remmington: Come on Chris it's time to head to London for tomorrows show I'll give you a minute

*Sam heads towards the car. Beckford stands up*

Beckford: I'll be back to see you soon Dad,

*Beckford kisses his fingers and places them accross his fathers name he then walks toward the car and gets in as the scene fades out.*

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Scene opens with the camera facing a door with the number 24 on it. We hear a car pull up, the camera turns as Beckford and Remmington get out of the car. They walk towards and then knocks on the door.*

Beckford: My Mums house and I don't even have a key, its like being 13 again.

*A woman answers the door, she has soft brown hair, brown eyes and a pink blowse on. Beckford enters the house and kisses the woman on her cheek. Sam follows*

Beckford: Hi Mum, we don't have much time but I need you to come with me we have a flight to catch.

Beckfords Mum:
Chris its so good to see you, where are we going?

Beckford: You're coming to see me become number one contender, I have got you box seats. I really need you there tomorrow night Mum

Beckfords Mum: Oh you know I how I feel about these sort of events Chris. I'm pleased you are where you are but I just wish you were doing something else, something were you cannot be hurt.

Beckford: Mum I'll be fine, by the way I've been to see Dad. I thought while I'm back in Leeds I better see him. It's been too long. Anyways we had better go the flight to London takes off shortly.

*The scene fades*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Scene opens with the Camera looking directly at the floor. it moves up and we see we are backstage at Kingdom Come. It becomes apparent that we are indeed looking through Beckford's own personal camera due to the fact that he turns the camera round and heads towards the enterance to the stage. As he gets there he peeps the camera round the curtain and we see thousands of WZCW fanatics in attendence. He tilts the camera up and we see the Chamber. He takes the camera back to where he was originally stood as we see Leon Kensworth nearing closer with an offical WZCW cameraman. The shot swtiches to the cameramans view.*

Kensworth:
Chris, how you feeling man, You're just moments away from the biggest show of the year Kingdom Come in your home country, you gotta be excited?

*Beckford swtiches off his camera*

Beckford: Leon I am so anxious, this is it. Kingdom Come, where the dreams are made. I just had a little look out there and the fans seem pumped for tonight, I just want to get out there and it may sound strange but I can't wait to get in that Chamber and mix it up with Ty, Lars, Corey, Austin and USA.

Kensworth: What are your thoughts on your oppenents tonight?

Beckford: Well put it this way, you don't get to be in a King For A Day Chamber match at Kingdom Come if you dont have talent. I respect the hell out of these guys. That being said I'm not in there to make up the numbers I'm in there to entertain, I'm in there to fight but most of all I'm in there to win. I could break down each opponent and go through them individually but I don't see the point. There are 5 men in this match it's going to come down to who is in the right place at the time to pick up the victory. That person is going to be me. Its going to be tough because as I said these guys have fantastic talent, they are th future of WZCW but make no mistake about it I will be KING FOR A DAY.

*With that Beckford walks off, leaving Leon as the scene fades out*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Scene opens with the camera in the back corridor near the entrance stage. We see Chris Beckford stood with his hands and head against the wall. Over the PA we here Enya Stomp hit. As the music hits Beckford just casually stands up walks towards the curtain points to the sky *

Beckford: This ones of you Dad.

*Beckford lets out a huge scream as he runs through the curtain .....the scene fads out*

USA is in the locker room immediately before the match. He is alone, with a towel over his head. He has a microphone in his hand. He pulls the mic in front of his mouth and keeps his head down. He begins to talk:

Some men enjoy certain pleasures in life. Some men want them all. Some men want a platform from which to speak. Some men want a bullhorn in the city square. Some men search for redemption....

He looks up. The towel falls over his shoulders.

...and some men seek to be the redeemer. I seek to be the redeemer. I seek the bullhorn in the town square. This is my chance. In five minutes my music is going to play, and I have my chance to be King. I have my chance to send my message.

I fight for others. I fight to give hope. If I am to say that I fight for the people, I need to fight harder to get where I want. I have a chance to take a huge jump today.

Some of you I have fought before. Some of our paths have never crossed, but like any great Marine, I have scouted all of my enemies, and I am prepared to do battle. I know that the attacks will be coming from all sides, and I know I will get ambushed, but the heart of one who fights for the people is a heart that can lose a battle to win a war.

USA stands now, the towel falls to the ground. With the mic in his right hand, he uses his left hand to point at the camera.

And make no mistake about it! This is a fricken war. Everyone will have their big guns out. Some of my openents will use their air force, and some will soldiers, but I am the only Marine, and a Marine always wins in war because a Marine has a piece of everyone he fights for inside of him. I thank my fans for sticking with me through my ups and downs, but tonight, it all becomes worth it.

Semper Fi!

The opening of The Star Spangled Banner Plays and USA moves towards the curtain.

From the Halls of Montezuma to stompin mudholes for the throne. Not bad for a Marine with an anger problem. Let's do this.

USA opens the curtain and the crowd starts to.....
