One of the local sports talk hosts was having quite a lot of fun ripping on the athletic "accomplishments" of Kim Jong Il yesterday, making up other amazing feats that Kim Jong Il claimed he had done, in addition to his amazing golf and bowling skills...Well, that kind of got me thinking...maybe Kim Jong Il is just a huge Mr. Perfect mark? I remember all those vignettes when Mr. Perfect was getting ready to debut in the WWF, where he was playing pool, hitting home runs, making baskets without looking, hitting hole in ones on the golf course, etc.
Everything Kim Jong Il claimed he could do athletically are pretty much the same things Mr. Perfect might claim. Did Kim Jong Il merely try to emulate Mr. Perfect? Were they actually athletic rivals, engaging in a case of one-upmanship against each other? Was Dear Leader Hennig's athletic mentor? That would explain how Mr. Perfect could seemingly match his athletic prowess...
I did hear that he batted .1000 while hitting five 600+ foot Homeruns in the only little league baseball game he played in as well.
