I can see how that would make sense but why Vickie??Seems like the route WWE is trying to go here is Drew's aggressiveness rubbing off on to Kelly Kelly...first it was the jumping of Lay-Cool on Smackdown, and now this.
If they're going to follow through with turning Drew face, what better way to do it then by pitting him against a wrestler managed by the person who garners more heat than anyone in the business?
Why would Kelly attack Vicky?
Last Friday, when Drew won his match without unnecessary violence, Kelly climbed into the ring, presumably to talk to him, but he stalked off with his back turned to her. I thought the writers were calling off the whole program between the two, indicating that Drew had decided Kelly wasn't worth dealing with.
THeir characters don't need to interact in order to further the storyline...plenty happened to make it progress actualy:
1) Kelly Kelly's aggressiveness continued
2) Announcers continuous references to Drew's mindset not being in the right place due to Kelly's distractions during his match with Kofi (if the storyline was dropped, I don't see them bringing this up that often...remember the Kane/Kelly storyline that was dropped out of the blue?)
3) Kelly using Drew as a comparison to Edge
4) Kelly getting fired
Last night on Smackdown, Vickie "fired" Kelly Kelly (she said she was fired from Smackdown which makes everything think she'll come back to RAW) but Kelly's name was removed from Smackdown and put in the 'WWE Alumni' category on WWE.com. That could mean that she's gone from the company for now or it's just to enhance the storyline.
