Kane vs. The Great Khali

It's all but confirmed, so I may as well make the thread before we get 10 other's all at once.

Everyone know's the match is going to suck. But does anyone else think there will be a stipulation? With Kane coming out with that chain I think it will either be just a Hardcore match, or a wacky never to be used again gimmick match.

Please, it is sad just posting in this thread. This is going to probably be a match that will surely win some awards. Maybe the WrestleCrap awards, if their standards aren't set too high. Kane can barely pull out a decent match from anyone nowadays, so any chance of having an interesting match with this 7 foot pile of monkey crap known as Khali is borderline impossible. Not even a stipulation could save this, although I am sure they will promote it as a little bit more than the bathroom break it is going to be. Hell, hopefully they will cancel it a week before because they finally realised that Khali shouldn't be wrestling anywhere, let alone at what is meant to be the biggest PPV on the wrestling calendar. Another pointless feud, another pointless match. This is the problem in the WWE. It's guys like Khali that get the pushes whereas the guys that should be having singles matches and feuds at Wrestlemania. I cannot stand seeing Khali on TV, but he and Kane at Wrestlemania is going to take boring, pathetic and just plain asinine to a whole new level.

Just imagining this makes me want to be sick, and if I work up the courage to buy this PPV, I am going to make sure I don't watch this match, no matter what kind of stipulation that they try and dig up to attempt to get any sort of interest here. Here's hoping that Khali gets that hook shoved up his ass so that he doesn't come back for a long time, and I hope this isn't Kane's swansong at Wrestlemania because he deserves better than this.

I certainly wont be taking a brake during this match. Other than a technical masterpiece there's nothing more satisfying than watching a crap match. Watching the wrestler's completley fall apart before your eye's is great. I love it when a crowd get's on there back's and completley throw's them off. This match is going to get serious heat.

I think Khali would have already experienced getting the crap booed out of him by a bored crowd, and it is going to happen here as well, that is if there is anybody not at the toilets in Ford Field. We should be seeing these matches on Raw, and we damn sure don't deserve to have to watch these matches at Wrestlemania. In fact, we don't deserve to have to associate Khali with wrestling. I just don't think that Vince takes any notice to what diehard fans love and hate and the shit that will be heaped on this match is never going to get through to an oblivious McMahon.

I cannot stand seeing Khali on TV, and at WM is even worse. There is no way in hell that I could ever stand seeing this match, because the only thing that will be hilarious is when Khali finally gets fired. I find nothing humourous about these people and of course it is inevitable that they are going to stink up the already terrible card, and TNA will be the people laughing, not me. I may laugh from insanity if I actually sit there and put myself through watching them, but that's about it.

Why even make this match? I have been a fan of kane forever and I think he deserves more than this. This is a complete slap to kanes face to put him or anybody in the ring with the worst wrestler in history! If I do get mania I will be taking a piss break when this crap comes on. Why is kane not wrestling for a title like the US title? Khali is slow and sloppy in the ring, I just don't get why he hasn't been fired.

kane vs khali will be so bad. but the idea is good. like kane a giant vs a taller guy in a no holds barred match would be good...but khali just screws the entire wrestling business when he is in there. i like kane using his weapon but it would be better against someone else.

I am a huge Kane fan and would normally watch any of his matches no matter who the opponent... I said normally as I wont be watching him face Khali...

this match will be simply awful, just awful. Khali shouldnt even be on Heat, actually shouldnt be allowed anywhre near not just a wrestling ring but a wrestling arena of any kind.

Add to this that I get the feeling that the Big Red Monster (who the WWE has made into as big a monster and as scary as Elmo) Kane will be jobbing to Khali to make us think Khali is .. well something

I just hope that Kane doesn't put Khali over... That would be terrible. The guy's worth crap, and should be kept there. I guess if they wanted to keep Khali as a "draw", they should just keep in some sort of bodyguard / manager role for a smaller heel. Kind of like the Problem Solver Tomko / Christian idea.

As a wrestler, the guy can't put on a good match. We can't blame him though, he doesn't speak any English, and is unnaturally huge... He can't be athletic, it just doesn't follow the laws of science lol.

Kane should have gotten a match with a guy like Nitro or something, that would have been OK. Too late now I guess, just hope he stays on a few more years, possibly facing the World Heavyweight Champion of the moment at next year's Wrestlemania.

This match is complete bullshit, I had high hopes for kane for wrestlemania this year. I was hoping he would win the MITB ladder match or compete for the US title but, like always WWE has to hold kane back. I don't get it, Khali has jumped from Smackdown to ECW to Raw then back to Smackdown looking for opponents. If wwe wanted to give khali some competiton, why didn't they just put him in a feud with someone from RAW, not kane. Hasn't Kane put enough people over already? I thought that by coming to smackdown, kane could start over and jumpstart his career but I guess I was wrong. I know kane has a habit of putting over talent, but at Wrestlemania, I would think Kane would his fans first, so a match with Khali wouldn't have been anywhere near what kane really wanted to do for MAnia. I bet WWE took advantage of Kane because of his nature to put over others and doing jobs that no one else would do. I personally don't want to see him job to Khali, so thats why I'm not ordering the PPV. Thanks Vince and the WWe writing staff, thanks for ruining wresltemania for me, and further shoving Kane's career down the toilet. I just hope Taker wins so that Mania isn't a total loss for me.

the other day, i was reading wikipedia and they posted Punjabi Prison Match for Kane vs Great Khali and then removed it later. i dont understand. i dont know if thats a rumor, spoiler, or what, but thats just what i saw. it may be true seeing as how 3 or 4 months in advance for Armageddon they had the last ride match set between undertaker and kennedy.

This match will be shit. But WWE are really getting in the spirit for this year's Wrestle Mania. It's looking like it's going to be very similar to the early Mania's. In the first 5 Mania's you can probably count 2 0r 3 good match's. Steamboat vs. Savage at #3 and Savage vs. Hogan at #5 and maybe a few other undercard match's. It's only in recent year's when the Wrestle Mania card has'nt been completley full of shit.

Is it just me or should this match have some kind of stipulation to it. If it is just a regular singles match then it is gonna be the worst match in the history of wrestlemania. I personally think it should be a buried alive match to me that would be much better than these two just punchin each other in the ring

They should have a gimmick match. But I get the feeling this feud will continue into Backlash. Both of them are shit wrestler's so even if it's a hardcore match it will more than likley still suck.

Whoa hold on there Jake, I'll agree, Khali's not a very good performer but give kane some credit. The man may not be an established technical wrestler but that doesn't mean that the guy can't perform. Kane still has a large number of fans that support him and they will be behind him and they will boo Khali when he beats kane. Many people say kanes not what what he used to be, and I agree, to an extent. However, I still think that kane still has what it takes to put on a good show when it counts and entertain his fans. So i'm praying for either a hardcore match or some kind of a prison match just so that the match at least looks like it worth watching and that kane can at least try and make khali look credible.

I made a thread on Kane. I like him but I've never thought he was a good wrestler. His best match is probably the triple threat hardcore match at W.M. X7. And that was still a complete fuck up. That's the only reason it was entertaining. He's too wooden to put on decent performances. Always has been always will be. But that's just my opinion. Next to Khali though he's Chris Benoit.

stop slagging off kane and khali, kane is good fact!! khali isnt but who cares u see him hes huge, i dont mind a 3 hour wrestmain with 20 minutes of sum 9000 ft matey throwing sum1 around like a chicken its quite fun like the, mini people matches pure nostalgia, so if they have a match ill watch it, and for sure they'll be sum gimmick, hell in cell i expect, but im kinda hoping summit new but it wont be theres not enough time build it up and that would ruin mcmahons ego about his own match, so like sum1 said about maybe a boring match at wrestlemania of punching (will be fun) and then backlash a gimmick

The Punjabi Prison would be one of the biggest debacles in Wrestlemania history. Wikipedia usually make this stuff up because the writers of the articles want some more news, but the last one was so stupid that no one wants to see it again. They shouldn't be getting gimmicks because they shouldn't be having a match. Nothing should be attempted to try and save this match because it simply has no potential. Kane is getting old and slow but Khali takes terrible to a whole new level. Kane has had his fair share of memorable matches but he should be winding down his career soon and so I think his good match days are over, especially with the prospects of him jobbing to Khali at Wrestlemania imminent now.

I have vague interest in this match, mainly because I want someone to bring down Khali. Though it's quite possible they'll make Kane job to him, as they seem to do quite a bit with Kane (e.g Kane vs. Imposter Kane, how lame was that?!?) Kane should win, wether he does is another thing altogether. And i agree with valor447 on Batista, what a waste of a world champion, they have pushed Kennedy and made him champ at the rumble, but no, let's have big Dave in the main event at mania... *claps* great works there lads.
