Just finished watching the new Stone Cold DVD...

The Rob

Telling me I'm invincible..
...and in my opinion it rivals anything WWE has released prior. I had a tear in my eye whilst the tribute was playing at the end of the documentary. The WWE do stuff like that better than anyone.

Who else has seen it?

I completely agree with what you said. I thought the DVD was one of the best they've ever done, I thought it was even better than the Rise and Fall of ECW or Bret vs. Shawn. I got to admit the ending made me tear up a little bit and struck an emotional chord with me. I also love they dedicated a disc to Austin's best segments throughout his career, I still laugh my ass off watching him smoke McMahon with a bedpan.

I thought it was a substantial improvement over the first 3 disc Stone Cold DVD and makes me wonder if they can do as good of a job with the new Rock one coming out.

Couldn't agree more, it's definitely one of the best that WWE has out together, and the fact that it's focused on one of the best of all time doesn't hurt too much either. But Stone Cold's really showed how great he was even(especially) in the face of adversity, even though I'd followed most of it when it was going on these sets always get me emotional because they're done so well, hats off to the WWE for them.

WWE video tributes or build-up videos are some of the best in any form of sport, entertainment extravaganza, simply anything. Goes back years too, I still remember the video package for Bret vs. Shawn at WrestleMania 12. Austin has had his fair share of good ones too, The Rock vs. Stone Cold one with Limp Bizkit is still probably my favourite video package WWE have ever done. Right up there with the Macho Man tribute, Shawn vs. Ric Flair and last years one for Taker/HHH.

I'll probably purchase the Austin DVD soon, may pick up The Rock and Edge's too once they come out.
