Why was he with HBK throughout 1996? I understand him helping Michaels train for the Iron Man Match but shouldn’t it have ended at mania? I don’t think the sixty something Lothario really fit in with the Heartbreak Kid, Sexy Boy, Boy Toy during the New Generation.

I like to think it was so we could see him get smacked with a camera, personally.

because WWE probably felt that the whole HBKs real life trainer being his manager thing would help him appeal to the young fans/families, whom they were trying to market themselves towards at the time. Of course HBK dressing like a Village People member and calling himself "The Heartbreak Kid" while being overly sexual sorta hindered that a bit.
