for me its to contrasted but you do have the right idea. I can see that kind of matrix lettering in the back it doesnt look bad except for all that contrast

Way too contrasted.Try and use some C4Ds and texture stocks with changed blending modes.The text is pretty decent,overall 5/10.

Try and read some tutorials.
