So I've been hoping that I wouldn't have to generate all the discussion when not in here but seeing that there haven't been new posts down here in. A bit and yesterday I didn't post due to food poisioning today I try and keep the prison alive by talking about a favorite summer activity:

Going to the beach.

What are your favorite beaches?

Mine is Avalon in NJ

I live in Scotland, so beaches are inherently disappointing.

The beaches on the California coast that I've been to are nice, but I can't name any of them.

I'll tell you one to avoid: pretty much anywhere on the Gulf Coast west of Pensacola. Water so dirty you don't want to swim in it.

The Moray Coast has some decent ones.

The beaches just outside of melbourne are pretty damn good from my experiences growing up next to them, but my personal favourite is sorrento's surf beach just for the sheer amount of stuff you can do - although I will admit getting dumped on the rocks after a particularly rough wave will probably kill you if you're unlucky...

South Padre Island has one of the best beaches down here in Texas. I went a couple of years ago during spring break.

Galveston's beach sucks. South Padre is so much better.
