No doubt about it.Undertaker matches from 06/07 till now have been better than all his matches before.Back in the 90's taker's matches were exciting because his character was supernatural, impervious to pain, and just plain scary. From a technical standpoint they were quite forgettable.Every year up till 06(bar 02) takers matches were inconsitent good sometimes (vs cena vengeance 03,austin judgement day 01, diesel wrestlemania 12), but sometimes really bad(vs heidenreich survivor series 04, several super heavyweights early 90's, the rock, kotr 99).

However since 06/07, his in ring ability has been awesome he has consistent matches on a daily basis, awesome matches, quite a lot(vs angle no way out 06, batista all matches 07, vs edge wrestlemania 24 hbk wrestlemania 25), i think due to him losing that bit of weight by the end of 06, adding more mma fighting moves(as well as hells gate), taking parts of previous characters traits(deadman taker's persona, big evil takers smash mouth physical style) and the responsibilty as a veteran to show the youngsters how to do it, has made him improve on it big time.

am i right or wrong? is his matches/ring ability better now than in the past or not?, whatever you think, OPINIONS PLEASE!

Yes. Even though he was in his "prime" in the '90s and early '00s the man has gotten himself into great shape. He's also added much more moves to his offense. His character in the '90s didn't call for him to do most of these moves. His American Bad Ass character in the early '00s didn't call for him to do many of these moves either. All he had to do in the '90s was move around the ring slowly and look scary. In the early '00s all he did was brawl. This Undertaker does so much more in the ring. I think since 2006 when he returned in good shape and wrestled that one match against Kurt Angle he's been on an amazing roll since. I give credit to the UFC. It's well known that Undertaker watches UFC and you can tell he uses more submissions and even his punches look more realistic.

So, yes, I think The Undertaker right now is a better wrestler than he was in the '90s and early '00s.

Mark is a LEGEND. & imo is the best big man EVER. As to the ? he's a hell of more seasoned now. But his athleticism has taken a big hit due to age/injuries. Can he still put on fantastic matches? Of course! Is his in ring abilty better than in his prime? No.

The Undertaker hasn't been very good since he returned from his most recent absence, certainly not as good as he was in the years previous anyway. In the early 90s, his matches were attrocious, as it was all about the character. He was slow and boring, and not very dynamic at all. In some early matches, he was basically static. In short, The Undertaker is more entertaining now than he was 19 years ago, but probably less entertaining than he was 19 months ago in the ring. As the total package, he was probably at his best in the late 90s, before the American Bad Ass times, when he had the Ministry.
