Is It Time For A New WWE Logo

I don't know if this has been done yet but Is it time for a brand new WWE Logo, They had the same logo for 13 years now WWF/E and I Think it's time for a brand new one sense they are only refer to as ''WWE'' now.

I think it is overdue honestly. I would like something different for sure, something updated at least. I just think the old scratchy lettering with the inverted Nike swoosh is lame now.

I'm likely to be in the very few to say this, but I actually prefer the current WWE logo as it has that "attitude" feel to it, although WWE is nothing like that anymore, but it seems like the logo is one of the only things still from the past, and I want it to be kept, although if they changed it, I wouldn't care to much. I'd just rather them keep the logo, but that's just me.

With the whole "rebranding", I think now would be a perfect time for a new logo.

I think so. Something totally different though, not the blocky classic with and "E" added, not the scratch, but something different.

Personally I'd like a MLB/NBA logo where it's red white and blue with an image in the middle. Then again, that might be too "Sporty" but it might make a cool shirt or Cena shirt (since he's the Jerry West of the modern era).

I do think they need to change it. The scratch logo doesn't reflect the current personality of the company.

I like that idea as well. Maybe we should post a thread and get some of the Sig makers here to test their skills on making a new WWE logo.

After making my post I was thinking with the new logo they need to make new belts because the IC Title has '' World Wrestling Entertainment'' written on it a long with the side plate of that god awful wwe spinner belt the tag titles are new but they look stupid and lame the diva's title should not be silver the US title they should do a WCW look with a small us flag and the WH title should not change except the logo but you cab barely see it I hope they do that soon and a fast.

Well I think the IC title and World title are the only ones that have the word "wrestling" still on them. I wouldn't mind seeing a new WWE title though.

Actually it has only been about 9 years. They only use the current logo because they aren't allowed to use this one:

Although, 9 years is longer than how long they used some of their other logos and they are in the process of changing a lot of things, so perhaps it is time for a new logo. I heard that one was in development a while back, along with a new world title and neither happened. Perhaps they are still in development, or maybe those were simply just rumors. I like the current logo and would be perfectly fine with it sticking around because as the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". There's really nothing wrong with using the current logo a little longer. There are logos out there (outside of WWE) that have been used for decades. Who's to say that this logo might not last over a decade longer? It's not the end of the world if it does, as logos that last a long time are more recognizeable to the public and casual fans.

It seems like the right time for a new logo, if they were actually planning on one, what with the rebranding of the entire company, and Vince dropping "wrestling" from the name. I wouldn't be surprised if one debuted at any time now.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me what the logo looks like. It's a complete non-issue, and it's not going to make or break the product in any way, shape, or form. It could be in pink script with flowers coming out of it, and I'm not going to have an opinion on it at all.

I wouldnt be surprised if they introduced a new logo to emphasise the new WWE name and move away from anything associated with the past.

Man, looking at the old WWF attitude logo, it looks SO much better than the double WW version they had to switch to, even though there isnt really much difference.

I fully expect a child-friendly new logo, lacking any attitude whatsoever.

You could say "lacking any attitude whatsoever" or "lacking all trashiness whatsoever". To me "WWF Attitude" translates to "white trash jerry springer yelling shit". That's just me. Don't be so critical. They're a publicly traded company so they have more at steak and have to think about themselves in a totally different way.

I think WWE should come out with a line of shirts that have new logos in the same form as others. Like the Warner Bros "WB" in the shield style, the pro sports style (one I talked about earlier), maybe a few others. If the shirts get over, then it means people are willing to accept new logos (in theory).

Whoever said the script could be pink with flowers and not matter hasn't taken a business class. Image matters. With most companies, everything down to how you package your product is very thoroughly thought out and presented in a manner thought to suit the company. The WWE logo is no different and a logo with pink letters and flowers would be awful.

I would not mind at all if they stuck with the current one for the forseeable future but I suppose with the changing of the times a new logo would be fitting. I like the idea of reverting back to the old pre attitude WWF logo but with an E obviously. If they wanted to make something of the PG era and have a logo that reflects this then maybe they could do some kind of baby building block idea with the letters WWE on a block a bit like this..
