...is something that I seriously question at times. This man has the gall to disrespect DePalma's Scarface and to argue that Red Dragon is better than Manhunter. Furthermore, he told me once that Hoop Dreams was overrated rubbish. Well, that's not true; I totally made up the last part. But, he strikes me as the kind of guy who doesn't like documentaries.

What say you on IrishCanadian25's taste in film?

As for the gay porn, that's funny as shit. It would have been worse though if they had put a picture of Tu...never mind, I don't want to corrupt anyone here with even a mere mention of that picture. I still shiver from the prank someone pulled on me by changing my Desktop to this.

Yes, as Murfish states, I am a slasher nerd. Halloween 6 made me into a Paul Rudd fan. I want to find the real Rabbit in Red lounge. If ebay sold it, I'd buy Creighton Duke's hat from Jason Goes to Hell.

Anyway, I did enjoy Red Dragon. I thought is was immaculately cast, with Ralph Feinnes as Dollarhyde, Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Freddie Lounds, Ed Norton as Will Graham, and even Harvey Keitel as Crawford. The acting was very strong, and Hopkins kept is so classy. Just a power house cast.

Manhunter was good too. Just not as good.

I'd quite like to know what IrishCanadian makes of my old Top 100 Films list.

I'm just putting the finishing touches on a fully revised and updated "take 2" version which I'll stick up in a week or so.

For the record: I think Manhunter is quite possibly the worst film of the 1980s. It's abysmal. Just so clunky, cheesy, badly written, poorly acted, poorly directed -- it's horrible -- and let's not mention the soundtrack shall we! Don't get the hate for Scarface though.
