    This is a first round match in the International Region, Las Vegas Subregion. It is a standard one on one match held under International Rules. It will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    I love the pretend Russians from the 80s in principle, because they are such a ludicrous product of the time, but the reality is Bret Hart was one of the most successful wrestlers of the early 90s and would frequently best solid midcard wrestlers like Koloff. He would definitely win here.

    Ivan was the better Koloff IIRC. Nikita won the NWA Nation championship once, which was one step below the main NWA championship, while Ivan won the WWE championship. Albeit for a millisecond, but he defeated Bruno to do so.

    That being said I'd put Bret over either, so it really doesn't matter which Koloff it is.
