Internet Geniuses - Your Help Needed

DA-DA Da Da Da Bah Da Da DADADA
So my work laptop crapped the bed. They gave me a new one but here's the issue - I had Spotify on my computer. I can no longer install or use Spotify at work. I needed Spotify to help get me through the day with commercial free music with the ability to listen to whatever I want.

Furthermore - Pandora and Slacker Radio aren't options as they don't work either. Unless Pandora has a "Lite Player" that I don't know about.

So, I'm looking for potential options that are commercial free, and free to use. I tried Sirius for a month and it was great but they also want to charge $15 a month just for online listening. If it were $7 a month, I probably would have bit the bullet. Does anyone know of an option that will act like Spotify, or at least close enough? Is there a possible way I can stream Spotify from my Droid to my computer? If you know of any type of music service that could work, I'd be forever indebted to you. Of course there's I Heart Radio's website, but I'm looking for commercial free music.

Or I need to find a way to install Spotify on my work computer somehow.

Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated.

Why can you not use Spotify at work simply because you have a new laptop? And yes, it's a question related to your problem.

If I try to install it, I get a notification basically saying that I'm unable to continue installation. Even the woman in my IT Dept. was like, "oh, you got lucky installing this before we blocked it" back when I was first having problems with my old computer.

You shouldn't need anything to play Pandora online, it just plays in a web browser.

But if that doesn't help, there's always YouTube or portable speakers for your phone.

That's the thing... Pandora and Youtube both don't work. Streaming media is pretty much on lockdown. Sirius had a "lite player" that worked beautifully, but I don't want to spend $15 a month at the same time.

I uploaded my music library to Google Play and listen to that at work. It's essentially iTunes, but online through Google
