What I feel could be more fun than "Absolute Best" polls, are multi-round tournaments. I'm going to test this with the WWF/WWE Intercontinental Championship. The strength of this design is that you don't have to pick one man (or Chyna) out of ten, but rather all matchups are head-to-head, and only the really strong competitors will even make it to the final four, let alone win.
Now, unfortunately there have been 57 different IC Champs. Not quite 64 and way more than 32. So on a first come, first serve basis, it's up to you all to either nominate or disqualify any former champions from the tournament. You can nominate or disqualify any number of people you want, and if you can please give a good reason.
Within one or two weeks, we will determine who the populace feels carried the IC strap better than an other.
I'd like to begin with my nominations, since I won't be able to vote (it's only fair). When voting starts, each matchup will take place IN THIS THREAD, and votes must be posted. The winner will be the vote leader after two hours, or five votes (if it lasts longer than two hours to get there).
